My favorite items to get here are either an Americano, 12 oz Latte, or an Oatmeal cookie. The staff are very friendly and the prices are competitive. Drinks are served very quickly even when they have a line. The wait time is pretty hit or miss. Either the line is rather long (but moves quickly) or no line at all. Even though I can get free coffee from my employer I choose to stop by here most mornings to pick up an Americano because they have such excellent flavor. The reason I went for 4 rather than 5 stars is because I think there could be some room to improve with the baked goods. I love the cookies but the rest of the baked items could be better. I wish they offered a few additional breakfast items like a breakfast sandwich. I have had the quiche a few times and it is pretty good. The croissants are fantastically dangerous because I like them so much I could eat myself into a coma. I would definitely like to see a few more delicious breakfast options. But, overall I am pretty happy about this place and will continue to go here regularly for my coffee in the mornings. read more

Café Ladro's are always dependable for a cup of joe. I like that they are a "smaller" franchise operation so they are my chain of choice for caffeine., However, not all of them are as "friendly" as the ones I like in West Seattle. read more

Fine in a pinch, but not if I can do without. The Food: I'm not a coffee addict (I enjoy sipping a good latte on weekend mornings) but every once in a while I need a morning cup to get going. This is not it. Since they're located in the lobby of my office, I've resorted to them twice and both experience have been, while not bitter, certainly unpleasant. And don't try their cookies unless you plan to soak them in milk. Dry. The Service: Efficient, but not really skilled at brewing. And I really didn't want to hear the barista complain about car repairmen and how much they were screwing over her boyfriend. Can we stick to small-talk? read more

Dear Caffe Ladro I really do enjoy your coffee, it taste so much better than the chain coffee place that surrounds us. I like how your store front has seating capacity for around 30 people; with a 6-person table or 8-person table, it makes a perfect spot for impromptu meetings on the fly. I do ask you, please, pretty please, can you build another facility elsewhere away from Downtown Bellevue? Perhaps on Bel-Red between 124th and 156th? Please? I don't like how you don't have street parking or even 15 minute validated parking to get a cup of coffee. And paying five or more dollars for the paid lots on top of the coffee is pretty high. Not to mention the amount of time needed to find an open parking, pay the lot machine and to walk to your facility. So, I ask of you, please consider building another location away from Downtown Bellevue. Build that location and I'll become the Duke very quickly. :-) Thanks! read more

I walk past the Starbucks in my building everyday to get my coffee from Cafe Ladro next door. The baristas are top notch. They know their coffee and make me a perfect hemp milk latte every time! They are also very friendly and welcoming even when they are super busy. Cookies are also fantastic. read more

This was my go-to place Monday through Thursday in May and June 2015 when in the area on a long term work assignment. The vanilla lattes were mostly excellent, only suffered from scalded milk once. The staff was pretty friendly and the questions of the day made for great entertainment while waiting. Don't be afraid to ask for the not-on-the-menu "Jumbo" size (20 ounces I believe) - I wish I had discovered it sooner than three days before I left! read more

Great service, but the coffee was a bit sour and smokey. Parking is difficult and is not free.

All the hot drinks tried here have been consistently good. Cafe Ladro staff at this location is great and they do a good job to keeping up with the crowd when they get busy. I was very excited to try the pastries here because they make their own bakery items. The first time I visited, I ordered an Almond Cranberry Cake. It was very dry and not good. But, I wanted to give them another try. Maybe the first time was just a fluke. The second time I went there, I ordered a slice of the Lemon Lavender Bread. It was extremely dry and broke apart into small crumbles when I took my first bite. Very disappointing food, especially at the prices they charge. I will not return. read more

I am not a coffee drinker, so I don't have an opinion about the coffee they brew, but tea chai here is very tasty. With just the right amount of spice and an option to go without sugar, it is one of the best chais I've had in Seattle. read more

This Ladro has a warm, inviting and professional feel. It is located in the Expedia building in the lobby. I'm a fan of the Medici which none of the other big name chains offer. The food bites especially the quiches are good eats. read more

this location mostly services expedia employees and other downtown bellevue workers. i can't imagine coming here to just sit and relax like other caffe ladro shops, since it's in the expedia office building. it can get quite busy during "rush hour" (mornings, mid-afternoons). baristas all know the regulars and what we order. definitely get the snickerdoodle here, their best cookie! (they often run out) although the price is a little higher than at other coffee shops, if you're a regular at caffe ladro, definitely get the card, where you load up money on it like a debit card. for every 8-10 drinks (i forgot how many), you get 2 free drinks. and the 2 free drinks are valued at the average price of your other purchases. ends up being about the same deal compared to other places. read more

I decided to journey a bit this morning to experiment with a new (and not mega-franchise) coffee/breakfast option. As I was headed to a different spot, I saw Caffe Ladro and recalled people saying it was good. I got in the reasonable line and surveyed the assortment of sandwiches and burritos from Molly's (3rd party vendor). While the drip coffee was on par with other coffee shops in Seattle, good but not exceptional, the Molly's Field Breakfast burrito was wooomp waaah disappointing. First, it's quite small. Second, it's $4.55. Third, they heated it up in a microwave, which made it clammy and the tortilla sticky. Finally, the contents were bland (egg, chorizo, chunks of potato?). Avoid that particular breakfast item for sure. Otherwise, Caffe Ladro is a suitable coffee shop. read more

Really great healthy snacks if you want to eat something Vegan, or something that's more fresh than your average pastry (although if you like sugary, yummy pastries, they have those as well!). The coffee is always on point, and even during lunch the line is never that bad. Try the Shakerato; it's a nice pick me up in the afternoon. Every time I've stopped by for espresso, Caffe Ladro has always been on point. Their espressos never taste overly bitter and are always well-made. So glad that downtown Bellevue has places like Caffe Ladro to provide options other than Starbucks. read more

Love Caffe Ladro's Vegan Oat Bars. All baked goods are freshly-made daily in a Seattle bakery and the choices rotate weekly/seasonally. Their makes a distinct Seattle gift for coffee lovers out-of-town. The baristas in Issaquah Highlands are terrific. read more

Hands down the best coffee in Bellevue. The line can get pretty long in the am hours and in the middle of the afternoon but I usually don't have to wait too long. The Ladro girls are great and I don't even have to say my order anymore, they just know. Awesome. read more

Even though I work in the Expedia Building that they are located in I refuse to go here anymore, preferring to walk the block to the closest Starbucks. I don't think there has been a single time that I have gotten coffee there that I have enjoyed the coffee or the experience. The food/bakery items are fine here but the coffee is the worst and made with no thought. I was given a gift card for Christmas for them so decided to try once more. As I am writing this I am trying to define what is wrong with my coffee, I ordered a Grande Iced Mocha with Light Ice, It of course came with a huge amount of Ice so I asked them to take some of it out (that always happens). The problem still is though that it is not any good. It is to weak and watered down tasting leading me to believe that there is 1) Only 1 coffee shot in there and 2) They didn't put enough "Mocha" in the coffee. I am not a Barista so am unsure exactly how these are made but I do know that If I pay $4.50 for a coffee it should taste good. read more

My two negatives are that being in this location does not provide a great atmosphere for studying, reading, or provide a cozy feel. The customer service here is great, they just are morons when it comes to making coffee. They are in the lobby of my building so on occasion I decided to give them an other chance and every time I regret it. First their coffee tastes burnt so I stopped ordering coffee all together. Next today I ordered a Grande Chai Tea and I asked for it to be warm and NOT hot. The kid making coffee was too busy running his yap to pay attention to the orders and instead gave me a tall instead of a grande, it was so hot I immediately burned my tongue when I took a tiny sip. I will NEVER go back, I don't care if I have to walk 6 blocks to get a coffee (I don't but... if I did). I really dislike business that are run like this, other Cafe Ladro locations are great, but places like this don't care because they know that they are in the lobby of a very large building and they will get business no matter what. read more
