First time here. Had previously visited Louisiana for the first time and of course experienced their awesome food. That's what brought us here. I had a small gumbo and the Seafood pasta. Gumbo was great. It did lack a little flavor for my taste, but it was still great. The Seafood pasta with shrimp and crawfish was unbelievable!! It had so much flavor. My side was potatoes and they were awesome. They had an onion flavor to them, really really good. My hubby had the shrimp and gator combo basket. He said it was all good. Great Cajun flavor. But the Cajun fries did not have any Cajun seasoning on it. He said the fries were good, but just tasted like regular fries. We will be visiting again. read more

I really don't like to go any where else but the cajun corner :) so delicious and tasty and the food is fresh!! The spicy SNOW CRAB LEGS here are amazing!!!!!! the crawfish is the best i have ever tasted here being a spicy food eater :) The service was great, the waiter would keep up with the customers and got me plenty of drinks. The prices are great compared to other bigger name cajun places which i personally dont like as much as the comfort and taste of the food you get from this place. all in all my favorite cajun place in the area :) would recommend to all kinds of cajun food loving people :) read more

During crawfish season, I visit this place about once a week. The crawfish are usually very big! The sauce that it is cooked in is pretty much addicting. I always get "extra spicy" every time I go, but warning! You will be sweating! It is hot, but that does not over power the taste. I've also gotten boiled hrimp, Cajun pasta and Po boys but I go here mostly for boiled crawfish! read more

Food here is awesome, but the service is lacking. Food comes out hot and fresh, prices are reasonable. I had crawfish, my husband had fried catfish and shrimp. Some of the best we've had in the area. However, we went at lunch, they took our order, dropped it off and that was it as far as service was concerned. No drink refills or checking in to see if we needed anything. You pay at the counter when your finished. We will be back to this place for sure, but for the food and not the service. Want to try some of the étouffée and gumbo on our next trip, a little disappointed they do not have Po Boy sandwiches. read more

I love this place. The bus bugs during season are the best hands down in the DFW. I usually get the XHott crawfish. Don't be fooled thw spices are on point and will make you sweat it out. Aside from the crawfish everything else is great and flavored just right. Try the Cajun Pasta, you have choice of crawfish, sausage or chicken as the meat. The combination of crawfish and sausage is absolutely the best. The Dungeness crabs that they offer are not fresh. Not too many places in DFW serve fresh crab. FYI. Stopped by for a quick lunch, did not get one and so glad I did not. I ordered the seafood gumbo and watched them cook it to order. Each different type of seafood was added at a different time so in the end they were all cooked perfectly. I am somewhat of a gumbo snob and this is one of the few places that has met my approval. Been visiting them for over 10 years at their previous location. Spices and flavoring are still on point for the crawfish. Buttery, garlicky...mmmmmmm! With a family from Louisiana, my expectations were high. They pretty much met them. Crawfish Cajun pasta was delicious! Also, the catfish was just the way I like it...crunch outside and juicy inside. Me and my husband has been going to them for years for crawfish and seafood dinners. Never a time we weren't satisfied! There was a time we used to get corn with our crawfish when we bought 5 lbs (an extra pound was thrown in if the special was active) but now we have to purchase corn separately. This place is terrible! I went in here and sat down and the lady said the food would be out in 7 minutes. I explained that I had to leave to go to Dallas for an appointment and she assured me the food would be out within 7 to 10 minutes. 15 to 20 minutes later she came to my table and told me that their coach did not start on my food yet and it would not be ready. She said that she could offer me something else but I'd have to wait another 15 to 20 minutes. Terrible service didn't offer any kind of apology. I have never been in this place before and I never will go back. Avoid this place and go somewhere else take a look at the picture on my review for this establishment and let me know if you think this is the kind of place you'd like to go. These people know how long to cook their meats. I've tried their crawfish and catfish, and unlike every other restaurant I've ever been to, they weren't over or undercooked. I love this place. Anytime my friends come down to Arlington, this is the place I take them to. The Cajun corner crawfish pasta is by far the best pasta I've ever had, and I can never get enough. Whatever the secret sauce is that they put in it and in their fried rice is amazing. Their sweet potato fries are also some of the best I've tried. I also love that it's BYOB here. Not good, really not good. The food was bland, overly breaded on the fried items, and left a greasy film in your mouth. The grilled salmon was soooo bland. Cajun imo means flavor, they seemed to have missed the mark here. Ok...I'm seeing negative reviews about this place. This is not Eddie V's or Papadeaux, so dont walk in expecting that. This is a "mom & pop" smaller place. We've been here twice in the last two weeks. The first visit the service was superb (the short young lady with the glasses was very attentive), my wife and I both got shrimp Po boys. The shrimp are the popcorn style shrimp and are piled high. I don't mind them but my wife is picky and like the larger shrimp. However the bread and the batter make this sandwich for me. I could just eat the bread with whipped butter and be happy. The cajun fries are perfect as well as the fried pickles. 2nd visit, we walked in and we had to sit on the opposite side due to it being a little busy. A gentleman sat us and after 10 mins or so he never came back, so I had to go over to the counter and get him to take our drink and food order. Last time the sweet tea was good. This time it was very "syrupy" and my wife had it taken back in favor of an unsweet tea. I got the same thing as before, my wife got the Etouffee. She asked the waiter specifically does this come with popcorn shrimp of the larger shrimp, he said the larger shrimp. The kids shared chicken fingers and fries and the inhaled all those. No problem there. So out comes the Etouffee and behold SMALL SHRIMP. She was disappointed none the less and did kindly voice her displeasure. He was apologetic and offered to take it back. But, the taste was amazing and she kept it. Another thing I love is they bring you your own bottle of condiments. Ranch, ketchup, tartar cocktail etc...the ranch and the cajun fries for dipping are outrageously addicting. So long story short...expect mom and pop...Not Eddie V's or Papadeaux. This place is BYOB (says so on the window as you enter) but if you ask for a beer mug too bad, they don't have them. C'mon, get some freakin mugs and keep them in the freezer! I had the fried catfish/shrimp platter - pre-breaded frozen stuff, not the greatest. This is my second time here - last time I had the crawfish etouffe (that was tasty). I think alot of the stuff here might be pre-prepared frozen seafood as it's just missing the pop you get from a REAL cajun place. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Firstly, the service was slow and poor. I have no idea what was wrong with the server. He seemed very out of it. Also the food was terrible. It was served with very little veggies and the fries were burnt. My dad's coleslaw was super bad and seemed spoiled. Lastly, the food took forever to come out and yet the restaurant was not busy. I have eaten crawfish at a lot of places. Last night we had Rockfish, and it was really good. As a matter of fact we liked it so much, we wanted it again tonight! When we called to place a to-go order they said they had sold out. We started looking for other places that had live, fresh, crawfish and found Cajun Corner! I was a little reluctant since the reviews are mixed but we ordered anyway (thank goodness)! We ordered 4 pounds. 2 pounds of medium and 2 of spicy...WOAH spicy! Not only did they taste good, they were AMAZING! I would say they were even better than Rockfish! They were very spicy but in a very addicting way.
