Location, Location, Location, a pleasing ocean view is what lures you to this restaurant first. Or your business guest recommended this restaurant for a breakfast meeting. The restaurant was quiet with plenty of available tables that had views of the ocean. We sat on the first inside dining room row of the restaurant where we can enjoy the ocean, but avoid the sidewalk traffic noise. I ordered their popular "eggs Benedict with crabmeat" which was excellent. Our server was very pleasant and stayed attentive to all of our needs. I also perused through their wine list & dinner menu and notice some popular Italian dishes along with some good choices of wine. The prices seem to be very fair considering the assumed location high price real estate. I am guessing that one day some large firm will acquire this wonderful land and construct a high-end hotel & restaurant. Hopefully not for a long time. read more

Intimate place and great service. The Branzini fish was 3 out 5 because the brown rice was not done. The 2 ladies sitting next to us had it earlier confirmed it and told the server something like "see I told you so" so why didn't the manager take action and continued to serve it to patrons. Why no-one tasted it and said "take it off" and substitute with something else. That's poor and unacceptable. The seafood pasta that my fiancé had was good. This was on 11/3/2022. read more

I came here for breakfast on a weekday. It was extremely busy with a lot of happy customers chowing down on omelettes and such. I order the spinach eggs Benedict; adding tomato to the order. Being that I was off this day, I order a Bloody Mary. Holy moly, this thing was so darn good. I've come to the conclusion that it's a super simple drink to make, and can be very easily messed up too! Not the case here, it was delicious. I am happy to say this is not only the best Bloody Mary I've had in months but also the BEST in all of Delray Beach. My eggs Benedict was very tasty. I loved the sauce they generously poured on top. I had amazing service, the beautiful view (I sat outside), and fabulous cocktail. Went here for an early happy hour and our bartender was so good we decided to come back for dinner. We got their specials of the evening - a gigantic plate of seafood linguine and a bigger than my head veal parmesan. Both were great and would absolutely order again if I lived close by. I'll start off by saying that that 3.6 as a rating is not correct, at least not for me. I give it at least 4.5. Location is perfect and inside decor is fabulous with the wonderful pictures of celebrities and friends. I ordered the eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon and enjoyed every bite. In fact, the hollandaise sauce was very tasty with the perfect amount of lemon. Home fries ( from my friend's plate) were great. My expresso came with the rock sugar on a stick and a biscotti. Nice touch. Service did not take long even though the restaurant was full. I went today, Oct. 22, 2023 and I will stop in every time I visit Delray. Our waiter Sam was beyond exceptional! There was a long wait to the fact that it's Sunday at a prime time. He saw us standing there and came up and offered us drinks to make us comfortable until our table is ready. The service only got better from there. Came to have breakfast here with family and we were seated almost instantly. I feel lucky for a second there considering how busy it was. We waited almost an hour for our food until the waiter finally realized that the kitchen never got our food order. Once they finally got word of our food order it was nearly lunch time so we ended up eating breakfast for lunch and I was severely disappointed. The food was actually very good but service was not great at all. We had to repeat requests more than once sometimes more. "Can I get a drink, can I get hot sauce, can I get the check". My husband loves the linguine with white clam, he always has to have it before he leaves Florida. They have a few options for me to choose from. I have their veggie omelette which was good and the potatoes were well flavored. We have been to this restaurant a few times and the service is always good and food is consistent. If you have a service animal or are handicap avoid this place like the plague. My wife has a service poodle and she's in a scooter for mobility but the manager Bonnie decided all on her own, even after explaining the dog's training that I wasn't a service animal. A lousy attitude, lousy manners and a bigoted viewpoint makes this restaurant handicap unfriendly. Thank you for your reply but a person that has a mobility issue and is turned away because she has a service animal that alerts her to a condition she has in order to take medication and trained for it. Your staff sucks and have the manners of a bouncer. We explained but they refused to let us have a seat inside away from the scalding heat. Thanks. I had a wonderful brunch yesterday. It was not too crowded and were seated immediately. Our host said a few nice morning words and then our server was there to pour fresh OJ and cold water. The specials were listed both on the wall chalkboard and in menu form. After reading through the regular menu, decisions were made. The breakfast pizza seemed reasonably priced and had a good variety of toppings. Also ordered a side of chicken sausage and a fruit and yogurt bowl. All food came up quickly and the portions were wonderful and great for sharing. We did just that and all at our table we stuffed and taking home some leftovers to snack on later that day. Our table was inside but we still felt a nice seabreeze and had a good view of the beach side. Parking used to be free before noon on the weekends, but it seems that the meters have been changed to reflect a $1.50 per hour charge everyday. Still not bad in price and worth the experience. I recently went for dinner with friends visiting and I have been going here for the past 16 years. Our food was very good but I love fried calamari and I never order it here anymore after a few disappointing tries, way too salty. In general I am not a big fan of salty food because you can always add it but you can't get it out, which applies to every restaurant in business! She was annoyed that when I ordered an iced coffee and I set it back because she brought me an iced tea! Really. She never asked if we wanted anything else. She was completely rude. I'll keep this short, just like our visit last Friday morning ! I'm 7 months pregnant and last Friday morning , I stopped by for breakfast with my brother who was visiting. We were with my 2.5 year old son. From the second the manager saw us walk up with a child, he had no intention on letting us stay there . My son wasn't in the best mood and was making that clear for the whole 45 seconds we were in the restaurant. The manager halfheartedly sat us , wouldn't bring the highchair we requested so I could get him settled , and within a few moments came back and told us we would have to leave because of my son. He was crying and the manager said he just couldn't have that in his restaurant. He acted like he had never actually seen a child before and the thought of one in the restaurant was horrific for him. He informed me he had never kicked someone out before, however, based on the countless other similar reviews , that is clearly a lie and something he does regularly. It appears that the ownership of Luna Rosa hates children, animals and apparently pregnant women. It wouldn't have mattered if he was crying or not , he would have found any reason to kick us out. Who kicks a pregnant woman and her child out of a restaurant?! Avoid this place at costs! Edit: As anyone is able to see, the owner of this place never takes responsibility for his or any of his employees actions! He reports and responds deflecting on every platform to every negative review. He's also a full blown liar! He completely tries to rewrite history in his response to my post on various other restaurant review platforms . I really wanted to like this restaurant considering its proximity to the beach and my hotel (Opal) however the breakfast service I had on Monday morning was subpar. Although I was only one of a handful of tables, service was slow. I assumed the avocado toast did not come with any sides but my waiter neglected to tell me it was a fried mashed potato - it was drenched in oil and inedible. I would have preferred fruit or nothing at all. The iced coffee I ordered was more water than coffee and the avocado was over ripe you could taste it wasn't fresh. COCONUT CRUSTED FRENCH TOAST - 9/10 Pros: Its a good sign that the dish was delicious because my daughter ate the whole plate without sharing. She doesn't usually finish her food. The presentation was very nice to look at. The orange and strawberries makes the dish standout. I would say that the price was decent for the portion. Cons: Nothing I could think of. Yes I gave a 9, I never give a 10 unless I was blown away, I didn't get to taste it so I can't really give an honest opinion. AVOCADO TOAST EGGS BENEDICT - 7/10 Pros: It tasted good and healthy to eat. Cons: Not plentiful, garnishing game needs improvement. Pass on this dish, not worth it. LOBSTER OMLETTE - 8/10 Pros: I like the options for tomatoe slices, it made the dish colorful, especially when you open the omlette, the asparagus and the lobster made it pop. It tasted real good. Cons: Its basically a lobster roll. Instead of bread its replaced by omlette and throw in some asparagus and onions to make it look filling. Would like little bit more lobster. read more

This place is awesome for brunch/dinner. It is right on the water so it's super convenient if you are having a beach day. The Bloody Mary was so delicious and nicely garnished with olive, salami, and cheese. The avocado eggs Benedict was good but the eggs were slightly cold, it comes with potatoes cakes and those were really yummy. The breakfast wrap was also very tasty and you can customs the items in the wrap. Definitely a great confident spot to stop by. read more

AMAZING Italian restaurant in Delray! I came here with my Mom when we were staycationing in Delray and we both agreed that this was our favorite restaurant from our week here. I had the chicken parm that was a HUGE portion (like I had it for lunch the next day and still had some left!) What I didn't realize though is that if you want pasta, you have to order it separately. If you're the type that just enjoys chicken, that will suffice but to me, chicken parm just doesn't seem as complete without pasta. My mom ordered the fish and asparagus and raved about that as well. The manager was so friendly and made us feel welcomed as soon as we walked in. All in all a great experience. read more

We were having a wonderful time until the waiter decided for us how we were each going to pay the bill. He refused to take cash from those that eat very little and only brought cash. My family and I have been coming to Luna Rosa for 20 years. We love the outdoor patio. Unfortunately we had such a terrible experience yesterday for breakfast. Our server Hailey was unfriendly from the start, we thought maybe it was because it was early, 8am. When our food came out, my pancakes had raw batter in the middle. She was not coming to check on us so the host ended up taking my plate back to have the pancakes remade. They took the whole plate with the fruit that I was enjoying and the new pancakes arrived when my friends were finished eating. The next plate of pancakes was raw as well. When we notified Hailey, she rolled her eyes to our face, never apologized and was snickering with other waitstaff in ears shot of us. We still tipped because she was training Shannon who was extremely polite and professional. Our lovely sunset and breakfast morning was altered because of Hailey's terrible attitude and immaturity.
