Don't go here for the food (and wine). The ambience was very quaint and cozy. The service was impeccable. The food and wine were mostly bad. The mixed greens salad was great, and I'm thinking, "The other courses must be fabulous." I couldn't wait. We ordered cioppino, which looked and tasted like seafood swimming in unseasoned tomato sauce -- not a "creamy tomato broth," as it's described on the menu. Where was the garlic? Or any of the herbs that make a great cioppino? The wine was meh, and the tiramisu was bland and way too cold. What a disappointment. I'm a Park City local and I've dined here for almost 30 years. Recently my family and I decided to treat ourselves to lunch on the patio as it's nicely shaded in the warm weather and a great spot for people watching on Main Street. Fortunately that hasn't changed but unfortunately the food has gone downhill. I tried to order my old favorite the risotto and usually they'll make it for me as it was taken off the menu years ago...not this time, oh well. My husband ordered the shrimp and basil pizza. The dough was thick and chewy and the shrimp meh. My daughter ordered the chicken salad which used to be a winner. Not sure when they began adding copious amounts of red onion and peppers but it definitely did not improve the dish. I had the salmon which was pretty good. The service was fine. Fabulous on so many levels. We arrived about 10 minutes prior to our reservation and seated immediately. The food!!! The homemade ricotta cheese is off the charts. For dinners we had the lamb (fabulous), the duck pasta and the bolognese all sooo good. Literally left nothing on our plates. Ended up ordering desserts, because when it's been this good how can we not?! All amazing as well. Could not recommend more. If you come to Deer Valley and don't come here it's a huge miss. My husband & I, and another couple had lunch on a rainy day in Park City. When we arrived, restaurant was full but emptied mid-meal. My GF and I are vegan. There isn't anything vegan, but the more important issue was the rudeness of the waitress as we tried to find something to eat. She said the restaurant was "too busy" to accommodate our request. I ended up ordering the salmon salad, hold the salmon, hold the dressing that wasn't vegan. They still charged $18 for lettuce, avocado and oil & vinegar. My GF ordered salad, hold the meat- but then charged $13 for added avocado & artichokes. THERE ARE MANY VEGANS IN THE WORLD. Wake up! And the rudeness is unacceptable. read more

Went to Cafe Terigo thinking it would be a great dinner option on a special occasion. We usually can't afford places as expensive as this spot ($25-$60 for entrees, $7-$20 for drinks) but decided to go after getting engaged. The ambiance and service were great 4-5 stars no doubt. The menu was smaller than I like with fewer options but in most cases that's probably a good thing. The disappointment came when our food did. The fresh, local ingredients and house made pasta sounded amazing and tasted just slightly better than typical chain americanized Italian restaurants but yet the price and portion size reflected something worth savoring. I would be hard pressed to pay $15 for the 5 ravioli plate let alone $25+. Huge disappointment based on my experience visiting them. read more

Why fiancé and I went to Cafe Terigo for our Valentines day dinner. The staff were very helpful and played along with my special request. As a joke I asked to be called "The Commander" and when our waiter came out he said, "Welcome to Cafe Terigo ma'am and The Commander". We all laughed it off and the waiter was very knowledgeable of the specials and menu. Our food was good except for one particular thing. My fiancé is a vegan and they advertise vegan options. However, they only had one dish that could be made vegan by removing a few items from the dish. This was a bummer because we felt we were misinformed by the restaurant. My meal was the Lam Chops which were AMAZING. Super tender and also with a little bark on the outside. The atmosphere of the restaurant is casual and nice. There were people dressed in ski clothes and people in nicer dresses and suits. The lighting was a little low, but wasn't too much of an impediment. Overall we liked our experience, I ended up giving it 4-stars because of the vegan options and misinformation. read more

We ate here on October 10th, 2016. We started with the signature Cherry Manhattan ($11). The "Utah size pour" is apparent but it is quite good. Next we had the Artichoke ($12) and this was delicious. The heart wasn't included but the leaves were tasty with the accompanying dip. Recommended. I opted for the Seafood Risotto ($37) The portion was very good. The scallop was delicious as well as the shrimp but I found the mussels to be very gritty. Overall a good dish and I would order it again even though there was no WOW factor about it. Good but not awesome. My wife had the Bolognese ($28). We both enjoy this dish and it's a regular choice for us here. With dinner we totally enjoyed and recommend the Fisher Unity Cabernet 2013 ($59). Just delicious! I am very disappointed with the 20% gratuity automatically added for our party of two and this percentage included the $18.31 tax amount. The service was very good but I totally disagree with this being done and especially including the tax in the gratuity. Overall a good PC restaurant with a Main Street location price tag. read more

3.5 Stars for me! One afternoon on our week long vacation in Park City, UT, we decided to check out Main Street. We ended up eating at Cafe Terigo since there was no wait at the restaurant for our party of six. The restaurant was about 2/3 full and many parties came to eat at this restaurant during our meal. Their bread was warm and we requested butter for the bread otherwise it's olive oil and vinegar. Their bread had some cheese baked into it. For lunch, I had the Penne pasta with traditional veal bolognese sauce ($13). It was very good, but I wasn't expecting the creamy sauce. I enjoyed my lunch, but my stomach was slightly less happy. We were super excited to try this place especially since it was our anniversary. A long story short, we were disappointed. The appetizers were actually really yummy which is why I am giving it two stars. The service is what the problem was for us. We sat for 15 minutes waiting just for our drinks (water and a coke). Perhaps if I ordered alcohol they would have been more interested in my business. Anyways, I continually kept running out of water and had to refill my glass using my husbands water glass. We thought maybe we were just hangry and that's why we were unhappy with the service originally, however it did not get better and only got worse. We heard another table behind us being told about the specials but there was no mention to us about them at all. Then after we were done with our apps they asked if we wanted bread whereas all the other tables had already received bread. Then we received our meals which were warm and had definitely been sitting out for a while. I'm sad to say, but I won't be returning to eat my noodle patty. read more

This is some of the best food I've ever had in Utah. I know that's a pretty dramatic statement but dang this place has yet to have a fault for me. It's more than five stars in my book. Most restaurants have hit or miss menu items, and that's typical. But Cafe Terigo hits a homerun on every single thing we ordered during our visit. And we ordered a lot. We started with calamari and baby onion rings. Calamari, PERFECT. Nice and crispy outside with the best chew of calarmi without it being rubbery. Don't underestimate the baby onion rings, the berry ketchup is so good I could DRINK IT. It's the perfect balance of an appetizer. The table ordered and sampled each other's entrees which consisted of Veal and Pork Bolognese, the pork tenderloin on the menu at the time, and the halibut and angel hair pasta special. The Bolognese is HOUSE MADE pasta, need I say more? Perfectly executed pasta. They put the TENDER in the pork tenderloin dish. The mashed potatoes were delectable. And the halibut special was sooooo amazing and refreshing. The halibut had a crispy crust and the fish was perfectly cooked. The angel hair pasta was a simple lemon and arugula mix that was the perfect accompaniment. The server was SO nice too. She was super accommodating, went the extra mile, put up with our obnoxiously loud big party, and was just like our best friend during our meal. I know Yelp lists this as Italian, but I would consider it as more Mediterranean. My duck confit was lovely, accompanied by al dente Brussels sprouts, butternut squash risotto and tart/sweet cherries--altogether a yummy and comforting winter dish. My man's smoked chicken fettuccini was equally satisfying. Thanks to Lindsay for providing friendly and knowledgeable service. Atmosphere/decor quite attractive as was our view onto the festive light-filled walkway. I wish my espresso had come along with the excellent bread pudding; really the only off moment. This restaurant charged me $125 for a reservation I cancelled. As I was making the reservation, my husband told me we couldn't drive there because it was snowing too hard. I hit CANCEL. 90 minutes later I got a text from the restaurant saying my table was ready. I called and said I had cancelled the reservation. They told me if I didn't come in, they were charging me $125. I told them I couldn't make it in even if I wanted to because of the weather. They essentially said they didn't care and charged me. This was a reservation I made (AND CANCELLED) for 90 minutes prior to dining time. This wasn't me holding a table for weeks and then not showing up. I called and tried speaking with the owner, sent emails, and they stood by the charge. I am all about integrity and doing the right thing and I feel robbed. read more

The food was overpriced and all was tasteless. They are running scam a business. By adding 20 percent tip with out even letting us know. They also charged us 50 dollars for "not showing up to our reservation" even though we were late by 3 minutes and we showed up. One of the pastas we had was the sauce was watery and no taste. The food mostly taste like I was eating out of a dumpster like dumpster diver would. My family is French Italian so we thought this would be a good place but not. The cafe looked very quaint from the outside; a side patio with gas burning heater on a cool evening looked inviting. There were a group of women who entered ahead of me and told me they herd the place was very good, so decided to try. I was asked outside or in for seating. I replied outside if can be seated by a heater. I was not seated that close to one. I was shortly greeted and poured a glass a water. I read the menu and drink menu twice, sat for a long time while patiently waiting. I saw a server walking around and helping other guests. He never looked at me, so assumed he was not my server. The restaurant looked only about 30% full. He finally came to my table. I was surprised that he had not even said to me earlier, I'll be with you shortly or something. He was pleasant, stated the specials. I inquired about a dish, he really did not give details on it other than it was a robust portion. So, I ordered while he was there because I was not sure when he would be back. Ordered the Cioppino and a glass of Sangiovese red wine. I went to the restroom . On the way, inside was quaintly decorated and the smell was wonderful! When I returned my glass of wine was delivered. There was a couple across from me who commented it was getting chilly. My server gave the woman a blanket. How nice. I was delivered some bread and shortly after my food arrived from anther server. It smelled yummy and was delicious. It was a decent portion, but not huge. Delivered in a large bow with a pice of crusted toasted bread topped with basil aioli, as described. There were 3 muscles in the shell, one large scallop, and multiple chunks of salmon and halibut in a creamy non spicy tomato thick broth. It was very good. It did not taste like a tomato soup. The thick the tomato sauce complimented the seafood. I ate a little more than half, finished my wine and sat for awhile waiting for my server. Again, he was around, never once checked on me. Other servers were around, I caught ones attention as they walked by to ask for a container and to let my server know I would like my check. She brought back the container, but not the check and I don't think she told my server. As he was walking by me, I asked him for my check. He stopped by another table after to check on them. The host seated two young women in a table next to me. He offered to turn on a second gas heater for their comfort. By now, I'm really feeling neglected like the red herring in the restaurant. Why was I not offered a blanket, not asked if I was ok, not offered the heater close to me be turned on? My server returned shortly with my check I asked him not to leave and gave him my credit card since I was already waiting long enough. I was getting chilly prior to the other table being seated, but at least now, I was feeling a little bit of the warmth from the closer second heater. So, why was I not treated a equally as a larger group?, A single middle aged business woman just wanting a nice dinner, was my presence not worth the service? Had I received better service, I might have ordered a second glass of wine, an appetizer or a desert. But, since my server interacted with me a total of 3 times, the restaurant lost business. Worst dining experience ever. Actually it I can't even call it a dining experience as we never received any food. We arrived on time at 2:15pm for our lunch reservation, knowing the restaurant closes for lunch at 2:30pm. The inside of the restaurant was less than half full. After 15 minutes of being ignored, we finally got some water and our drink order taken. Just drinks. I received my iced tea promptly and asked for bread. 15 minutes later, we got our bread and the other 3 drinks after flagging down the waiter and asking for them. 15 minutes for 2 lemonades and a can of coke. Our waiter Jad took our food order at 2:45pm. At 2:55pm, he comes back to tell us that the kitchen closed at 3pm and we wouldn't be able to get any food. When I mentioned that it wasn't quite 3pm yet, he said that it actually closed at 2:30pm. Obviously we were upset at sitting in a restaurant for 45 minutes with terrible service, just to be told to leave. I went out front to talk to Carlos who was in charge and asked him how this could happen and he pretty much told us sorry, there's nothing he could do. I asked why our reservation was accepted and we were seated at 2:15pm if he knew we couldn't actually order before the kitchen closed. He said he sat us and just assumed our waiter would get our order in. No accountability. No offer of a gift card or a true apology. Just a shrug and I don't know what to tell you. Had lunch this past Thursday (8/20/2030). Walked in around 1pm, took our info and sent text when table was ready. Ordered the chicken salad, onion rings and flatbread (all on the menu). Also had a dinner salad (not on the menu) which was outstanding and our favorite of the four items. Chicken salad was least favorite as the amount of bell pepper in the preparation was extreme. This is a fine example of the kind of restaurant that is four stars in a skiing town. Service is subpar. The food is ok it not great; the best thing on the menu was the tomato soup. Staff and manager were largely indifferent that we there, owing to the fact that you can put up a sign and have a full reservation list and four stars in this town bereft of dining options of quality. They had a lamb special that they pitched us at the bar before sitting and at the table so four members of our seven ordered. Ten minutes later we find out they are out. The other options are scant so six of the seven of us tried their bolognese, but it is the most anti-typical Bolognese pasta ever. Really not proper. (Mgmt, please check how tomatoes and garlic are to be used or not used.). Wine options were limited and they threw us out promptly at their "closing" (when most restaurants would let you hang out and have a drink. No doubt this restaurant does well but it's success belies the poor food options of Park City. read more

Now, first of all I would not have even taken a second look at this place if I'd read the LUNCH menu. It was underwhelming at best especially if you're gluten and/or dairy intolerant. If you're a rabbit you MIGHT enjoy it ... but even a rabbit wouldn't be overly excited. I mentioned my unfortunate food allergies to the waiter so when we asked about the risotto, he mentioned it was made with heavy cream. Wasn't too impressed with him as He came back to the table with dinner rolls & took our order. I ordered the Torigo chicken salad .. the waiter asked if I wanted it on greens or PASTA ... ???? So much for mentioning your food allergies. My husband ordered the risotto which was drowned in heavy cream like the waiter had mentioned , which as a decent home cook ‍ I can tell you I've never made risotto with heavy cream ... nor have I ever had it anywhere made with cream. It's primarily made with a stock. Can't say we were overly impressed. Not much of any other ingredients in it either. I had the salad hold the onions thank god! It had sweet peppers in it which apparently meant green bell peppers YUCK and lots of them. The snow peas were chopped up and some slivers of carrots and some sliced ordinary chicken. I have had more exciting salad from Wendy's ... you know how you always say you can't make a salad as good as they do in a restaurant - well you could this one - easily I wished I looked at the menu first .. we would not have gone here.
