I ordered the Tiramisu Tulip Cake for my daughter's birthday. She was so surprised how beautiful the cake was that she had a tough time cutting it. The cake was too beautiful. When we all tasted it, the cake was moist and not too sweet. The baker was responsive, talented and I highly recommend this baker. I can't wait to order more.
Caitlyn did an amazing job with my son's first birthday cake! Communication was quick and to the point, and I loved her design suggestions. The cake looked beautiful and tasted even better. Everyone loved it - it wasn't too sweet or dense, which was perfect. We were really happy with how it turned out!
We ordered my daughter's 3rd birthday cake from Caitlyn's Sweets, and it was absolutely perfect. I was referred by a friend who had previously ordered from here, and I'm so glad we went with her for such a special occasion. I wanted a custom cake to match my daughter's Minnie's Boutique theme with specific colors and design details, and she made the process incredibly easy. I reached out through Instagram, and she was very responsive, helpful, and had lots of flavor options to choose from. I shared an inspiration photo, and she recreated it beautifully while adding her own creative touch; it came out exactly how I envisioned. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted delicious. So many guests complimented the cake! Pricing was fair, pickup was smooth, and the packaging made it easy to transport and store before the party. It held up perfectly and was still fresh and delicious when served later. I would absolutely order from her again and can't wait to try more flavors. Highly recommend!
As a self-proclaimed cake snob, I have pretty high standards: I look for a cake that's moist, spongy, not overly sweet, and has a little bit of denseness to it. Caitlyn's Sweets not only met all those marks but exceeded them! I typically order from Linda's Bakery, but they weren't able to accommodate my wedding. So, based on a recommendation from another picky friend, I decided to take a chance on Caitlyn's. It was a complete blind purchase, and I couldn't be happier with the results. For our wedding, I ordered a three-tier durian cake with a simple matte black finish (my florist handled the flowers). Everyone was thoroughly impressed, and to my slight dismay, there wasn't a single slice left; a true testament to how delicious it was! I recently ordered a durian sheet cake because I had a craving and were going to be hanging out with friends that love durian. This time, I didn't have any specific decoration requests, simply telling them I was ordering it "just to eat." Eventually, I decided on telling them I wanted it black; that's all. I really appreciate and enjoy their style of decorating as it's more modern and with the times than those old school generic fruit or flowers decor. The care they put into packaging was evident; the cake came in a very tall box, ensuring it arrived in perfect condition, especially since some decorations were sticking up. The friends I was with said it was better than the wedding cake, noting it was even more moist. Considering their durian cake from my wedding left me dreaming about it, this recent order was an incredible bonus. If you're looking for an authentic and delicious durian cake, I highly recommend Caitlyn's Sweets. It's so good, I'd literally drive from Reno to San Jose just to satisfy a craving!
Another fantastic birthday cake and cupcakes in the books with Caitlyn's Sweets! I love how easy it is to just tell her the theme, send her a coly of the invitation and she just delivers on flavor and decor! I am still a durian flavor stan! But the pandan is a close 2nd! A lovely experience from the texting to the seamless delivery! Would most definitely recommend and be a threepeat customer!

Caitlyn is awesome to work with. I've ordered prob 5 cakes or more from her already either for myself or my family and friends. Cakes are always beautiful and delicious. I ordered a cake for my nephew's 1st birthday and it turned out amazing! I gave a photo for inspiration for the color and the theme. She exceeded my expectations! The cake was also super delicious. We ordered the vanilla cake with fresh strawberries. It was moist and the frosting wasn't too sweet which is perfect. Most cakes we get are extremely sweet, everyone went in for seconds! Caitlyn has been my go-to for any event, big or small! She had been making cakes for my kids' birthdays since my kids were 2 and my oldest is now 7. Every time she's made our customs cakes not only above and beyond, but the flavors are amazing, we always get compliments from our guests! Even the "simple" naked cakes I've ordered for my baby shower and/or simple event looked beautiful. I also order her cupcakes and they have been just as yummy and gorgeous. The cakes Caityln makes are not only aesthetically pleasing but they are also delicious too! She offers a variety of flavors including asian ones like matcha, ube, pandan, and durian ;) They are a very pleasant business to order with. I've ordered 3 cakes from her before. I ordered a cake for my son's birthday and was blown away when it was delivered! My son wanted a monster themed cake, but a very specific one from a game that he likes to play. I showed her in game art of that monster and did a small sketch to show her what I envisioned after a few back and forth messages. There were no detailed phone calls or any other way that I communicated what I wanted. Her skill at fondant is amazing! We ordered a strawberry cake, so underneath is a 3 layer strawberry cake with crème in between that had strawberry pieces. The fondant was thick, but it needed to be to structurally hold up the weight of the creation, as a whole. The cake was very moist and the fondant was actually not too sweet. This cake was just for the family, so it served 4 people two nights in a row. It was so well made that I was sad to have to cut into it. It lasted a 50 minute car ride, sitting out at a party, refrigerated, and brought back 50 minutes and refrigerated again looking just as amazing as it had when it was delivered. We got a lot of compliments at the party, not surprisingly. The cost for the amount of work was extremely reasonable. If you are looking for a very artistic baker, look no further. read more

I did a Carmel cookie crumble for my husbands birthday and then vanilla strawberry tres leches for a surprise party I threw recently. The guests could not stop eating it! Delicious cupcakes!! It's definitely a must try. All cupcakes are moist and the Swiss buttercream is light and not too sweet. My favorite flavor is the pandan. The custard she adds really compliments the pandan flavor. The ube has a very light ube flavor, the matcha was the same. The strawberries & cream cupcakes had a prominent strawberry flavor and the cream filling adds to the fresh strawberry flavor. (My fiancé's favorite.) The flower decorations are absolutely beautiful. I'll be using her for my wedding this summer. Caitlyn was really awesome to chat with and made sure my order was the way I wanted it.
