Being a small town you have a chance running into someone you know, and honestly the last thing I want to do in the morning before coffee or tea is getting stuck talking. I have been coming here for years and have always loved the staff as well as the coffee. We have a family owned business up the street so trust me when I say buy local is so important and making your customers feel like part of you family is even more important! The short petite blonde is one of the rudest people I have encountered in a very long time. She acts as if you are a complete inconvenience and wasting her time. Super friendly staff and fast service for only two workers. This place is family and locally owned. I love bringing my business to them instead of the liberal Starbucks. All of their hot coffee's are amazing. Their ice coffee is good four out of five times I get it. Sometimes the ice coffee taste like dirt, but it is a rare occurrence. The only other complaint is the hot coffee cups will fall apart at the top and start leaking sometimes. read more

I much prefer to solicit locally owned coffee joints to the large corporate chains. Having moved out to the country recently I discovered this place that just happens to be a quick stop off the freeway on my way to work or into town. They have a large selection of brews and yummy concoctions that I am still tasting my way thru. This little joint is just literally a box on the side of the road but it's clean, fast and the girls behind the counter are generally very customer service oriented. It has always been my preference to spend my money at a "mom and pop" shop instead of a company chain and yes, Starbucks is down the street but it ain't drive thru and this coffee is better. The prices are a bit cheaper and the baked goods, although not homemade are still fresh and yummy. I always order a Soy Chai Latte, extra hot, no foam but have had regular lattes as well, always with an extra shot. I think the last time I was there they were still not taking CC/atm cards but if that ever changes, I bet your traffic will pick up immensely. Keep up the good work! read more

This is one of my favorite coffee places, if not my most favorite. My son and I have been here just a handful of times, and every time, the staff makes the most amazing beverages. There's an option to drive thru or walk up. We have done both. We have become addicted to the vanilla blended frap. Try it! Super friendly folks, and always smiling. We even got a treat for our pup. Went there this morning. They ran out of brewed coffee (on ALL their selections) at 7AM, they were in the process of making more. However, I had already been in line for five minutes and instead of someone coming out and telling customers it may be awhile due to needing to make more coffee, they let everyone wait. I had to ask when I got to the front and kept waiting for my coffee. In the morning, time and convenience are important for people that are going to work. Needless to say I left with no coffee. How does a coffee shop run out of ALL their selections of brewed coffee at 7AM anyway? You see it getting low, you make more. BEFORE it runs out. May not be giving them another try. read more

This review is long overdue! I LOVE this place! High quality coffee/espresso. Great flavor and Milk choices. Fast and friendly service. And you don't have to get out of your car! I love this place! Here in Alpine, we don't have many options as far as coffee shops are concerned but that doesn't matter because we have one great coffee stand! Having spent the majority of my working life in the coffee business, I can easily say that I am a coffee snob. So far, café Adesso has not let me down. They are fast, friendly, and know their way around an espresso machine. I only go out for coffee when I am out at home or want a special treat. Since my standards are pretty high, I usually order drinks that can't be messed up like an iced mocha. At Café Adesso, they use high quality coffee and know how to brew it. I don't have to stick to my "safe" drink, the iced mocha. I feel confident ordering brewed coffee, iced coffee, Americanos, and cappuccinos, because I know that they will be made the right way. My only complaint is a minor one. So minor that I can't take away a star but feel like I have to mention it. Whenever I go to Café Adesso, they are out of banana muffins!!! Like I said, I don't go out for coffee often but when I do, I like to order my coffee and a banana muffin. Luckily, they have a great selection of pastries so I can find something else that I like but I would be one happy camper if I could get my coffee and a banana muffin! read more

I have been going to Adesso for several years now and I still Love them! The girls working in the morning know who my kids are and always ask them how they are and Q's based on past conversation. They are always trying to get you through as quick as possible by coming out and taking your order so it's ready by the time you get to the window. I have ordered several different drinks,which are all very good, but I always go back to my regular... White Chocolate Mocha, Iced, Non-fat, no whip. The only downfall is sometimes I REALLY want a coffee but I don't have any cash...they don't take debit/credit cards. As an upside, they have punch cards so after you fill one up you get a FREE coffee of your choice...however you want it and in the size you want!!!! read more

I stop by here after work a couple days a week after work for an italian soda. Therrisa is always there and is super nice and friendly. I have had a few different flavors now and the strawberry vanilla with half and half and whip cream is by far the best! Really refreshing after a long day in the heat. I will continue to come to cafe adesso and get drinks from here. Prices are fair and the staff is awesome!! I started going to this place for a few weeks before work but i stopped because the line of cars is so long. The older white lady with blonde hair takes forever she will see the line is like 5 cars down and she will still make long conversations with customers about her personal life. And after you deal with the long wait you tell her your order, which mine is not hard is always one small ice coffee. She asks me at least four other times if it was a plain coffee or an iced coffee and then she asks did you want cream then she opens the window again and says did you want sugar. She is so incompetent and talkative about personal stuff and is because of her incompetency that the line is so long. I will no longer go to this place read more

Love this place!! Such a cute little stop in Alpine where they have the best drinks in the cutest cups. They usually put a cute little sticker on the top to keep the drink warm which is an amazing little touch. I actually keep the stickers around my car lol I always go with my dogs on a day off and they love it too because they're given treats :p I will recommend this place not only for the coffee, but the nice little "alpine" feel you get driving though. read more
