Great little corner coffee shop right next to the hotel. I ordered a cappuccino, and it was exactly what I needed--rich, well-balanced, and full of great roast flavor. The outdoor seating made the whole morning feel even more relaxing and enjoyable.

Got thirsty while shopping at The Ovation & decided to try this cafe despite seeing the mixed reviews. Horchata con espresso - Decent. You can taste the horchata. Nothing to go back for though. Thai style cold brew - Would not recommend. The cardamom overwhelmed the entire drink & made it taste funky (not in the good way). We asked for more condensed milk but that barely helped. I think losing the cardamom would do the drink way more justice.

Was in the area and decided to get a drink from here. The outside and everything looked nice. The drinks weren't the best. The matcha didn't taste like matcha. It literally tasted like grass. And the over taste after drinking it tasted gross

I love café de leche! Ever since I tried it out in their York Blvd location I fell in love with it. My two favorites are their latte campesino which is like café de olla but better because it's coffee brew with star anise, piloncillo and orange peels, their drip coffee and their Mexi mocha. You can't go wrong with any of their drinks. Today I tried their Thai style cold brew and eventhough I am not a big fan of iced coffee it was amazing! FYI this location is a coffee stand inside Ovation in Hollywood Blvd; so if you're visiting this side of town you already know where you can get delicious coffee while wandering around the stores/plaza. They also have pastries, smoothies and burritos. Nicest people working here for sure.

    Americano. Horrible taste

Their coffee tastes horrible. The service is slow although it wasn't busy. The prices are high but don't worth the service and the quality of the coffee. Two - just because they validate parking. Not recommended.

Drinks were great, I got the horchata con espresso and my mom got a capuccino. The horchata con leche is a unique flavor that I haven't had at a coffee shop before. Perfect balance of sweet horchata and bitter espresso. Service was quick and the baristas were friendly. I also really like the design of the shop, it's very artsy and modern. Clear prices on the menu. 4.75 for the capuccino and 5.75 for the horchata con espresso.

Just grabbed a ham & cheese croissant and a coffee at Cafe de Leche -- and wow. A thousand times better than Starbucks (actually, probably ten thousand). The croissant was warm, fresh, and buttery, the coffee smooth and delicious. And the best part? I waited maybe 90 seconds. Super quick, super tasty. I'll definitely be coming back.

Thai Style Cold Brew - with coconut condensed milk with cardamom

Needed a midday pick-me-up so stopped by Cafe De Leche. I ordered the Thai style cold brew thinking there was gonna be a little more umph of flavor but it was actually quite light. Couldn't really taste the coconut condensed milk or the cardamon as listed on the menu. The server was friendly and fast with the order though.

Cute little coffee and pastry shop near the Chinese Theater. I ordered a double espresso and an almond croissant and had it on my way to the parking lot. I didn't try the espresso until I was almost to the car and realized just how good it was. I would have gone back and bought a couple of pounds of the coffee if I had more time. It was that good. The croissant was delicious too, flaky and the outside and soft on the inside.

I didn't expect this from a coffee kiosk in a tourist shopping center on Hollywood boulevard. I can also say that I have had worse products from designated coffee roasters. Kudos to you for taking pride in the product that you sell to represent your brand.

Worst customer service. Thursday 7/17/25 2:42pm the guy working was hating his life. The place was empty and still has me rushing taking my order! I should've read the reviews before buying from here.

The main thing that stands out here is their 1987 coffee roaster which is the center piece of the cafe. They roast various single origin beans on a daily basis, so you know you can purchase some fresh coffee beans here. If you need your beans grounded, they do grind it for you depending on your brewing method. They have beans of light roast, medium roast and dark roast and sell by various weights for a very reasonable price. They also sell various tea leaves, baked goods (croissant, muffin, scones, bagel, Danish, coffee cake, Dessert Therapy cookies, and merchs. They also have a seasonable menu that changes. When I went, it was the Sakura season menu. Staff were all friendly and were very willing to answer any questions regarding the menu. Please note, the base coffee blend for each day varies and rotates on a daily basis For my visit, I tried ... 1. Buttered Coffee (4.5/5) The base coffee for the day was the Peru single origin, which was well-balanced; slightly sweet with a hint of tartness and nuttiness. They then add a chunk of butter into the coffee, which helps cut some of the acidity, but also is supposed to enhance the caffeine effect and give you additional energy from the fat. It does leave a layer of fat/oiliness so if you are not a fan of that, then this may not be for you. The butter did give it a subtle buttery flavor, which I personally liked. 2. Matcha with Sakura Cold Foam (4/5) The matcha was blended smoothly and was not grassy at all. The Sakura cold foam didn't really taste like Sakura (been to Japan, so know what real Sakura flavor should taste like), but instead, just tasted floral. 3. Columbia Supremo Whole Beans Full body and aromatic. Good for those who like to drink black coffee 4. Guatemala Huehuetenango Whole Beans: Crisp, acidic and a hint of nuttiness Glad I found this local roaster where I'll definitely be coming back to get some more fresh beans.

I also ordered a pastry and was surprised they don't have an oven to warm it up, which made the experience less enjoyable. She was genuinely engaged in talking about coffee, understood the beans she was serving, and was able to answer questions without hesitation. That's becoming harder to find these days, and it definitely added to the overall experience. The cortado itself was well executed. The temperature was right where it should be, allowing the flavors to come through immediately without having to wait for the drink to cool down. I was able to clearly taste the notes in the coffee, and the balance between the espresso and milk was excellent. The body held together nicely throughout the drink and never felt thin or watered down. My only critique would be that the crema and microfoam leaned a little more matte and foamy than glossy. It wasn't enough to take away from the drink, but a slightly silkier, shinier texture would have elevated it even further. That said, this was an Ethiopian natural, which can be a bit trickier to dial in and pair with milk while still preserving the character of the coffee, so it's a fairly minor criticism. Overall, a very good cortado from a shop that clearly cares about coffee. Good execution, proper temperature, clear flavor separation, and knowledgeable staff always make for a better coffee experience.

The minimalist decor, bathroom art ('butt' of course, insider joke when you partake in the porcelain palace) and quick turnaround is a recommended template for other coffee shops. What I love is their consistency. They follow a recipe that is dialed in to the nuances of the particular coffee beans and it tastes great every single time. My go-to is their pour over coffee.
