    4 Piece Byrek - spinach

As soon as we walked into Arber Cafe, we were greeted by a big smile by the Owner's daughter. If you are looking to try Albanian food - this is a good spot to try! We tried the Petulla, fried dough with pistachios & drizzled honey,it was delicious! We also tried the Bryke with spinach. It was crisp and fresh! For the mains, we tried the special for the day which was goat cheese and olive spread on the bread topped with sunny side eggs and salad. It was well made with fresh ingredients. We also had the Sufflaqe - which was delicious lamb wrapped in a pita! Everything was freshly made and delicious. We tired the cold latte as well and it was very good! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor of the cafe is an homage to their Albanian's culture[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

Arber Cafe is an Albanian coffee shop and cafe in South St. Louis. We went there on a Sunday instead of going to a more well known brunch spot that was overcrowded a block away. We were pleasantly surprised with the excellent service, authentic food, and delicious coffee. We tried Byrek and the Arber breakfast which featured scrambled eggs with feta, Albanian meatballs, fried potatoes, bread, and homemade jam. Everything was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Highly recommend giving it a try!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Chic smaller cafe with vibrant floral and wonderful owner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Owner does speak limited English but her food is fantastic. Sufllaqe was mouthwatering and good portion. The Turkish coffee was also great tasting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I felt like it was a mini experience of Albania.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We love this restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We enjoy the atmosphere of a small, local, family run business.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And yes, the family is from Albania! We have tried and loved the Arber's breakfast plate, the watermelon salad, Ali Pash, a parfait, the Byrek filo pie. And more delicious food we haven't even tried. ...and, all very sweet people.

This is the place to go. Let me start off by saying, this is the best Breakfast Sandwich I've ever had in my life. I absolutely loved the Egg Breakfast Sandwich & Salad. The flavors were so delicious and perfectly balanced. And let me tell you about the French Vanilla Latte- it was hands down the best tasting latte I've ever had. The person next to me even expressed that themselves. The service was amazing, such lovely charisma. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was so relaxing with a cozy & calm serene.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I can't wait to come back!

Wonderful food! Definitely worth trying. I enjoyed the Albanian food. It is so stick-to-your ribs delicious and filling. This restaurant has limited hours in the evenings on weekends. It is located on the corner and you order from a menu at a bar and then find a seat in their small dining room. I hope to return soon to try some of the other offerings at this establishment.

I fell in love with the service from sweet Eli in addition to the atmosphere, the fresh coffee, the desserts and homemade breakfast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute tables and bench, fresh herbs, honestly homemade.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is no comparable food like this. Every other breakfast place is the same but this is not. You can't beat it. The prices are perfect. The spices are perfect. And it's super healthy. I'll be there regularly.

I've been driving by this place for the last few years since moving to south city and it's always been a place I wanted to try! I'm so happy I decided to swing in today because my goodnessssssss this might be my new spot!! I've never had Albanian food, and I have to say my first experience was TOP NOTCH. The woman working the counter www so sweet and kind and really helped me with the menu. I ended up getting the Ali Pash and the Petulla as dessert. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere took me by surprise- the inside was so cute and welcoming and really was my "ideal" cafe vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The windows and plants oh my oh my!!! Will be coming back and I'll most definitely be showing this spot to my friends :)

The cafe is family owned and very cute! Gives you a homey yet Mediterranean vibe. It's extremely clean and organized. The food is extremely fresh and homemade. It was also very affordable and a generous amount of food. The family is so welcoming and kind as well as very humble. Looking at the menu I was nervous if I would have enjoyed anything on it. However the quiche was so light and airy. The Mediterranean omelet was so fresh and light and the potatoes were extremely soft and delicious! The side salad although an odd combination was super yummy! The French vanilla coffee felt like I took a trip to Europe! It was strong and delicious! In the end they surprised us with a complimentary fresh pressed orange juice and we were in heaven! Definitely will come back to support this small cafe!

I'll be up front and disclose that I AM NOT A SALAD PERSON. The closest form of a salad that I eat would be a chicken Caesar wrap laden with dressing and cheese and carbs with probably 2000 calories. That said, boy was my elote salad at Neon Greens enjoyable. It is a lil pricey but worth it once I dug in and really enjoyed myself and learned more about the shop and their mission. They grow everything themselves - so cool. I love the friendly employees and the really really fresh greens and combinations. I got the cheese bread but was really close to ordering the soup instead. I'll skip the bread and try the soup next time. No matcha soft serve available the day that I went.

You walk into this older building and it just opens up into this bright, clean, almost energizing space . I went with the Umami Crunch with tofu and... yeah, this is the kind of place that makes you realize how rare a really good salad is. Like, when do you ever eat a salad and think, "the lettuce is incredible"? That happened here. Everything tasted fresh in a way that's hard to explain unless you've had it. And then you find out why--they literally have a hydroponic farm attached. Not just for show either... they do tours, and a lot of what you're eating is coming straight from there. It makes the whole experience feel different in the best way. The portions are huge, super filling, and still somehow feel light and clean. I also grabbed a local blue spirulina kombucha that ended up being one of the best I've had. If you keep wandering toward the back, it turns into this almost maze-like space, and on weekends they do a pop-up called Biscuit Town with breakfast items (including vegan options). It just keeps going. Honestly, I walked in craving a REALLY good salad and left wondering why it's so hard to find places like this. This is one of those spots you go to once and immediately know you'll be back.

I'm disappointed that it took me so long to make my way here. They won me over with the tiny dedicated parking lot. At my big age, difficult parking situations are a turn off and I will go home if I can't get reasonable parking. I was able to snag a space in the lot and headed in. The space is a bit dark with rich sage, brass, and terracotta. There are several hanging plants making it an inviting place. The bar has plenty of comfortable seating and cozy tables if you decide to bring some friends. Caleb was our server during our visit. He was an absolute delight. He made excellent cocktail suggestions. He looked after our group without being overly doting. Just a gem of a human. We tried approximately 9 cocktails during our visit. Did I mention we were at brunch! I highly recommend the peach bite and the Side Car. Every cocktail is thoughtfully made and well executed. They offer a small brunch menu along with the regular menu. I usually always get chilaquiles when they are available. But today the ruby trout and grits sounded perfect. This dish was amazing!! The trout was thin with crispy skin. The grits were creamy and delicious. The dish is topped with a house made radish pico and salsa macha. We also ordered a breakfast sandwich that was paired with the crispiest breakfast potatoes I've ever had. The burger and fries are also a good option. The seasoning on the fries is next level. The brunch menu has a sticky toffee roll that is a perfect size for sharing or not. Salty sweet fork tender cinnamon roll. Lastly, the deviled eggs were a group favorite. I am a big fan of Passenger Chili Crisp. If you are unfamiliar please look them up! It's hands down the best chili crisp I've ever had. It's locally made here in STL and can also be found in several dishes at restaurants around town. The eggs were creamy with the right amount of tang from the mustard. The chili crisp made these deviled eggs easily top five best I've ever had! Planning to stop in again soon for happy hour with more friends
