Gave this place a try as I was in the city visiting family and it was close to my folks' place…read more Brought them with me. Parking lot looks like it stays full but we got in and there were a couple of tables with people and a lot of people waiting for to go. This was around 6pm. Steady stream of people coming in for pick up orders so someone likes it. Good sign lol So the food is seafood boils or Chinese. Didnt feel like getting messy so went with the Chinese side. We all did. Now a lot of people like to judge any Chinese food against the backdrop of "is it Chinese kitchen?". And we are no different lol but having lived away from the city for a long time and finding nothing is Chinese kitchen, you adjust your scale. And this place was fine. I had the four seasons, moms had the shrimp and broccoli and pops had the shrimp lo mein. We all enjoyed. We also ordered a combo fried rice to share. Also fine. Now the egg rolls, again, judging against the one of a kind, they were fine. They at least had shrimp in them. So better than nothing. I would not have a problem eating here again. Also that sweet tea will give you diabetes. I had three glasses lol Our server was attentive. Answered questions. Checked on is frequent. Give em a shot

The locals said to go here so we had to check it out. Yesterday the line was crazy long. Today we…read morewere first in line right at 11 am It's unassuming on the outside but the food was delicious. Their Char grilled oysters can be ordered with crab meat atop. The seasoning is chefs kiss. I didn't eat the Oyster just the seasoning and bread. I love the flavor profile. I got the Boudin Egg Rolls and a crab cake with 1/2 Shrimp poboy & corn and crab soup. The egg rolls have great flavor but doesn't compare to the Boudin Balls I've previously had. I would say they're kid friendly. I liked the red beans and rice but everyone else didn't care for this batch. The shrimp were large and seasoned well as i didn't eat the bread. Someone else ordered the Philly poboy. She said the meat was seasoned exceptionally well. I loved the yummy bites. I can see why the lines were long. Deliciousness all around.

We had a great dinner at Acme!…read more We started with the chargrilled oysters, which were dripping in a Parmesan garlic butter - so so good! I got the fried peace maker po-boy and it was delicious! The fried shrimp and oyster wasn't greasy and tasted fresh. My sister got the New Orleans medley, which was okay. We preferred the gumbo, which was very flavorful. The jambalaya was a little dry for our preference and the rice and beans lacked flavor. My dad got the gator bites which were also really good! We also appreciated the options they had for vegetarians - my mom got the veggie burger and sweet potato fries and enjoyed both. She also had a shellfish allergy and they took great care regarding cross contamination.
