The star was the Streudel, first bite gave my tastebuds a serious biochemical reaction. I'm going back for the spinach and feta. I had the ham and cheese. It's TOO good. Finally tried the new mom & pop shop in town and it far exceeded my expectations! The service was excellent, everyone was so kind. The shop itself is cute and SO CLEAN with lots of seating options. I had the Turkey egg & cheese breakfast sandwich and it rivals some of the best I've had, even better than my previous fave Le Coffee Shop in Temecula. The bread was fresh baked and delicious, eggs freshly made (not microwaved!!) fresh tomatoes and spring mix. I chose the cinnamon latte to pair with it and it was very good as well. Well this was an amazing coffee place. The lattes were delicious. Mine was decaf and still fabulous. Maybe even better than the regular. They had many interesting flavored lattes although I usually don't order flavored coffee. Service was wonderful and friendly and attentive in a cute little place. They clean regularly. Good selection of Paninis. The chocolate truffle ball was really nice. They also had lots of tempting pastries all baked by the owner. I highly recommend this place for a coffee. read more

What a great new gem in our growing city of Menifee! We have heard so many great things about Caffe Mercato from various family members and finally stopped by today to try a couple things out. We ordered an iced vanilla late and an iced coffee + the panna cotta. Everything was delicious! The coffee they use in their drinks is outstanding and definitely has a very pleasant flavor. The panna cotta was not super sweet at all, and was the perfect treat on this hot summer day. Everyone we spoke to was extremely helpful and courteous. We especially liked the fact that instead of calling the order out from the counter when it was ready, they brought the drinks and dessert to us as we waited at our table. Since we were taking it to go, we absolutely didn't expect them to do that. When we left, everyone in the store said "Thank you! Have a great day!" We will definitely be back on a regular basis to support this great new business and to enjoy some tasty coffee and treats! Support local business and give them a try! read more

I always enjoy trying new spots in the neighborhood when they open up and to support the business if I have a good experience. Visited after grabbing Boba next door. Place wasn't busy at all, maybe a few people occupying one table. We didn't plan on dining in, just wanted to grab something to go to try out Caffe Mercato. There were a couple of people working, so after scanning the menu, we decided to order a Crème Brûlée. The workers seemed occupied with tasks but weren't actively serving the one table and told us they'd be right with us. We finally got the order in and again they said "we'll get that right to you." We stood around, finally took a seat and waited while on our phones, and after about 15 minutes later, they handed us a bag with a prepackaged crème brûlée. Now, we spied the prepackaged crème brûlée in their display when we ordered and thought maybe they wanted to prepare it before giving it to the customer with extra presentation goodies or something. Nope just the same item dropped in a bag. They literally could have done the same right after we ordered but I guess whatever tasks they were doing were more important than serving their customers promptly. Really 15 minutes for that and I'm pretty patient?! So service was a failure and we won't be returning. read more

My mom and I walked our dog to Caffe Mercato to try it out, being that it's so close to our neighborhood. I'm so glad we tried it! The service was absolutely amazing. We dined there and sat outside - the staff delivered our drinks and food to us and even brought a "pup cup" for our dog! Drinks were great, food was great, service was great. The only small tiny thing I wish was different was that there was no tipping feature if you paid with card! (My mistake for not bringing cash, but given that we walked here, we only brought a card.) I'm a server myself, and was floored by the amazing service, so not being able to tip the staff was a big bummer. ): Will be bringing double the cash next time!! First impression was great. Staff was super nice and helpful. Before we could say anything they gave us a free sample of their tiramisu! I got the Smoked Turkey Panini, which came with a salad. Super fresh and the bread was amazing. My wife got an iced latte and a GF flourless cake. It's much appreciate there is something GF. If they had GF bread for sandwiches it would change the game. Honestly, my husband and I love this place. I came Sunday 06/25/2023 while running errands and bought two s'mores bars. I also witnessed a couple sitting down and enjoying some of their sandwiches which looked very tasty. We loved the bars so much I came back today and bought 5 more so my MIL could try it too. While waiting I saw them create 3 of the cookie frappes and they looked delicious, I'll definitely have to try it. I saw they have coconut lattes and mocha lattes and I'm tempted to ask if the can make a chocolate coconut latte haha. On Sunday it was a young girl working the till who may still be high school aged, and today it was a younger boy who definitely seems high school aged. Both seemed nervous but excited to help a customer. I'm not sure if it's a family business or not, but it's very refreshing to see them giving the younger generation a chance to earn income and build work history. When my generation entered the work force it was during a recession, and I was competing with masters degree holders to be a cashier at Target, it felt like it took forever to get my foot in the door anywhere and get some experience. I could be wrong, but I just find it very heartwarming to see them giving these kids a chance and I'll definitely be back to buy more goods whenever I'm nearby. read more
