This is place is a hidden gem. Wonderful menu with nice coffees, fresh squeezed orange juice, and delicious food. Service is prompt and friendly. She got me at fresh squeezed orange juice and the hand patted sausage patties reminded me of watching my grand mama in the kitchen cuz that sausage was straight Saturday morning, no school, watching Justice League type shit!! I never gave a fuck about cage free but gotdamn those eggs taste like the chicken coop is behind the restaurant!! The grits were creamy that bacon was to die for and the pancakes were like clouds with butter on top. There's a place called Brothers Juniper that I hit up every time I go to Memphis that has to be one of the best breakfast spots in the States ohhhh BUT STELIOS is on that ass to the point I feel like I'm cheating on my wife. This place is superb. Veteran waitresses. All very knowledgeable about the menu and clearly very proud of the food. And rightly so. I tried the multigrain pancakes on a whim and they were delicious. Just a slightly more toothsome and hearty version of a regular buttermilk pancake. Farm fresh eggs, homemade sausage patties, hot toast freshly buttered in the kitchen so the butter is all melty. I have been there a few times before and really like the food and service and have taken a group of Red Hat Society women before and all was fine. This past Saturday 4/13/2024 was absolutely horrible. Arrived at 10:00 am waitress brought water and did not return until we flagged her dow 30 minutes later. We ordered and our food came an hour later luke warm and eggs almost cold, not as ordered and the grits for one lady were watery. I understand there was a rush that came in but no one came over to say anything, apologize or acknowledge us. We just sat there. The 9 ladies in our group all asked for "to-go" containers as it was too long waiting and the food was cold, burnt or unacceptable. EVERYONE STILL PAID FOR THEIR FOOD! The onwner did not want to hear any complaints and said out loud "your whole table has issues and does not want to pay. This is where I stopped her and asked that she not spread this untruth and she said "I'm done talking and walked away. Our waitress was working both sides and left us unattended for long periods of time, did not bring what we requested and had to be found and repeatedly asked for service. We normally collect and give a generous tip but all declined.I will be thinking hard about giving it another try because I do like the Avacodo Toast but this was a very negative experience. read more

I came to this restaurant because it was supposedly gluten friendly according to many online reviews. Apparently they have a new menu which removed the gluten free options. Not only do they have no gluten free options, but they would not even substitute fruit for an up charge in place of toast or pancakes I physically can't eat (both of which cost more on the menu than the fruit!) The waitress seemed to be empathetic but the owners (or manager, I'm not sure which) did not seem to care in the least that I have a literal gluten allergy (celiacs) and cannot eat it without puking. read more

They lice it...it's really family friendly and the waitress is always real nice to me and loves the boys. Came here last week, the menu offers new flavors and interesting combinations. Had the lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes they were tremendous!!! Homemade sausage patties were very good. My husband and I stopped in today for a late breakfast. I got the avocado toast: sourdough toast, cream cheese, diced tomatoes, avocado, spinach, poached eggs with a balsamic drizzle. He got the Greek toast: sourdough toast, cream cheese, diced tomatoes and green peppers, avocado, with poached eggs, feta cheese, kalamata olives and a balsmic drizzle. All I can say is wow! I was only expecting one piece of toast but we both received two huge slices topped with everything I listed above. We honestly could have just split one order between the two of us because of how much food we received. Eggs were poached perfectly and all of the toppings were very fresh. This is the third time we've stopped by Cafe Stelios, and I can say that 2/3 visits have been excellent. The last time we were here our food was overcooked, but I'm very glad we gave it another shot. This place has a casual vibe and decor, and is very clean. All the employees are friendly and the service has been consistently good despite the food being a little inconsistent. Our server today was very quick to refill coffee and check on us periodically. I think it's important to note they did a good job with social distancing. Loved that they carry Lavazza coffee. Definitely did not like being told "no" when I asked for a side order of french toast. Waitress stated I had to order the full menu item which is ridiculous. The food was great and she was pleasant, but I don't like being told "No", specially when it comes to my food. Management should reconsider the side orders. read more

Portion was generous with hashbrowns on a side. Good coffee which is a deal breaker for me when it comes to breakfast. Our waiter was great, - attentive, caring, pleasant. Also other serving staff were really team players taking empty plates from the tables that were not their customers, offering coffee, etc. I gave four stars for unprofessional greeting when we entered the door. Perhaps hostess was not there yet or went somewhere. We stood there until some lady at the register hastly yelled "could somebody seat them?" And then an older waitress was perplexed where to take us. It was early morning, it wasn't crowded, so I think this was unnecessary although I know serving staff takes turns for their tables to be seated. I was excited to try cafe stelios because it had great reviews. My first impressions entering in the place was clean, modern and looked fairly new. I ordered the eggs benedict classic, which I do not normally order yolked eggs with the exception of eggs benedict. They were ok, the ham and english mufflin both were cold. They were flavorful and there were really nice options (traditional and unique options. The breads tasted homemade and they have a full coffee bar with chai and sugar free syrup. We tried Stelios for the first time last weekend. We are going back this weekend. The food and service were great. Our server(Doranda??) was very knowledgeable of the menu. She was very friendly and gets 5+ stars. I ordered Chicken fried steak. It was delicious. The gravy was perfect, seasoned well and it had a great consistency. My eggs were exactly as I ordered them-over medium. My husband had the Everything omelet. It was full of ingredients. It was large and cooked well. They serve Lavazza coffee. The fresh OJ was perfect too. I got a side of pancakes, my husband had rye toast. The pancakes were by far the best I've had in the area. They were fluffy and didn't disintegrate when the real maple syrup was poured on. I ordered a lemon rice soup to go. I had it for lunch the next day, it was amazing as well. We will definitely be going back. The only reason I'm not going for a full 5 star, is the hash browns. You have the option for hash browns or red potatoes. We both ordered hash browns, extra crispy. They were no where near crispy. I guess I should have said one level below burnt. We will try the red potatoes next time.
