Coffee was not good, also not enough ice. The food we got also was very bland, and looked nothing like the picture. Probably would not come back to this place, everything looks better in the pictures

The entrance is a little small and it's right next to the gentleman's club don't be intimidated they are so friendly and chill over here! Clean, plenty of seating. The food can be on the greasier side depending what you order but this will cure any hangover any day. Perfect first day breakfast in Cali, more than enough for 2 people.

Did *not* expect to find matcha drinks, much less several different kinds, at this casual Mexican cafe interestingly located next to a strip club! Ordered the Horchata Matcha (in-house horchata, matcha) as honestly it just seemed the most fitting choice, and it was an excellent study in contrasting yet complementary flavors. It was near closing when we arrived, and staff was already starting to stack chairs, but didn't rush us out. My one piece of constructive criticism would be to update *all* menus, as the one we saw showed my drink as being of a significantly larger size than what I actually received. A different menu later confirmed the reduced size, but the confusion shouldn't have happened in the first place...

This place never fails. It has sweet sugary delicious drinks (for a sweet treat) not an everyday coffee lowkey. That Birria burrito issss to diiieee for! It's so incredibly delicious and flavorful. Tortilla is chefs kiss. Staff is always friendly & they usually don't take long to get your order out. I haven't dined in so I can't comment on that experience, but I enjoy grabbing takeout from this establishment! I've gone a few times and it always hits the spot!

I had the chance to try this wonderful place out in Cathedral City, my friend has been sharing his breakfast burrito and coffee photos with me so I had to give them a try. I tried the Jalapeños popper smash burger. OMG this burger isn't nothing regular, it comes with Crispy edged smash patty, molten jalapeño popper cheese , their house bacon jam that was so amazing on a toasted bun, with a side of tater tots. The burger was amazing all the ingredients and flavors pairs perfectly. The decor was great as well and the customer service was a 10. I will be back soon to try the other dishes they have on the menu.

My husband and I came out to the Cathedral City/Palm Springs area for a little getaway to relax, and while searching for a nearby coffee spot, we stumbled across Cafecito Calaveras and we are SO glad we did! Their matchas were honestly some of the best we've ever had. We tried the horchata matcha, which was incredibly flavorful and perfectly balanced, and the blueberry matcha, which was also delicious and refreshing. For food, we ordered the CC Burrito and added carne asada, absolutely amazing! Everything was packed with flavor, and the tater tots on the side were the perfect addition. The salsa deserves its own shoutout because it was THAT good. The customer service was excellent too. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the whole vibe made us want to come back... which we did the very next day! This time we tried the tres leches espresso and the iced churro espresso, and both drinks were incredible. We'll definitely be coming back on future trips and referring friends and family!

Small, out of the way coffee place with great desserts and Mexican breakfast and lunch specialties. The variety of coffee drinks is unique and inviting. My Mexican Mocha with Abuelita Chocolate was delicious. Olla-Chota with Horchata was good, and very sweet. People were friendly and helpful. Small but pleasant seating area inside.

Summary: Excellent Burrito but a little pricey. El Huevón Burrito: 9.3/10 this was dare I say one of the best breakfast burritos I've had. The thick cut bacon was crispy yet chewy. The chorizo was fatty and a little spicy and the potato soaked up all those flavors. There was also a cheese skirt on the inside of the burrito that added such a nice texture. The salsa was also gasolina! Spicy, acidic very tasty. I just wish it were bigger for $11

Scrambled eggs cooked to perfection! Coffee was so good aswell

100/10 please make tutorial on how you cook your eggs, best I've had not kidding. Coffee was perfect and service was so kind and efficient !

So I went to this little place on my lunch. It's small. They share the business with the tamales spot. They were very nice. Two ladies and a gentleman were there. We ordered the 24 ounce Dulce de Calavera iced coffee latte excellent! I also ordered the Birriaquiles, they were out of carne asada, so my husband ordered El huevon burrito... so the Birriaquiles were smashed in a container, they tasted ok but I couldn't see what I was eating. I'm all about presentation and I like to see what I'm eating my husband's burrito with tasty but very small for the price, I would probably go back just for the coffees; and maybe if they got bigger containers, I try something else to eat , so you could see what you're eating‍

It was close to end of day so I was quick to browse the offerings before placing my sandwich order. Ended up getting a Caprese and Parma on focaccia. The staff seemed preoccupied with Cleaning but did their best to get my sandwich order out fast. I've heard nothing but good things about this place but this is my first time. I asked the lady behind the counter for a popular favorite recommendation and she seemed confused and just said everything was good. Two sandwiches around $40 so I was hoping for something great. Unfortunately we agreed that the taste was good, but nothing amazing and probably not what we were expecting for the price. Everything fell just a little bit flat. It wasn't bad but it wasn't memorable either. I ended up drizzling balsamic vinegar on the Caprese at home since they only put olive oil and a little bit of pesto on the bread and the whole thing just felt lacking ever so slightly. The shop itself was clean and well kept and had a lot to offer so I still recommend stopping by and browsing for Italian goodies. Just not my favorite sandwich spot. Maybe we will try something else another day or just stick to the pasta!

It's about a 12min drive west of I-10, located in a small business park strip mall. It's absolutely worth the diversion. They have a small section with groceries, and a larger area with refrigerated goods. I tried El Cubano (no tomato, no cabbage), Potato Salad, and Key Lime Parfait. El Cubano was actually delicious. Their thinly sliced and seasoned seitan was perfect, as was the accompanying sauces and toasted bread. I'd order this on repeat if I lived nearby. I was surprised by how great the potato salad was. It had the perfect mayo/mustard balance, which is extremely difficult to find. I need a gallon of this. The key lime parfait was ok. I expected more (in terms of flavor, not quantity), but it was not bad. I've just had much better so I wouldn't order it again. I'd be willing to try a different dessert next time. It was gluten free so that's a plus! There were many other things on the menu that caught my eye, but I only have one tummy. Wifey enjoyed her mini burger...and it was the perfect size. The bun was fresh and held up well, which is always important. I went off the board and wanted just a simple plain burger patty, because I wasn't too hungry. But that's one of the best ways to judge quality. No bells no whistles. Just the beef...and a knife & fork. Like a good steak. It was tender & juicy and I was a very happy camper. h2O was all we needed on this night...and refills were fulfilled voluntarily. With a recent expansion to their space in Cathedral City, this location has become a gathering place for Filipinos in the Coachella Valley area. Thus we went out of our way to find this place for dinner. I found it to be mixed, and can't really recommend their food. It's a nice space inside, with a fast casual setup (order and pay first, and the food is brought to you when ready). It wasn't particularly friendly when we first arrived to the empty restaurant, but it got better as we ordered and ate. Cheesesteak Philly Style ($15.99) and Apong's Special Philly Style ($16.99). They come with fries, with an upcharge of $1 for cheese. Both had grilled mushrooms and onions mixed with the chopped steak. The Apong's special adds both cheese whiz and american cheese to the standard provolone. Both are served on Amoroso rolls from Philadelphia, which is genuine, but not particularly fresh when brought in daily. (the rolls tasted a bit stale to me). The amount of meat given could induce a hungry person to order a double portion as well, though it was just right this day. I definitely like my cheese steak with cheese whiz, and this version confirmed that (though if not offered, a good dallop of mayo is good as well, mixed with the melted provolone). Strangely, the showstring fries were the most disappointing part of the meal for me...fries can be good if the right effort is made, but that wasn't the case here. They had been deep fried a while before, and had been sitting in a warmer until served to us...thus were dried out and pretty flavorless. With what we ordered, a new batch of freshly made fries would have gone a long way to put us in a good mood, especially for dine-in. Chicken Mami Soup ($14.99) - a large bowl of chicken soup. For this price, would have hoped for something more homemade. The broth was fine, but seemed to be made from either canned chicken broth (benefit of doubt) or more likely chicken powder. Also used dried spaghetti noodles, which is not something I seek out. It did have pieces of white meat (breast) and fresh chopped vegetables like cabbage and carrots. Tasted fine, but wasn't particularly hearty. Reminded me very much of saiman, except for the price. Halo-Halo ($14.99) - it was good. Few beans (which is often used as filler), but instead large pieces of sweet plantains. It also had plenty of condensed milk and two large scoops of ice cream (both ube and vanilla). Used crushed ice, instead of shaved, which does make a big difference in consistency, but understand it's harder to do since time consuming. Apong means grandmother in Ilicano, which is the third most spoken native language in the Philippines, after Tagalog and Cebuano. The owners and workers seemed to be originally from that region; and it's really nice to use such a nice term of endearment for their endeavor.
