One of the better restaurants in Plymouth. Cozy ambiance. Professional and attentive service. Amazing food. I went for the Salmon special last night. Hearty and healthy meal. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Soooo we were sitting at a local bar on Plymouth Harbor and asked a local where was a good place to eat and Scott told us about Cafe Strega and boy was he right ! We made a reservation, but on a cold Thursday night we didn't need one. Our waitress Ashley was super nice , professional and recommended dishes that we loved ! Scallops , clams and linguine, sausage and spaghetti, chicken Parm, veal parm and eggplant and pasta ! And the desserts were homemade and fantastic ! Great place for a family dinner !

I have been going to Café Strega since I was young. When you think of a restaurant where you feel like home, I think of Café Strega. For the longest time, this has been our venue for every celebration. Not only is it is an amazing restaurant, but we have so much history and memories built in. It is a place that every single one of my family members and friends love going to. When we show up, we are always taken care of. The restaurant manager, Zura-we consider family. For example, recently my family lost our grandfather who was the heart of our family. When Zura and the gang found this out, they knew we had come in right after the services and they took very good care of us, sending their condolences and also sending over a limoncello to our table. This is your classic, Italian style restaurant that just feels like home. It is right on Main Street in downtown Plymouth and is settled right above Brewster Gardens, so you have that beautiful view when you sit down. Strega has two levels. The top level is where the restaurant and bar area is where the second level Is where the bathrooms are and a space to rent out for events. The second level has an outdoor patio as well. Anything that you get to eat here will be delicious, they also always have specials that are in rotation that are delicious as well. They have a great selection of meat, seafood, and pasta dishes as well as delicious salads and appetizers. Their bartenders are phenomenal and they are known for their classic martini and espresso martini. If you can go on a night when Caryn is working, You will not be disappointed. She makes one mean martini. You will not be disappointed. The pours are generous and the olives are delicious. This restaurant, of course because it is fine dining tends to be on the pricier side, but it is well worth every dime. You can find street parking, or park in the lot right across from the restaurant. Typically Café Strega will open around 4 o'clock and it is definitely recommended to make a reservation. This is the kind of place where, no matter what mood you are in - you will leave happier and way more full! Whether you are local to town or a tourist, Café Strega is a definite staple for dinner and drinks.

My new favorite Italian Restaurant. PRO: small;…read morequiet-background music very low key. The accoustics are excellent. You can actually have a conversation with your dinner partner!!!! Big plus; The food is delicious with daily specials that include some small plate offerings; Ceasars salad is a 10; can I mention again that you aren't competing with background music and noise! We ususally dine there early and the staff is one. She is lovely, friendly and efficient. I don't know how she manages. If you are looking for a quick in and out for dinner, this isn't the restaurant for you. If you are looking for an enjoyable dining experience without feeling rushed and they are waiting for you to vacate the table, this place is for you. The decor not fancy and if you like booths, quiet atmosphere and friendly people, I highly recommend this restaurant. Parking is the only issue. Parking is available on the street. I think TOSCANA 's is loosing a lot of business because of this glitch. It should be removed from their website. PS Tuesday nights is music bingo. I have to admit we had a lot of fun. Wasnt expecting that.

Portions were a little small. I ordered salt salmon with risotto and it was so greasy and bad. I didn't eat it but it got the chicken marsala and that was delicious. Small portions but so so good definitely will be back. The waitress was sweet in the atmosphere was OK. A little weird small inside with one waitress doing everything but other than that definitely a good place.

The vibe was lively and inviting. Finally got to try the composed oyster--I enjoyed ONE and that was enough. About 25 tables, but not tightly packed. Felt like an Italian restaurant where you might just share with the table nearest you. I could order nearly anything on the menu. Awesome and terrible with a time crunch! We started with the focaccia bread, which was delicious. We saved some and I'm eating it now. Then it was Splitsville: I mean we split a salad, bolognese and chicken parm. Garden/House Salad was described as fresh, what the kitchen could get, flavorful and colorful. It was all those things and didn't disappoint. Chicken parm was not fried. Was Bell & Evans chicken breast not beat to hell. Was plump, juicy and flavorful. Maybe the best I've ever had. Bolognese was equally good. I'm glad we split everything so we could each try a number of different options. We were out on time and never felt rushed if you can believe it. Excellent service and pacing to go with the excellent food.
