Great food and friendly service, Our waitress was awesome. Jaqueline took care of our family lunch today and we had a delightful time. We typically go on weekends for breakfast, but today our lunch was delicious. The meat was juicy and tender, not to mention the flavor was unique. For a previous breakfast we asked for huevos rotos and pastries. The ambience is family oriented and regular level of noise. Beautiful decoration and plenty of light. The service was great but the food was so so...and although I am all for helping the homeless there was a homeless man using the restroom while we were eating there and the bathroom was not even cleaned after his usage. The ambiance was nice. The gourmet shop was nice. They had high quality grocery items for sale. We bought a great olive oil for a good price. The parking wasn't too complicated. I'm not in a hurry to go back. I might give it a try when they have more items on the menu. The best thing I liked was their tostada. It was served with guava marmalade. So I went for the Miami Spice lunch and had the patatas bravas (they didn't have yuca), the risotto with mushrooms and cheese and finished it up with the smoked cheesecake. The smoked cheesecake is a rather unique dessert with of course a smoky flavour and a consistency between thick pudding and an average cheesecake. Very efficient servers and friendly throughout. Came and filled up the water various times. They are also a bakery and you can see the selections half way through the restaurant. Clean throughout with a very nice layout and design inside. The food is delicious from the appetizers which was croquetas (tuna,cod); the main course bread with serrano jam on top, scrambled eggs with cherry tomatoes and fried potatoes or the version with salad; the beverages with matcha tea, coffee and the dessert Crema Catalana was oustanding. Felt nostalgic that it is located where the old "Allan's Drugstore" used to be at the corner of Bird Road and found parking in the back without problems. The restaurant is very pleasantly inviting in its decor and welcoming! We had great service and the food choices were interesting. My family's background is from Spain so I was attracted to some of their dishes. Food was delicious but way over priced! It's one of these new "catchy" restaurants which I hope it does well in Miami.
