Fresh made salads, sandwiches, and other food

A super cute cafe and shop! I instantly felt welcomed by the staff and even chatted with some of them while I waited for my food, which was nice and fun. Tons of fresh baked goods, homemade pastas, vegetarian dishes, and sandwiches. I tried their frittata of the day which was broccoli and cheese and it was a giant slice! They also served it with a side of honey mustard balsamic dressing, which I thought was weird at first, but the flavors actually worked well together. There's a huge selection of flavored tea, fresh pastas, and merchandise in the cafe as well.

What a great little treasure in the heart of downtown St. Joseph! We recently stopped into Caffe Tosi for brunch this summer, and I wish I could have ordered every single thing on the menu! Ended up scarfing down some breakfast sandwiches inside the cafe, which is small and busy, but still easy to find a seat and enjoy the atmosphere. We dined next to men in suits having a business meeting, an adorable family with children on vacation, teenagers hanging out over baked goods and lattes, and people coming in for grab-and-go goodies. If I lived in this area, I'd be a regular! The sandwiches were delicious, and we ended up taking home some pastries and a large container of their famous minestrone soup, which they always have available in the coolers, along with many other soups and chilis. If you're spending the day at the beach, it's a hop, skip, and a jump away! And you can have the super-friendly employees pack a bag full of goodies for your friends & family to enjoy on the sunset coast! Sweet, savory, hot, cold... they do it all! Service was fast and efficient, and our order was safely packaged with love in cute little boxes. We fell in love with Caffe Tosi and will be back as soon as we can!

I think this alone will have me coming back to Saint Joes. The location from my hotel was ideal. It led me right to the farmers market afterwards.

Tosi's is always a good place to eat! With lots of seating indoors and outdoors, it's a great space for small groups or individuals. They have a lot of great bakery options along with a well sized menu of pizzas and sandwiches

Second time here, neat place. Quite pricey, $9.5 for a mimosa and $7 for a cold brew but you're in a tourist spot so it's expected. Good pastry. Nothing uniquely special about what we got, but a solid coffee joint.

So nice, we went there twice! On Saturday we picked up a couple of treats (lemon bar, chocolate pudding cake, granola chocolate chip cookie with walnuts) to take to dinner at a friend's house. Everything was delicious so we stopped back to get some goodies for the road on Sunday. It was much more crowded on Sunday morning (no shock there), but be prepared for a line out the door (it did move quickly). We got our goodies from friendly staff who were moving things along efficiently. My favorite was the granola chocolate chip cookie with walnuts: HUGE and delicious!

The waffles with fresh fruit and cafe americanos are our go-to whenever we are visiting St. Joseph. Everything about this place is fantastico. Bon appetitto!

Caffe Tosi has a way to make you feel valued. From when you walk in they greet you and welcome you. I made the mistake to step out of line to look at the salads, and more people came in so I lost my space. So make sure you look at the salads when your ready to order. The service is great. The food comes out quick. Today I was impressed by their packaging. Where a lot of places are pulling back. Caffe Tosi makes you feel valued. You walk out like you just for a Christmas present. A sturdy Christmas decorated bag, well packaged box, with separate sleeve with napkins and fork, and everything you needed. So you have a great Panini and it's packages well and it just puts you in a great mood. Well done.

Came her based on ChatGPT agenda, and Yelp reviews. If the two recommend the same place, it must be good. This is a small little cafe, serving decent hot coffee, sandwiches, salads, and more. Go in, order at the front, and they will call out your name so you can get your order. There are several tables and chairs in the small dining area. You can also sit outside as well.

We wanted a light breakfast since we were going to be out hiking and walking dunes. We didn't want huge meal of eggs and meat and toast. This was just enough to fuel us for the day but not bog us down! We both had flat whites, and they were made very well. Hubs had a cheese danish, that was nice and flaky. Under the cheese there was pastry and it looked amazing. You see those premade "Danishes" that are mushy and the frosting peels off, this is the exact opposite. He really enjoyed it. I had oatmeal since I wanted some good fuel for our day. It was not your grandma's oatmeal cooked to mush. It kept its texture, was loaded with fresh fruit, and came with brown sugar and milk on the side. This was a fun spot to have a quick bite, or sit and visit with friends.

Food was fine in taste. Very disappointed in the lack of size for a 15.95 sandwich. The customer service was piss poor in my opinion. They have two Reuben sandwich and they don't clarify which one I would like when I said I would take the Reuben. Greeted unpleasantly when I told them this was the wrong service. Disappointed experience for a local resident. Use to come here as a kid and loved it. Won't be back.

Great size for sharing, but you're not going to want to! So fresh, so tasty, and made with love from local ingredients. The cafe is located inside a "food hall" of sorts, surrounded by other local vendors serving cheese, produce, coffee, beer, smoothies, gifts, and more! Great atmosphere for cooling off from the summer sun and enjoying a unique lunch prepared by friendly, knowledgeable servers. If you're in the St. Joseph area, make sure to stop by and grab a snack! Or, I did. This person must really need 50 cents badly to actually ignore a customer and to refuse a refund. Your business will not last if you do not have the management skills to back up cooking skills. And this is a small area. When a customer asks you why you charged them something, they are not just asking. It is theft. I expect an answer when I ask that question. My receipt clearly shows a custom charge of 50 cents, for a side of sauce that I did not receive. It was actually supposed to be a dollar because I ordered 2 sides. I sent a message and was told that I was not charged, end of reply. I replied that I was. Instead of sending a refund, they sent me a copy of the current receipt that clearly shows a 50 cent custom charge on it. I am not the blind one here. I messaged again asking what the charge was for, if not for the sauce. No reply. I am also tired of tipping on takeout just to have no one check the orders and for it to go out wrong, no more. What is the tip for? It was 2 items, juice, and some sauce, not hard to get right. Tip in cash only if your order is correct. A normal response would also be to apologize for getting the order wrong to begin with. I have not received another response or a refund so I take it that they feel entitled to take money for items not given. It is not about the amount of money, just the audacity and bad business practices. Shameful behavior. There is nothing special about the menu here so something better will eventually take its place.

While Happy Poochie has been open for years, their short hours (11am-2:30pm M-F) make it hard to coordinate with my husband with days off. We came in not long after they opened at 11am on Monday, July 27th and stayed about an hour chatting even after we finished our meals. I got the cold hand cuke sandwich with a soda, while my parents split a sandwich (that I didn't hear the name of but had turkey on it), my mom choosing a canned tea and my dad getting a fountain drink lemonade. My mom almost got some chips, but they didn't have the healthier chips that she prefers. This spot was super cozy as well as clean. My dad used the restroom and reported back that it was well maintained. They have a cute porch area to enjoy on nice days like today, but we opted to stay inside. This was all of our first time here and we're very impressed with Happy Poochie Eatery. I very much would recommend finding a way to come out and try a sandwich or salad, though the hours do make that hard for the standard 9-5 worker. Thanks so much Happy Poochie Eatery for the fantastic food and I can't wait to come again!
