Worst service and the manager is rude. Gives me a drink that I didn't order and argues with the customer.

I had some of their cajun pasta and calamari, both were quite small serving sizes for their price. What put me off was adding shrimp to the pasta for 5.99 only to be given exactly five pieces of shrimp. The pasta had nothing cajun about it and served on a big plate to look bigger than it is, far too big for the small table! The pasta itself was nice, however it tasted like grocery store jar alfredo sauce. And the restaurant had far too loud music for so little people there, couldn't even talk properly to the server or family despite sitting so close on a tiny table. Would not recommend

A…read morelong time ago, in my mid to late 20s era, we would order seafood boil for Father's Day so this was very nostalgic for me. I've seen the sign for Sea Shack from Route 59 and finally got to try it when my sister was visiting Naperville. I called in an order and it was ready in 15 minutes. What we ordered for 3 adults: 1 lb peeled shrimp, mild, + corn + potatoes 1 lb black mussels, mild, + corn + potatoes 1 lb clams, mild 1 corn on the side 1 sausage on the side onion rings chicken tenders and fries 2 orders of rice We had plenty of food and enough for leftovers. My favorite part might be the cajun butter sauce with white rice... even more than the seafood. I love white rice with basically any sauce. The food was fresh, the sauce was mild as requested, still flavorful and not too salty. If you order the clams on its own, no sides, the bag might seem a little small but that's just because the clam meat is so small. For takeout, your seafood will come double bagged so it was leak proof. We decided to empty the bags into bowls since we were doing family style, and it was a hearty meal. I can't comment on the ambiance since it was a takeout order, but we enjoyed our food. We'll be back!

Took 45 mins (understandable for the catfish, I guess), but my sides were nearly cold. Their to go bags came with a sticker on top and it's my bad that I didn't check, but $40 and 45 mins or so later and they didn't even check. I called to tell them I'm coming back for it and they said that it sitting there and I can grab it. It's been or will be 40 mins sitting there! The sides I got were Mac and cheese (not good) and the yumbo (which was delicious and that's why I remembered I ordered gumbo or thought I did). I looked at the receipt and it was there but not in my bag. So disappointing. On the receipt it even said all to go. Sorryyyy :/ to tell their back staff. And picking it up, my daughter said they told her and my husband it was the same one sitting out! For 40 mins!! They didn't give them a new one when it was them who should've been on top of what they give out!

The portions are very generous. The turtle soup was very good but a little skimpy on the turtle. We got the oysters lola and they were also quite good. The alligator fricasse was very generous in portion including the portion of alligator meat. We had a large party of nine people, but we weren't told we couldn't divide the check nor was there a sign posted indicating that we couldn't do this. Automatic gratuity was added which was what we did expect for a large party, but not being able to divide the check was a huge pain in the ass. The size of the cup of soup was pretty nice overall, just needed more turtle.

This was a fun class where I really learned something about New Orleans cooking. Cheryl was so nice and made us feel so comfortable. I walked out of class feeling like i could make a great dinner and it wouldn't break the bank or take me 20 hours. The meal we made was delicious and most of the ingredients can be found at local stores including Walmart! This was not a stuffy pretentious class. This was a down to earth lets make good food class.

I attended a seafood boil cruise in St. Charles, hosted by Chef Che and also hired heard to cater a private event at my home. The food items at both were outstanding, but the service for both were a bit disappointing. As for the cruise, we pulled off later than scheduled and there was not enough food and daiquiris to go around. Additional food was being prepared at the dock and ultimately those who were missed and wanting more were taken care of. For my home gathering, Chef Che arrived more than an hour late. Chef did offer a discount for her tardiness but in looking at the final bill, it was higher than the original! Lol. Ultimately, she took off about 10%, which is less than hoped but better than nothing. That said, I would use her again but with better understanding and preparation of the time concerns. Would suggested requesting food 2.5 - 4 hours in advance of your private event. It was rather embarrassing to have 75% of my guest there ahead of the caterer.
