The workers were also friendly and helpful. It was my first time in St. Louis and at the Foundry, and it was my only ordered meal in the city (short trip). So glad it was this satisfying. My only "complaint" is that small bones hide a bit in the food, but just be careful while eating and you're fine.

The seasoning was fine on the jerk chicken although I've had juicer and tastier jerk chicken elsewhere. But I had a problem when I discovered they only gave me one little chicken leg, (that was slightly dried out) along with three pieces of chicken back meat which was like three small pieces, almost morsels. However, the two sides that came with the jerk chicken that were rice & beans along with boiled cabbage tasted good and plentiful so I didn't leave hungry but I'd still say the amount of chicken left me wanting more. I won't likely be going back to this place especially with so many quality dining choices at the foundry. The foundry building is very cool and my server at the counter was okay as well. But although the food tasted decent I wasn't floored by anything about this restaurateur at the foundry STL.

Service was quick and our waiter was nice and knowledgeable. Very friendly. I go a coffee and my "friend" got a mimosa. We got the buttermilk biscuits to share and I got the breakfast sandwich. Everything was so delicious. I accidentally dropped my fork on the patio floor and it fell through a crack in the wood and I was too embarrassed to say anything. Everything was amazing and I would love to come back and try some new things like the delicious looking baked goods.

We got an order of cinnamon roll and we were sharing but never got little plates with it and it was super messy to eat. we never could get our waiters attention to ask .It was very tasty however. We had brunch cocktails. the bloody mary's were good and so was the white wine sangria. I had the special sandwich which was meatloaf wrapped in bacon with an egg which was tasty. the biscuits and gravy was huge and tasty. The BLATE SANDWICH on grilled sourdough was also good. I enjoy russell's better at dinner. Brunch (or at least today's ) is too noisy and crazy. Our waiter was pleasant and brought me a piece of chocolate torte to take home as we were celebrating my birthday.

I stopped in for brunch after my visit to the Tower Grove Farmers Market, I wasn't sure I was…read moredressed for it but they said no worries and asked my seating preference. I opted for the bar. Later I did see other guests arrive that were not fancy either, so I felt better. You could be fancy and fit right in, though. Angela was my server at the bar and she was top notch! Giving me time to review the menu but also jumping in to answer questions. I wanted to try a drink and the cocktails look amazing so I will have to come back to try a couple, they had a list of Spirit Free and I went with the Stappi Spritz. It was bright and refreshing with a bit of bitter and I really enjoyed it. So many food options looked good, I took a bit to decide and then went with the Starter of Oeufs et Mayo and would go from there. When it arrived I felt it looked like a dish on a cooking competition show - it was so pretty. Angela indicated a great way to eat it was to get a scoop of everything and put it on the LF grilled bread and that is what I did! So very good! All the flavors went well together, the burst of salty goodness from the trout roe and the grilled bread, fantastic. Even with so many other Plates to try, I will have a hard time not ordering those jammy eggs again. Extras included Crispy Fingerling Potatoes fried with rosemary and served with romesco aioli, they were good and a large enough serving to share. The rosemary is definitely part of the dish but I ordered with the knowledge that I now like rosemary. I also wanted to try the Sage and Fennel Sausage, they were in patty form and the order came with 2 and they were large. It was decent, I wanted more sage and fennel for my taste. Angela set me up with go boxes so I could enjoy my meal again as leftovers! Great food, great service. Can't wait to go back again!

We ordered five small plates and all were very nicely executed. -scallops: While these were good, they were my least favorite of the bunch. They were tender and the sauce was nice, but they were a tad small only came with three. For the price, I thought other dishes were more hearty. -mussels: They were cooked perfectly and had a savory broth that was great to dip the grilled bread in. -Royal trumpet mushrooms: These were recommended by our server and they were great. The combo of the rich soubise with the vinaigrette gave them a good flavor punch. -short ribs: We both loved the sweet and spicy sauce on the short ribs. The short ribs were thinly sliced and tender. Very tasty. -Cavatelli: This was the standout dish of the night for us. The handmade pasta and summer vegetables were so fresh and had such great flavor. Basically summer in a bowl and a generous portion size. We are both big eaters and 5 small plates felt like a good amount with no leftovers to take home. I will say the tables inside are very close together. So much so that I felt like I was in our neighbor's conversation and it was difficult to hear our own conversation. We did have a lovely evening at Little Fox and we would return for a date night or special occasion.

Can every hospital have a cafeteria like this? I was…read moreabsolutely blown away by the options and the friendliness of everyone in the cafeteria. It's clean, neat, organized, easy to find what you want with lots of options changing daily. We were here for a week after my mom got surgery so ate here quite a lot and I was blown away day after day. They offer fried foods and a grill with burgers and that type of stuff. Multiple soups. Sandwich bar, sushi, salad bar, and home style cooking. They have an array of drinks to choose from along with different types of coffee. My favorite was the roasted red pepper bisque. One of the nurses taking care of my mom had recommended it. Oh my gosh! It was SO good and all the employees were so excited when they saw me scooping a cup out. They all said it was their favorite as well. One day I had a steak salad thing with fries. It was kind of an odd combo but it worked and actually really hit the spot. Their chicken tenders are good and massive. Their fries are good. I was pleased with most meals I ate there. Its fast and cheap and the fact they have healthy options is great! For a hospital I was really shocked by the quality. Hospitals where im from the food is insanely expensive and taste aweful. Give it a try, you may be surprised. I know I sure was!

I am on special diets and I found the food to be excellent. I was able to request a green salad with lunch and dinner and greatly appreciate the accommodation that I received. I was on a consistent carbohydrate diet, and it offered me more carbs in the way of breads than I usually choose at home, but that was no problem, I just left those items on the plate. The selections were good and the food warm upon arrival. They do have a limited selection of items that can be substituted for the daily chef specials of the two meal choices that you are given. In all truth, it was nice not having to cook or figure out what to eat for a couple days. Food was fresh and had good flavor though lacking salt, so luckily I could add that to the food when it arrived in my room. While it is true that 'There's no place like home,' I greatly appreciate the efforts of those working in the kitchen to make my stay pleasant and with tempting offerings.

Salsa is this weird thick type that after a couple bites I found disgusting. The chips were pretty good. The shrimp were ok, but no onions and the green and red peppers were basically wet mush. Nothing was even warm except for the shrimp. Mexican food in saint louis is overall pretty awful but this place is the bottom of the barrel of the already bad options in this city Maybe other things here are good but the things I got were not worth any amount of money
