What a treat! I never even noticed this place after driving by for so many years. Thankfully I have friends that are Malibu locals, and I'm SO glad I was asked to meet here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ample free parking out front, while inside is a clean, crisp, airy ambiance, with outdoor patio seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Almost felt like the kind of place you'd find a retired James Bond, who has aged out of the spy business, but still has the body to pull a divorced hottie. The patrons are like the pretty ones in WeHo, except with that dash of Malibu money, and the "extra" looking lap dogs that the girls/ladies bring in. Service is fantastic, and the food (I had of their warmed sandwiches) was small but tasty, along with a cup of some shaken iced coffee. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Highly recommend taking 20 minutes to sit and watch the patrons. You never know who you'll see.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I want to say more, but you'll just have to see for yourself.....

Service was nice and the caramello was de-li-cious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Music was chill[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and the croissant was pretty good too.

Wanted a quick coffee stop in Malibu and stumbled upon this place. I ended up getting an Ethiopia Fresh Brewed Iced Coffee and it was fantastic. Tons of unique flavors and didn't really need to add anything to it. They told me it would take 6-7 minutes to prepare since its done fresh, I gladly waited. Definitely one of the best tasting black coffees I've had and it tasted so pure. Very reasonable pricing at $5 as well. Would be back when I am in Malibu. Parking : Easy, they have free parking right in front though it may fill up as well. I was able to snag the last spot when I arrived but people come and go pretty often. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating Area : They have a nice outdoor area with plenty of seats to relax and drink/eat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Chicken pesto sandwich and veggie quiche

The coffee was delicious. I ordered a special coffee the cafe nico : espresso, candied orange, half and half and cinnamon. It was unique and one of the best, if not the best coffees I've had all year! My boyfriend's latte was a little lackluster so I'm guessing if you come here you should go for a special.... Chicken pesto sandwich was good, but the quiche, though warmed up was pretty cold in the middle. But the consistency was good. Just wish i wasn't... half... cold. Ample seating, good restrooms, and cute merchandise as well. Good service, the baristas are very patient!

Seasonal Dolcezza Latte and two small hot chocolates

We enjoy coming to this Caffe Luxxe location. Parking is limited but it also never seems to get extremely busy here. We have been able to find ample seating and parking when we stop by in the morning. The coffee is great. We have had lattes and hot chocolate. All have been good. I was excited to see a seasonal latte called the Dolcezza, which is a blend of sweet potato and spice (like the pumpkin spice latte). I enjoyed it! Available October through December. There is no wifi, but there is plenty of space to get some work done. I'm usually here with my kids to work on some of their homework, so we don't need outlets or internet. We value the large indoor and outdoor seating area and comfortable tables. The staff are always nice and helpful. Thank you for a consistent pleasant experience!

Been going here for years and always get the Iced Caramello - but every drink is amazing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Consistently has such friendly service, great pastries, and a quiet area to sit outside in the mornings.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is definitely in my top 3 favorite coffee shops and is a pillar in the community!

Our coffee run brought us it Caffee Luxxe & it did not disappoint. My safe choice is always a vanilla latte and it was a very good one at that (I added cinnamon on top). My bf ordered a matcha latte which he really enjoyed. The baristas were very nice and helpful. Now for the pastries they had quite a selection to choose from. I ordered a vegan walnut banana muffin it was soo good not overly sweet but just the right amount that pair well with my coffee. My bf ordered a matcha white chocolate cookie which he also enjoyed. We will definitely be coming back .

I've been to so many different coffee shops but this one was definitely my top 3 favorite. Highly recommend

Very convenient coffee shop. In Malibu. Easy parking. Great tasting coffee. And friendly staff. They had outdoor seating. Very nice and some good like muffins. But i didn't get any. I will return for more breakfast experience.

Is this a good spot to come and work on a laptop if I don't need a WiFi? I just need a positive space with an outlet where I can work on my writing.

No WiFi and no cell reception to hotspot

Anyone know if they serve a proper pot of tea, or is it just bags in a cup? Thanks! :)

Hello there! We source our own teas directly and have them loose leaf in our caffès and then hand knot them into tea filter bags for each drink. If you would then like additional hot water, we’re happy to provide it so you can continue to enjoy…

What's the status on wi-fi? Not a very community-oriented space if students and working professionals can't work, study, or collab.

Thanks for your comment Arnold. We believe our deliberate omission of wi-fi promotes the best kind of community, that is, people interacting with one another. I am sorry you disagree.

    Do they have Nitro coffee?

Hi Tamara! : ) Sorry, we make all of our iced coffees one cup at a time, so we unfortunately don't…

The view of the ocean is nice, the breeze is cooling, and there's no yucky fishy smell you might think you'd smell at the pier. Service: the servers were great, but the girl who checked us in wasn't very friendly. My boyfriend and I got there and she told us to wait for a table to open up then she would seat us; however, we looked and saw multiple tables open and she even sat another party who came after us. We had to ask another server if we could be seated and they seated us shortly after. Vibes: you sit pretty close to other parties and there are a lot of tables in the area. Volume level is fairly loud because of all the people, but it's not an overwhelming loud. Gets busy around brunch/lunch time. On the cuff of being a nicer place to eat in terms of vibes, but because it is near the beach it does feel more chill. Food: I had the build your own fish taco and the Swedish mini pancakes. For the price that I paid, neither was worth it. The fish was kind of dry and flavorless and the best thing about that dish were the veggies. The mini pancakes got mushy quick, so these definitely should be eaten sooner rather than later. The syrup and fruits atop the pancakes were extremely sweet and the dish overall left my stomach feeling heavy. Unfortunately this place is an overpriced tourist trap.

This week we hit our limit, and are thinking of canceling our membership. The waiters act as though you should be serving them and it usually takes anywhere from 15-30 minutes for someone to arrive at your table. Meals are drawn out due to the lack of service. The front desk hostess' could not be more unpleasant, dismissive, and rude. Also, the food is simply OK, nothing special, and priced exceptionally high for what it is. In terms of ambiance, the furniture is stained, mildewy, and terribly kept. The large dining room remains empty throughout the day since they don't allow computers, and everyone is crammed into a small area where "computers are allowed". Also the employees take up one of the best (more private) tables in the house with their computers and coffee (stunned by this). Today, it was Pura Vida in Malibu, located in the same commercial plaza as Madhappy / Pantry, Frankies Bikinis, Be Kind Studios (pilates), and a soon-to-be Wally's. I really liked Pura Vida because of it's "health and wellness" angle. In re-reviewing the menus here, I noticed several items that were over 1,000 calories - not quite as health-conscious as I remember, but I knew it had to be just as delicious. Thankfully, I was right. I had the Spicy Tuna Poke Bowl which comes with a generous helping of avocado, cucumber, arugula, green onions / scallions, radish, spicy mayo, cilantro rice, and raw tuna. For about $35 with tax and tip, this was a rather hearty lunch that two people could easily share. I didn't mix it, as I prefer to eat ingredients separately, and received a soy ginger sauce on the side to complement the flavors. My friend opted for the Spicy Salmon Wrap, made with a specifically gluten-free wrap. That option comes with cooked salmon (which she found to be dry), edamame, carrots, avocado, and cilantro rice - as well as a side of fruit and the same soy ginger dressing/sauce I had. She wasn't wow'ed by the flavor, which may be because of the wrap, or the gluten-free nature of the preparation, or the salmon itself. The exterior patio seating is new, fun, and reminds me a bit of the La La Land coffee shop in Calabasas. Gorgeous place to have brunch or lunch outdoors and soak in some Malibu overcast. Service was efficient, personable, and polite. Plenty of staff to handle the crowd on a Saturday afternoon. Food came out quickly and tables were bussed in a timely manner. Free parking is available in the back lot, or else in the underground garage. There's also valet parking for $8 (all-day) toward the front.
