Went here for lunch today and I will definitely be back. The food was really good and the service stood out even more. We had a large party and they were very attentive the entire time. The chef even came out to check on us, which I loved. The calamari was hands down some of the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I ordered the meatball sampler with pesto, alfredo, and marinara sauces and every single one was delicious. The portions are big, so you're definitely getting your money's worth. They also have a really cute outdoor patio that's perfect for family dinners, meeting up with friends, or just enjoying a relaxed meal. Highly recommend if you're in the area. read more

Stopped by Caffe Boa for a early dinner with some friends. Love the laid back atmosphere. Service was ok, not the best not the worst. The food made up for the service. We each did a special that was giving back to a little boy in the community. Love that restaurant gives back. Food, we had the calamari, marry me shrimp pasta and Nashville hot chicken pasta. They say to save the best for last, and this might be one of those times. Tucked away on a corner, it truly feels like a hidden gem. Walking in--true to my habit of being the first customer of the day--I was greeted right away and told my group of five could sit anywhere. Owner is a drunk - as has been documented by other guests. You also removed another review that stated the same thing. Who doesn't love Creme brûlée?!? My husband found this place as he knows my obsession with creme brûlée. This was by far one of the best I've ever had. So smooth, creamy and silky. Just enough sweetness with the berries balancing out the texture. The sugar topping is crisped to perfection to where the custard is still cold underneath. Definitely a ten out of a ten. My husband got the butter cake and loved it. The texture was spot on with a great richness. The staff is super sweet and makes you feel like a long time customer. I should be ashamed of myself as I had their creme brûlée three times in the course of one week. The inside smells so good and the next time I'll have to try their food. I just know it will not disappoint! Definitely give this place a try as you will not be disappointed. Oh, and the live music is everything! read more

We had such a great experience here! Our large group of 16 was seated comfortably on the beautiful patio, and the service by Alicia was excellent from start to finish--friendly, attentive, and perfectly organized. She was the server, food runner and busser, overall rock star! The food was good with large portions, and we ended the night with several orders of their amazing butter cake--it was warm, rich, and had just a hint of lemon that made it extra special. Recommend the patio for both small gatherings and larger groups! The owner came out to congratulate our friend on her masters as well as her milestone birthday and gave everyone cards for a free dessert in the future. Stopped in and had the best Chocolate martini I've had since 2010. The recent run on espresso martinis made me miss her distant creamy millennial cousin; the timeless chocolate martini. This young Head Chef deserves ALL his flowers!!! 10 out of 10 recommend!! The atmosphere is quaint and quiet. A Great family filled environment. Classy, full bar, and the food is Amazing!! There are only a few items I have not tried from the small however packed menu. You literally cannot go wrong when Head Chef Chris is working especially. I LOVE the lemon pepper Calamari! No need to look for marinara with this dish as authentic Italian calamari would never pair! ALL the pasta dishes are Awesome!! I visited this location for the first time and it was great. Alisha was our waitress and she was amazing. Our bread was fresh and soft, the spread was wow. For an appetizer, we got salsiccia contadina which I highly recommend. For meals, we had the voodoo bayou pasta and that was fire! The penne pasta was decent. But the mojitos, those were yummy. Better than most bars I have visited and even the high end restaurants. I highly recommend this place. read more

What a cute place!!! Hidden in a shopping center. Has an outside patio. Inside is small but cute. Italian decor. Waiter/bartender was soo friendly!! Drinks were good. Food was exceptional!!! One of the best torts I've ever had (I'm a sucker for peas and garlic sauce). The appetizer and food took a bit longer than anticipated to come out but when we got them everything was delicious! We ordered the shrimp appetizer, lasagna and the chicken parmesan. I've been coming to this place since 2019. I left the state years ago and every time I'm back in PHX, I make it a point to come here. I have NEVER, ordered anything that wasn't excellent. Today I tried the Ruben for lunch, and of course, it's the best Ruben I've ever had (and I'm from NYC). The thing to keep in mind as a guest, is that this is a restaurant that does small volume with occasional rushes. They have a small staff, so if you come here you have to have a bit more patience. The service is excellent as well. This is NOT the place to come for a quick in-and-out meal, it is however the place to sit and enjoy every single bite and enjoy your time with loved ones. This was our first time visiting this place, although I've lived in Tukee for 30+ years. We decided to try it out for our date night. We started by making a reservation online for 6 p.m. and arrived promptly at 6p. It wasn't too crowded, so a reservation wasn't needed, but nice knowing they offered that. We were seated quickly, and the waitress arrived shortly thereafter. We started with a crostini board (pictured), and it was good. I am not a salmon fan, so I didn't eat it, and my while my wife is, she did not like it. I asked about substituting it out next time, and the waitress said we absolutely could do it. The board is customizable. I ordered the voodoo penne pasta (pictured), and my wife ordered the beef medallions (pictured) and a glass of wine. If you are a pasta guy like I am, GET THIS. The sauce was delicious, the chicken was delicious, and it had just the right amount of spice; they also added freshly grated parmesean cheese if you'd like it. I did not taste the steak medallions, but my wife vouches for it, I'll taste the leftovers. We spent $100 (Beef medallions was $40. The menu didn't say so since it was "market price" dish) The waitress was super nice. She answered all our questions, kept our drinks filled, and had an overall calming demeanor. We will definitely be back for Happy Hour and a regular meal. Oh, make sure to join their rewards club, I did, and I got 5 coupons for 5 future visits. read more

Caffe Boa in Ahwatukee is my favorite place to go any night of the week! The service is exceptional and every one of the staff is attentive and friendly. The acoustic music in the background adds a perfect touch, creating a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. Happy hour, which runs from 11AM until 6 PM, is a great deal a variety of drink and appetizers on the HH menu. As for the food, it's absolutely delicious! Lunch special prices - build your own pasta bowl with different pastas, sauces and protein options. I've tried so many, last one was the tri-colored penne with garlic cream sauce, broccoli artichoke hearts, mushrooms... sooo good and amazing serving size I always get to enjoy it again the next day! Of course, the serve fresh out of the oven Italian bread with a homemade aioli, be sure to ask for it. save room for dessert, limoncello cheesecake, or decadent chocolate brownie, yummy cannoli, cream Brulé any one of these is to die for! Went back to this little gem that is literally 2 minutes max from where I live ! Love that for me so when my date mentioned this place and that he'd never been there, it was a no brainer for me! Bonus points for him! Reservation was at 6 outside patio , small but lovely with live music. This was last night on a Friday! I tried Negroni for the first time, wasn't a fan but my date likes them! Ofcourse we had the Calamari as an appetizer, Then I moved on to the butter cake because I'm one of those girlies that want to be fed cake first ! Ha .. my date had the braised beef, i sampled and will be getting it on my next visit. I had salmon, loved it ; veggies were just right also that came with it. Only downside is sitting too close to the bushes outside with insects flying. I may have been the only one attracting them, but bug zapper's would come in handy but I got through my full course alive and happy! This is our favorite Italian place in Tukee. We've come here for birthday dinners, Christmas eve for the past 4 years, and just for fun. Vanna was an excellent waitress. The food is impeccable. The lasagna bolognese is so so good. All of the dishes come out piping hot. The lobster ravioli was delicious. We've tried lots of the apps - shrimp cocktail, meatballs, crostini, prosciutto wrapped dates, all amazing. This is our go to Italian place. We are always impressed with the service and yummy food. Food comes out quickly. They also have a great wine and cocktail selection. Tonight we had the Malbec and it was very good. Thank you Cafe Boa staff! :) 11/10! Go here! read more

The food is very good worth 4 stars based on the food only. Recently sat on patio never offered bread which is not a big deal. On second visit seated inside, party of 3 given a tiny table, we could barely fit our drinks & food on the table. The worst part was the chairs I had 2 men a little over 6 ft with me & I am 5'8'' the chairs are too small & uncomfortable. This would be a minor investment that would help so much to have comfortable seating. We were going to stay for desert but all of us just wanted to get out of those chairs. Service was a bit off but it was a Saturday night. Saw a waitresses hair almost fall in someone's wine glass she was delivering. Long hair needs to be tied back around food. read more
