It's hard for me to give a 5/5 review... but this place deserves it. I've lived here my whole life and finally found this gem. I got 3 appetizers to try calamari, mozzarella sticks and spinach artichoke dip. I'm gonna be honest didn't like the calamari, Sonic mozz sticks are better but the Dip.... that's to DIE for. Seriously amazing. As i got the appetizers it's BYOB so of course my table brought like 5 bottles of wine and they were nice enough to give us buckets with ice to put it in. As a meal i got the vodka sauce seafood pasta... and well. This meal was maybe $15 and at any other restaurant would have been $30+. For the price. Amazing. Also the bread is so good, I'm not a bread person like to me olive gardens bread is nasty but this bread i actually really liked. Will be back soon, i promise. There was a film of oil or butter on pretty much every meal we got. The rolls were stale. The fried mushrooms...why not cut them up and make it more delicate? It's like a blob of batter. One of the meals had white wine sauce, even that was covered in an oily mess. White wine reduction sauce is supposed to be light and delicate, not hard to make. It was not olive oil, olive oil is expensive, I doubt they drown their food in it. Grossed out honestly. Ugh. read more

Cafe Sicilia''s decor will hit you one of two ways : kitschy sentimental neighborhood Italian restaurant or simply "not Olive Garden" gaudy. I like indoor fountains and fake vines and a certain amount of kitsch and we enjoy the older look here. What you do need to support the look is good food and crisp service. We've used Groupons twice here and I would recommend them so you can save a little if you want to check them out. Cafe Sicilia does have $7.50 Lunch Specials every day from 11 - 3 pm with your choice of soup or salad, rolls and soda or iced tea. There are a host of items to choose from and I chose the meat Lasagna and my spouse the Eggplant Parmigiana. We both had the tossed salad. Last time we ordered entrees from the menu and found the portions to be huge and they matched the prices. This time the lunch portions were perfect, the crispy cold lettuce with housemade dressings and their housemade garlic knot yeast rolls were just right for us. The Lasagna is good old fashioned restaurant style with a quite a bit of cheese and not so much meat. Tasty and it satisfied a lasagna yen. The Eggplant Parmigiana was good according to my husband with firm flavorful eggplant and sauce with wide pasta noodles and again, quite a bit of cheese. The casserole dishes could seriously burn you or your children, though. They are that hot and they stay hot. Just a word of caution. Last time we had a crackerjack waitress. Every step perfection and we tipped 20%. Today this young woman was sweet and compliant; but needs to improve. No straws with our water and then only a straw for me when I asked for one and she zoomed off. I laughed and told my husband he just wasn't quick enough. I realized into our entrees that we didn't have our drinks. We got those to go. I had wanted mine in a to go cup anyway; but not after my meal. Be sure and ask the price of the desserts if you decide you want one. Our lemon raspberry cheesecake torte was more than a lunch special! We had that to go. The food was good. The service could have been better. I like listening to the tinkling water fountain. We would go for the lunch specials, again, definitely. read more

This is a small, family owned diner with great quality service and food. I love that it's a BYOB place, allowing us to bring in our favorite beverages to enjoy with the great Italian food. I've been here a few times but on 10/12/19, I chose to celebrate my birthday here- little did I know I would be proposed to at this dinner. When I walked in, the tables had birthday table clothes and mini centerpieces- I thought a family member did this but the staff actually had this ready along with my reservation! This place serves up really decent Italian-American food, and I like that you can bring your own bottle of wine. My favorite dish is the tortellini with Canadian bacon in it. My husband loves the lasagna. We both love dipping the delicious homemade bread into the house dressing that comes with the salads. I love cafe Sicilia! My favorite pasta ever is the rigatoni vodka pasta. They sell that as a dinner portion and I don't mind it because I love it so much! They're portions are always big and always give free rolls when you're dining in and ordering to go. Every time I visit I always order rigatoni vodka and the spinach and artichoke dip. It came with bacon even though it's not on the menu. Online menu,yes; in person menu, no. Pasta came out waaay overcooked. Very mushy. Chicken was overcooked; dry and rubbery. We were sat toward the back. Table was so close to a cabinet that the staff insisted on having us move our chairs forward every time they walked by instead of going around. They are BYOB, so don't forget your wine!! After ordering they bring bread. The bread is in the shape of a cinnamon roll. The rolls were warm, buttery, and tasted fresh. I ordered eggplant Florentine. This was my first time trying eggplant Florentine so I didn't know what to expect. It is similar to eggplant Parmesan (my personal fav italian dish), but the eggplant is rolled up and stuffed with spinach. The dish is covered with marinara sauce and cheese. Great food, we started with some cheese sticks, just average but the marinara sauce was good not the out of the jar stuff so I knew the was going to be hand made not the generic Italian we get from all the "Joe's" places around town. I got the chicken rollatini it was a chicken breast will fresh mozzarella rolled up and pan fried served over pasta in a pick sauce, it also had veggies, it was really great. The rolls looked like The generic rolls that you get in most Italian places but they actually had flavor to them, we had to get extra they were so good. This was my first time here with one of my best friends. Juan, our server was one of the best servers I've had in a while!! Very great service and he checked on us from time to time, thanks Juan! I'm sorry, but I don't understand the hype about this place and I'm all for small businesses as I have a business. and I understand reviews are the biggest focal point of a business and so I just want to say this place was beautiful inside the staff were super friendly and helpful. But the food appeared to be good but as soon as we got home, maybe not even 10 minutes later my daughter was throwing up. My mother was sick to her stomach and later me and my son were sick of the same symptoms. I had to miss work and what makes it worse as I called to give feedback and all they said was we never had anybody have food poisoning from here of course you're gonna say that because you have to protect your image why would you tell a customer the truth. And I was waiting for some type of hay we can offer you a partial refund or maybe some type of other resolution we did not just spin $50 there it was $100+ It's not about the money. It's about the principal of it you as a business are responsible of resolving issues, especially if people have fallen severely sick from your food I will never recommend this place or ever step foot in it. read more

This is a really nice Italian cafe. The food was fantastic. I had the small supreme pizza (big enough for 2). It had a delicious crust and plenty of good toppings. My wife had the chicken rollatini. It was also very good. My granddaughter had the gluten free chicken Alfredo. She said it was delicious. Free fresh baked bread was served before the meal (also yummy). We split a cannoli for dessert. So my husband and I recently moved to the area and a friend told us to give this place a try. WOW!!! So good! We came for the first time on Wednesday and it was so good that we came back on Saturday! Twice in one week! First night we got the mozzarella sticks, seafood fettuccine & my husband built his own pasta with spaghetti Alfredo and chicken. The mozzarella sticks were ok but we probably won't order those again....THE PASTAS THO?!?!!! Wow!! Everything was beyond expectation. Hot, flavorful and filling. Saturday we got the spinach artichoke dip, tortellini Michelangelo and chicken rollatini. Again...food was amazing beyond expectation so at this point I knew I had to write a review. The spinach dip was exceptional....i don't know if I've ever had better in my 30 years of life. The pastas were really good but we decided that our Wednesday night pastas were our favorites so far. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and it is so creamy, rich and flavorful. Portion is great for the price. Really taste like homemade food from grandma's. My husband got the stromboli, it was def stuffed with lots of good stuff in it. Best one we have had in a very very long time. Calamari was crispy and delicious. MoIzzarella sticks weren't unique, but they weren't terrible. Glad it didn't taste like grease either! Get the pizza !!! Got the pepperoni pizza and I was not disappointed. The crust was crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. I was in pizza heaven ! On Sundays they have new specials that run for a week. I had a spinach dip special, the bacon is a little over powering the other flavors but if you love bacon, it'll be good!
