Always love to stop at a coffee shop out of town. Friendly staff welcomes you in. Ordered what caught my attention. The one that had an outside sign that says toasted marshmallows latte! It was pretty chilly. . Had to get a pastry that looked different... it didn't pair well with my hot latte. Love lemon pastries but this was a little too much lemony taste.

I really enjoy the atmosphere at Caffe Mercato!! it's cozy, charming, and has a nice vibe that makes it a great spot to grab a bite. The food is delicious; I had the turkey panini and it was flavorful and perfectly toasted. Definitely a solid choice if you're in the mood for a good sandwich or cafe meal. One thing to keep in mind is that indoor seating is pretty limited, so it can feel a little cramped when it's busy. If you want to sit and enjoy your meal inside, you might need to come early or be prepared to wait. Parking can be a little tricky too. There's some parking right in front, but it fills up quickly. The lot next to Ross is the best bet if you're driving. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Cafe Mercato for the food and atmosphere, just plan ahead for seating and parking!

My family LOVES this little coffee/brunch spot. We've tried a number of drinks and to date my favorites are the Pistachio iced latte and Horchata latte. The pastries are delicious, can't go wrong with the nutty chocolate chip cookie or s'mores bar. The granola parfait is good, and a serving that is shareable for sure. Hubby likes the chorizo breakfast sandwich. Everything is fresh! The service is ALWAYS so good here. The young men working here are polite, professional and friendly. It's currently my favorite local-ish spot.

Located in the 'Menifee Town Center' right off the 215 FWY, on Antelope and Newport Roads near Ralph's with plenty of parking. Besides specialty coffee and tea, they serve lemonade, freshly baked pastries, salads, panini sandwiches, and breakfast all day. First visit and I'm obsessed! I tried "La Chata" over ice, which is coffee with milk, horchata, and matcha. My cousin recommended this drink and I'm glad she did. It tasted perfect! I also tried their "Tres Leches" and "Blueberry Poppy Seed Slice", both so delicious. Prices are reasonable. Service was amazing. Shout out to 'Fabian', he was welcoming, friendly, and extremely helpful with the menu. The Café is clean and organized with a cozy atmosphere and patio seating. Overall, I had a great experience here and will definitely return to try other treats.

My family and I came here before heading out for our roadtrip and it was the best spot to do so! Everything was amazing hands down, but their tiramisu was amazing! Definitely will be back!

You know the food is good when you didn't stop to take a photo of it for a Yelp review. This spot had some of the best, unique selections for brunch. You want 'breakfast' food? Done. You want pasta for brunch?? Done. We ordered the strawberry toast which was sooo perfect - The bread was warm and perfectly baked and the strawberries were fresh. I'm not a big sweet tooth, so I got the vodka penne pasta which was delicious and served with warm, fresh sourdough. The service was super friendly and quick!! It's a smaller restaurant but they have limited outdoor seating as well. Honestly sad I'm never in Menifee because this spot would quickly become a regular for me!

First time trying this place and was pleasantly surprised. Don't let the interior fool you. The cafe is fairly small inside with limited seating but there were a few tables outside. The food was really good and great portions for the price. We ordered their avocado toast and the mercato chicken panini. I wished the cinnamon roll was more moist and pillow-y. We'd definitely order their savory food items again! The iced pumpkin spiced coffee and strawberry lemonade was ok, not super memorable, but still good. Service was friendly and quick. Overall, a cute little spot for some food and coffee.

We ordered ube cannoli, rosemary muffin, danish, turkey panini, carrot soup, strawberry matcha and horchata latte! Everything tasted so delicious with homemade notes. My favorite was the ube cannoli! The turkey panini was good! The carrot soup was yummy. The young guy at register was super friendly! Highly recommend!

Quick stop out of town for coffee and food. I refuse to go to starbucks and was pleasantly surprised with this little shop in Menifee. From the time you walk into the door you are greeted with a smile and the service is impeccable. Food and coffee were delicious and when we left we got a good bye and a thank you. We decided to try this new local business and we were glad we did. We ordered the horchata frappe, Arnold Parmer, the chicken Mercato panini and the ham,egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. Everything was very good and I was really impressed with the panini bread that I found out they make in house. The staff was friendly and welcoming. very cute cafe, on the small side but they have outdoor seating available if it's crowded inside. service was good, we were given a number to wait and it had a cute dog on it (nico!!!!) and they brought our food and drinks straight to us. they also have merchandise from small local businesses that you can buy as well, like jewelry and dog collars. big variety of pastries and breakfast/lunch sandwiches we are looking to come back to try. our orders: vanilla latte with cinnamon: perfectly sweet and espresso wasn't bitter. strawberry lemonade: little too sour but they have sugar set out to the side to add. love the chunks of strawberry inside. almond croissant: very big croissant, strong almond flavor, yum :p read more

Met up with family for Sunday morning breakfast! This fantastic little cafe will knock your socks off! Excellent variety of coffee and non coffee drinks for the entire family! Breakfast sandwiches are delicious and the quality is outstanding...especially with the home made breads! Last but not least the pastries and desserts are incredible! Food was AMAZINGGG! 10/10 and I am a very picky person but this place was sooo good! They're sandwiches are delicious, handmade everything, bread so was so savory and the sandwich itself is not too big or too small for breakfast. Toasted just right. Lattes were very well made as well! Everyone needs to try this place out. I HIGHLY recommend. Definitely will be coming back and recommending this to my friends and family. Me gustaba venir a este café por las mañanas, aún con sus errores al entregar las órdenes, y detalles al servicio que no eran de mi agrado como la actitud de la dueña que siempre ha sido muy ruda. Venía por los sándwiches con pan francés, y el matcha. Hoy vine de nuevo y pedí lo de costumbre, me sorprendió que el tamaño del sándwich se redujo en tamaño ya no es pan francés y me lo dieron con un panini muy pequeño a lo acostumbrado, pero el precio siguió igual. El agua que tienen ahí siempre estaba fresca y con sabor a limón. Esta mañana estaba caliente sin hielo y sin sabor. También me gustaba venir por la tarjeta de recompensas que te dan, te sellaban por cada bebida y hoy compré 2 bebidas y solo me sellaron una. Dijeron que era por compra, lo cual me parece ridículo, de haber sabido pido las bebidas por cuentas separadas. Venía también por apoyar a los negocios pequeños pero estos cambios y estos detalles hacen que pierdan clientes. Este lugar no es barato pero me parecía justo el precio a pesar de todo. Great gem in Menifee, something truly authentic and independent that was missing. Love the food and the ambiance... ask for the breakfast special. First off, I didn't even know this place was here. I planned on getting something from another location, but this little corner shop stood out to me. It's clean, organized and has plenty of seats for its size inside. They also have our door seating which is a plus. I ordered the Bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich to go along with a Lavender iced coffee. Both were packaged exquisitely. I even received 3 orange slices with my sandwich which was an added delight. As for the sandwich, it was perfectly executed. The ingredients stayed within the confines of the delicious bread and the ingredients were plentiful without going overboard. There was nothing underwhelming about this location. The server that took care of me and even offered to put my order in a combo to maximize my savings, but was upfront about up charges for the larger drink. In the end I was given a punch card which I plan on using and a genuine thank you and request for a return visit. If you haven't stopped by this location, I suggest that you skip your Starbucks norm and take a moment for yourself. Pause, order a coffee and a pastry or sandwich, have a seat and relax in the comfort of a place that is more comfortable. read more

I drove from San Diego to meet a friend here and I would come here all the time if I lived closer! I ordered the Mercato chicken panini sandwich and the horchata latte (hot) and they were both so delicious!! My friend said horchata lattes at other places and Caffe Mercato's was the best horchata latte by far. Parking is really easy, there's indoor and outdoor seating available, and the staff are super friendly and amazing. Highly recommend! read more

I recently visited the new Caffe Mercato and I am a iced coffee lover. So I ordered the Coconut Iced Latte and wow that was so tasty and it even had little pieces of shredded coconut. I will be going back to try the other flavors . Btw my 2 kids had the Mocha Frapps and they gave it two thumbs up. read more

I'm so glad there's a cafe close to home and the perfect option rather than waiting in long lines of bigger chain coffee places. The pastries are delicious and freshly made. The service was friendly. I just overheard a gentleman say to his wife as he was walking out the door: "This tastes better than Starbucks" while sipping one of those fancy triple layered multicolored drinks. There is usually plenty of outdoor seating and easy parking. There is also a bunch of great little shops nearby, including SEES candy and a handful of restaurants, etc. Target, Michaels, HomeGoods, you know the normal Mini-Mall "flif-flof'. It's a very pleasant spot. Look for: "COUNTRYSIDE MARKETPLACE " just off of Newport/Haun Rd near Highway 215. Let me pop back inside and throw a couple of shekels in the "tip jar"! My Catholic guilt got a grip on me! Time to buzz off for now.........

Disappointing Experience at Caffe Mercato in Menifee As a realtor always on the move in the Menifee area, I often seek local coffee shops for quick meetings and to catch up on work. This morning, I chose Caffe Mercato for a meeting with colleagues. Although we started our session promptly, we didn't order immediately as we were engrossed in discussion. Post-meeting, while I planned to continue working and grab a coffee, the manager approached me. He was upset that we used the table without making a purchase. His tone was off-putting, especially when I expressed my intent to order. His response? You guys were here for an hour and the tables are for customers. He bluntly told me he never wanted to see me there again. Well Sir you don't have to worry about that...lol. As someone who supports local businesses and believes in respectful customer service, this was a complete letdown. I headed to Starbucks instead. My advice to fellow Menifee locals and professionals: seek a more welcoming establishment for your business meetings or remote work sessions. Menifee deserves better! read more

However, this last visit, I brought my bf and he ordered a hot spiced brown sugar latte, after he and I tried it, we both realized that it did not taste like spice brown sugar and it was way too sweet and watered down. Mind you, this is not their specialty- they don't always make good lattes here but I like everything else so that's why I keep coming. After I let the waiter know about how sweet the latte was he said he would go tell his manager, he then comes back and offers me a 50% off to get it replaced. Otherwise they couldn't do anything. I was baffled at their solution. I been a loyal client, you would think they would've taken the full cup and remade it. But nope. Would not be coming back. I asked for a Caramel Macchiato understanding that they don't have a Starbucks Macchiato but something like a Caramel Macchiato.
