I was walking around Georgetown and was craving a bagel so I found this place on google maps. I looove bagels, and this one was good! Just not the one of the best bagels I've had. I got a plain bagel with bacon and egg (no cheese because I'm lactose intolerant). The bacon and egg were a little on the greasy side and the plain bagel itself was just okay. Don't get me wrong, it was a good bagel sandwich and I enjoyed it! Just didn't blow me away. The cashier and guy who made my bagel was nice and polite though and it wasn't busy so my order came out fast and hot. There are a few seats inside if you wanted to eat at the place.
Stopped into Cafe Con Bagel on my walk around Georgetown and lovedddd it. I ordered a hot mocha and a beef empanada. The mocha was hot, tasty, and perfect for warming me up. The empanada was flavorful and not skimpy on the inside stuffing. I like that you can take the stairs down to additional indoor and outdoor seating that gives the vibe of being tucked away. I definitely want to come back and try their bagels and more coffee!

For a good bagel sandwich, head to this small cafe along Wisconsin Avenue NW in Georgetown. Walking in on a Friday in June around 10:30am, I ordered right away. Within five minutes, I was downstairs eating the "Georgetown Breakfast," one of five house specials. The bagel sandwich itself was tasty and filling. Egg, sausage, and American cheese comes on an everything bagel. It was full of flavor and had the right salt amount.
Bagels are sandwiched with a stack of toppings, great portion. Beef empanada was yum, the exterior was a perfect texture and the inside had a good flavor. Downstairs had cute indoor and outdoor seating. Loved the peak through window of the cats next door.
Located in Georgetown super convenient for a quick bite while shopping. Steak Con Queso (5/5): Delicious steak bagel - tasted like a philly cheese steak. Big heaps of meat and super cheesy. Super yummy and toasted well. Came out very fast too. Would come back to this place in a heartbeat.
Cute place with a few seats upstairs and plenty of seating downstairs. They're next to a kitten cafe and there's a window between the two so you can see all the cats. I ordered the Federal Chorizo and it was good! The sandwich comes out hot and slightly crispy on the outside. The flavors are nice, exactly what you expect it to taste like. It was just heavier than I was expecting, the meat was thick-cut and made the whole sandwich greasy. This sandwich is messy and the oil covered the bottom half of the bagel. I can see this being really good as a hangover meal or if you're starving, but it was a bit much for me at the time.
After a long run, my friend and I stopped by Café con Bagel this morning to treat ourselves to a bagel sandwich. By 10:30 AM, it was pretty busy, but we waited about 15 minutes before our bagel arrived. THE GRID-LOX - 13 This lox bagel comes with cream cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, smoked salmon, and onions. Unfortunately, we found it pretty underwhelming. The plain bagel was served at room temperature, like it hadn't been toasted or heated at all. There were some pieces of smoked salmon, but they didn't cover the entire bagel, so my last few bites were mainly bagel and cream cheese. We asked for light cream cheese, but the layer was still too thick. The lettuce felt like an odd addition, and didn't really add much to the sandwich. The only thing I liked was the tomatoes, which made the sandwich less dry. My friend ordered an iced vanilla coffee, but they accidentally gave her an iced vanilla tea instead. She still enjoyed the drink, though. The interior is pretty small with limited seating, so it's definitely more of a grab-and-go spot. Personally, I think there are better bagel places in the area, so I probably won't come back to this one.
Cafe Con Bagel is a small but really cute spot to grab bagels and drinks. My friends said the bagels were really good--I didn't try one myself, but they looked fresh and well-made. I ordered the cherry blossom matcha, and it was delicious! A little on the sweeter side, so I'd probably ask for less sugar next time, but it tasted great and looked beautiful. Definitely an Instagram-worthy drink. Everything was very affordable, and the overall vibe was cozy and welcoming. Great place to stop by for a quick bite or a pretty drink!

Cute little café and bagel shop located in the heart of Georgetown. I stumbled upon this shop while walking to the Waterfront and was drawn in by the lovely, minimalistic storefront flooded by natural light from their giant window, as well as the charming little outdoor seating area in the back. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is pretty efficient; there's usually a bit of a line, so it might take a bit to get through the line, but the food comes out quickly once you place your order. I decided to get their Capitol Omelette sandwich, a classic breakfast sandwich with eggs, onions, mushrooms, mayo, and American cheese. The sandwich was solid, especially when eaten while hot, and the combination of the gooey melted cheese and mayo made it incredibly rich. It was, sadly, a smidge too rich for my taste -- it felt a bit greasy with all the mayo and cheese, as well as a bit too salty, so I ended up feeling a bit ill after eating it (but, again, that's really just a matter of my taste). The bagel itself was solid; it was quite chewy and a nice outer shell, but it was a bit more dense / heavy than I would have preferred.
In the morning around 8 am there was plenty of free parking for me on the side streets which helps me decide on a place when driving from Maryland. A friendly place with constant regulars, door dash orders and every customer getting a awesome welcome. I chose the Bolivian Drip and the flavor was amazing. There's a nice downstairs area seating for your private talks. The breakfast chorizo sounded interesting , I think the empanadas are more popular. It's like I arrived at a friendly neighborhood place and they welcomed me like a neighbor. Short walk from M Street. I'm going to be back.
The sign advertising the horchata matcha immediately caught my attention, so I had to give it a try. The two flavors complement each other well, although as someone who prefers horchata, I'd probably just go for the homemade horchata that they sell. read more
Randomly found this spot walking around the area. Normally I wouldn't care for a coffee and bagel combo location because the coffee usually isn't great, but this spot had really good coffee and really good bagel sandwich options. I got the Federal Chorizo on a plain bagel and a cortado. The cortado had a perfect amount of sweetness and the espresso seemed to be extracted at the right temperature. 5/5 for the coffee. The food was yummy as well, the chorizo was savory and didn't have an odd taste like at most places. The lettuce, onion and tomato in the bagel were very fresh! The only complaint, if I were to say it's a complaint, is that the sandwich was very big, difficult to eat so I took out the veggies. 4.5/5 for the bagel. read more
We stopped in here while in Georgetown for a quick snack- it's a small place off the main road. The staff was very friendly and pleasant- the menu is fairly large for a little place- we got a latte and a bagel with egg, bacon and cheese- It was great! Perfectly cooked and the flavors went together nicely! We shared it so it was a perfect, high protein snack for midday- There are seats downstairs and a small counter by the window- they also give a student discount - nice touch for a local Place! An unassuming bagel shop tucked into a corner of Georgetown. Interestingly they sell both bagels and empanadas! My friend and I tried the bagel with lox, which is always a classic and the Georgetown breakfast bagel. The bagel itself felt fresh, well toasted, and had the chewy bagel texture. The ingredients were well packed and there was just enough cream cheese. Interior and outdoor seating. There's even a downstairs with more seating! read more

I've walked past this place a bunch but never stopped in. I finally tried for the first time (ordered through DoorDash) and it was amazing. Chorizo bagel was flavorfuland it was well packaged/still warm. read more
I found the bagel to be average--slightly better than grocery store bagels, but not worth the high price in my opinion. I ordered "The Gridlox" on Everything, which features smoked salmon and cream cheese. Unfortunately, the everything bagel lacked the bite and sharp taste typical of a New York bagel. It was a bit dense and dry. Additionally, there was an excessive amount of whipped cream cheese that overpowered the smoked salmon, red onion, and everything seasoning. The inside basement seating is casual but not as nice as the other cafes and outdoor seating options around Georgetown. With that said, the bagel was prepared quickly, so the wait wasn't long. read more
Located in a very lively area of Georgetown. There is some seating in the basement with about 4 indoor tables and 4 outdoor tables. We were lucky enough to snag an outdoor table which was very clean and shaded. I ordered a create your own breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel with egg, Turkey, and avocado. It was brought out very fast-probably less than 5 minutes. The only criticism I would give is that the egg patty was pretty dry. If I knew it were an egg patty and not a fresh egg, I probably would've made a different selection. The iced hibiscus tea was very flavorful and on an unseasonably warm November day it really hit the spot. read more
I don't even know what a Bolivian bagel is but if this is it then I think I like Bolivian bagels - I ordered the special cookies y crema bagel despite being in a savory mode simply bc oreo cream cheese is a rarity and I'm not going to turn that down - the cream cheese was whipped which was so nice with the sweet cream cheese that had major potential to be sickly, super light and fluffy like a frosting, 9/10 - the bagel came with a blueberry bagel and I even asked the lovely man behind the counter if that was his recommended pairing. he said yes bc the sweetness are different kinds and the bagel was good but like it tasted good by itself not in a complimentary way. - decent bagel (5/10) but not somewhere I'd order a simple sandwich from bc it could not carry on its own read more

We ordered the Steak con queso, sesame bagel with dill/garlic cream cheese, beef empanada, and apple empanada, and a latte. 10/10 on everything. We came around 11:30, nothing was unavailable, it all came out very fast. They have extra seating downstairs and a little patio space for warmer weather. Very cut and absolutely delicious. I'll be coming back and checking to see if I can order online. read more

Such a perfect spot for lunch that isn't too crowded even in the middle of Georgetown! I loved that the outdoor seating felt so quiet and secluded in the middle of such a busy area. The bagel sandwiches are such generous portion sizes and my iced matcha was so yummy. All of the staff were so friendly, this is definitely a hidden gem! read more
Took a run to Georgetown to try this new bagel place. I LIVE for a good bagel sandwhich. The barista was super friendly and took my order right away. I got an iced lavender latte and a BELTway bagel. Coffee: honestly this wasn't my favorite. However, this place is new so i would definitely give their coffee another shot Bagel; this was a decent bagel. Best bagel place in DC! My friend and I came across this place shortly after it opened and it's now our go-to bagel place. The staff is SO friendly and the bagel sandwiches are amazing. I usually get the Georgetown or the Federal Chorizo breakfast sandwich. They also have baked empanadas that are reasonably priced and delicious! Unfortunately, it's a small space so if it's busy it's difficult to find seating. read more

I only ordered pickup from here as I was in a rush and wanted to try this place so I didn't get the full experience but just from what I saw this place is amazing! Ambiance - N/A: There is extra seating downstairs although I did not get to see it since I just came in to pick up my food Price - 4/5: I got a iced mocha and beef empanada which was about $13 after tax (ordered on doordash). Didn't feel like I overpaid necessarily since this is the price of things these days Food - 5/5: The iced mocha w/ oatmilk was fantastic! It was not too sweet and I swear it may have been even colder than normal because it was so refreshing. The empanada was baked fresh and the pastry was soft with a hint of sweetness that blended perfectly with the savory of the beef. I highly recommend this place! Service - 5/5: The barista taking my order was knowledgable and friendly and he explained that they were a newer shop. He was super kind and had great energy all around! read more

the beef and chicken empanadas were on the dry side, sadly :( i think i prefer fried over baked empanadas. the downstairs seating area is small but nice, esp the outdoor seats. there's also a window that connects to the cat cafe next door! read more

Nice, new establishment with friendly and helpful staff. I ordered the egg and veggie breakfast bagel sandwich (breakfast available all day) and enjoyed the seating area downstairs. The bagel was hot, delicious and fresh. They also have outside seating. It's a nice, relaxing place to bring your laptop and get some work done. read more

Food and coffee were great! I ordered an iced coffee and the dulce de leche bagel, both of which were tasty and properly priced. (Maybe even on the cheaper side for Georgetown.) the staff was very friendly and passionate about what they do. Extra seating downstairs with a nice vibe. Bathroom and Wi-fi available. read more
I was super excited to try this spot - loved the concept of bagels with a Spanish twist. I thought the bagel sandwiches felt flat to me - bagels weren't as soft as I wanted and the actual sandwich felt plain. I did enjoy their drip coffee a lot. Prices are also expensive but then again it's Georgetown read more
