I have been wanting to try this place since I first saw a Raleigh foodie on IG post about them. My family and I had lunch in Cary so since we were in the area, I thought it was a perfect place to get dessert. The cafe is so cute when you walk in with a little couch to sit and a bookcase full of books and trinkets. They have a display of the things they offer right at the front counter so it's easy to see what they have. Unfortunately they had sold out of all the donuts by the time we got there so we weren't able to try those this time. We did get the fruit bingsoo, mitsugaru and almond croffle and chocolate croffle for my kids, and iced taro latte and white chocolate mocha for my parents. I also got the sweet potato yakgua for a to go treat because they're my favorite Korean snack. The bingsoo is my favorite Korean dessert so hands down gets a 10/10. It is shaved iced with condensed milk and was filled with strawberries, mango, blueberries on top and little pieces of mochi. The shaved ice was sweet and creamy and the fruit added its own sweetness and tart flavor so it balanced out. Mochi gets a little hard when it's cold so it was a bit hard and chewier but it was actually really good with the bingsoo and gave it texture. I love that they put fruit at the bottom and top so you have enough to finish the dessert. The croffles were delicious as well. They were soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The chocolate one was of course the kids favorite, very sweet and the whipped cream added a lightness to it. My favorite was the mitsugaru and almond one. I love almonds and anything with a light nutty flavor, and that's exactly what it gave me, nutty and sweet. The taro latte also gave a sweet and nutty flavor as well, and that's what I was expecting after reading about taro because I've never actually had it so it was a surprise for me and now I realize I love taro lol. It paired perfectly with the croffle. Although it was expensive (my dad spent about $50-$60) , I think it's a nice place to get a sweet treat once in awhile. I'll definitely come back here just to have the taro latte and bingsoo. Hopefully I'll be able to try the mochi donuts next time! read more

What a cute little shop! "Stumbled" upon them while out and about and grabbed a box of mochi donuts. They have a rotating menu of mochi flavors and this week was on point! Nice to see another Asian snack/ dessert place pop up. Soul Cups is Korean influenced & Carrie's mochi donuts, Korean hot dogs, bingsoo (shaved ice desserts) as well as coffees & teas. It's a small place with some seating & was very busy when we went there in the evening. Service was quick and efficient. We ordered 2 bingsoos. While they were both very good, they were quite a bit smaller than the other Asian shave ice places around town at the same price point. The bowls that are tin the pic is the size of larger Asian rice bowls to give you an idea. These were more of an individual portion size. Other places were much more generous & portions were shareable. Overall, this is still a great addition to the area that offers additional options. read more

Are you looking for bingsoo? Come on out to Cary!! Bingsoo is a Korean snocone-style dessert. I got the Black Sesame Snow Bingsoo. It's a flash-frozen oat milk snowy base with base topped with ground black sesame, house-made red bean, mochi, and a candied orange garnish. It was so cold my mouth took a while to warm up after. My daughter tried the fruit one, which was much less adventurous. They have all sorts of Korean treats like K-dogs and mochi donuts. Def try them out if you need to go on a taste adventure! It was really slow to make our bingsoo. We got one order at a time, so my daughter was pretty much done with hers before I got mine. The cafe is okay for decor, but they could step it up. There is some awareness of allergy ingredients. Lots of cross-contamination, though. I asked for oat milk, and they didn't clean the equipment, so I think I got lots of cow milk in mine, making me feel sick. read more

This place is gem in RTP! It serves actual bingsu where the shaved ice is made from milk. We got there around 2pm on a Saturday and the place was booming with people. The interior of the cafe is on the smaller side so the seats can fill up quickly. They have a variety of items on their menu so we sampled a few. All of them were spot on and delicious. The prices of the items are in line with other joints. We got: Fruit bingsu - $11 Mochi donuts (Earl Grey & S'mores) - $3.25 each Corn dogs (Ramen and standard) - $5.50 each The fruit bingsu was heavenly - sweet, light, and refreshing all at the same time. Perfect for a crazy 95 degree heated day. The mochi donuts were good and tasted like your typical standard mochi donut we've had around the triangle. The corn dogs were Korean style where the outer coating is made of mochi batter and sprinkled with sugar. They were enormous, scrumptious, and for 5 bucks they fill you up pretty good. This place is a gold mine in my eyes. It's located about a mile from my house. My love for bingsu and Korean corn dogs will see me frequenting this place very often. Walked in thinking it would be kinda quick ended up waiting 20 min for 2 corn dogs, there was no line the trash was full and smelled nasty asf there was a fruit fly flying around me and it was annoying and nasty that a place with people sitting around is that nasty and couldn't even keep up w the customers we ended up leaving and got a refund not coming back def not worth it especially if you wanna chill and relax there. had fruit bingsoo, potato k corndog and dubai chocolate late with a crackle cup and lavender matcha! it came to about $50 after tips, which is steeeep but expected these days and i thoroughly enjoyed the food/drinks and experience so im not mad about it. i sat on the comfy couch upfront to paint the food and it was relaxing. service was simple, took a bit of time but not an issue. dubai chocolate crackle cup was fun but i don't think id get it again. the matcha was great. bingsoo was $15 but super yummy and id probably get it again. the corndog was phenomenal and i got a great cheese pull out of it!! read more

New place that just opened a few weeks ago. Super nice ambiance you would expect from an asian dessert cafe. Their croffles are quite good. The puffy flakey texture in a waffle shape alongside a drizzle of syrup and chocolate chips were chef's kiss. Service was fast given there wasn't many people that know about this place. If it gets packed it could get hectic. Their bingsoo is on par with Meet Fresh's shaved ice. While Meet Fresh provides you with more toppings, shaved ice, what Soul Cups makes up for in quantity is the amount of cream and condensed milk in their shaved ice. Every bite you take will always be full of flavor and texture whereas by the time you are 2/3rds done with Meet Fresh's giant bowl, it has turned into a puddle of flavorless water. We had their Misutgaru Almond Bingsoo and it was filled with delightful crunch, nuttiness (some kind of sesame, peanut, almond powder). Personally I do prefer the Meet Fresh because you get more bang for your buck but this place is closer, so I will come here again. read more

really spectacular service, a lovely woman took my order and was so patient in answering any questions and my scatterbrained way of ordering. i ordered a Korean corn dog with potatoes and ketchup and a strawberry lemonade. My total was a little less than 17 dollars but in my opinion, TOTALLY WORTH IT. the corn dog came out about 10 minutes after ordering, they made my drink and corn dog to order. the corn dog was a 10/10 extremely filling and delicious! Took a field trip to unchartered section of Cary while running errands on a Saturday. Arrived early and the place looks like the regular patrons are there enjoying their selections. Surprisingly, no gluten free offerings. I ordered the white chocolate mocha which was tasty. Not sure what was sprinkled on top as I did not see any design. The price for the size was a little high and I would give a solid 3.5 stars for first try and visit. Perhaps another visit and the rating may change. Cafe Soul Cups in Cary is a charming coffee shop with friendly employees and a comfy lounge area and plenty of tables. They even have complimentary coloring books if you want to relax a bit while you enjoy a cup of coffee, or one of their many non-coffee drinks. We had a couple of their iced lattes and mochi donuts. I was impressed by the flavor of their espresso, provided by Counter Culture. On the day we went they had a selection of 6 flavors of mochi donuts, including black sesame and Lotus Biscoff. Cafe Soul Cups is a Korean style cafe and offers a great selection of other treats including bingsu (shaved ice), croffles (a croissant cooked on a waffle iron and topped with different flavors), Korean hotdogs, and even some Korean snacks, candy and canned drinks. I loved how our drinks were served in glasses on a tray, along with ceramic plates for our donuts. They even had reusable coasters for our drinks! Cafe Soul Cups is a welcome addition to Cary! Love the rotating flavors - and unfortunately I don't live full time in Cary to try them all.. but I'll be back every time I visit NC. I loved the fruit and almond bingsoo! And we get it ever time we've been and have not been disappointed. My niece was also a fan of the chocolate croffle. Recently came back from a trip to Korea and I was so blown away by the cafe culture over there and found myself missing certain items in Korean cafes that you just cant find in your regular neighborhood coffee shops. Then, came Cafe Soul Cups! This cafe is Korean owned and they serve a full coffee/espresso menu with some flavors have been looking for and could only find in Korea or major cities here in the US (like Black Sesame latte, mitsugaru latte, dalgona coffee, and sweet potato latte). They also have different kinds of Korean corndogs with beef sausage and mozzarella. The breading can get crazy--from fried potato cubes to crushed instant ramen breading to flaming hot cheetos! You have to try it for yourself and you'll never go back to good ole frozen corndogs again. Another delight they have are mochi donuts! We tried the espresso flavor and it was good and had a good balance of sweetness. The cafe is not very big but has enough seating for several groups, as well as a cozy nook with a couch, table, bookcase and some boardgames. The service is good and fast as well. I'd love to come again. They also sell Korean shaved ice (bingsoo) but I'll have to try those when the weather is warm again! read more

I tried the plain croffle and it was rather bad. First, it was not plain--it had syrup all over it. In my mind, that's not plain. The whipped cream tasted bad too. When I took a bite into the croffle, it had no flavor even with the maple syrup. Very disappointing. Won't go there again. read more
