Worst barber shop in OC. They are constantly drinking beer/ getting high while cutting your hair. I've seen so many people get their hair jacked up by these people and then the barbers just turn around and blame the client, taking about how they weren't specific or just saying "my bad" and proceeding to charge them full price. This review is way overdue. (Mykel or as I call him) Valentine has been cutting my hair exclusively for well over a year now. I moved from Orange County to the Bay Area and still fly down for a cut. Valentine also cuts my entire family, my little man (who has a mixture of Black and Mexican hair a picture is located in the photos with a star cut on the side), as well as his uncle (who is Mexican). Valentine takes his time, the line-ups are always on point, while his taper game keeps my waves fresh! I will also add a picture so you can see what I mean! All of the other barbers are talented and friendly. The customer services is on point. There is a sign-in sheet I recommend that you get to it early. On a whim, I decided to get an undercut and leave my length on top. I could not go to just any hair cutting place to get this done right, it had to be cool, well staffed, and have people that are familiar with these cuts. It's important to get those lines exactly right. Wow, I found that this place was less than a mile from my home and I got lucky enough to catch Edgar during a slow period in the middle of the afternoon. He cut my hair to perfection, no rushing here, just straight lines and cool conversations. I'm sure you can't go wrong with anybody working here, but if you can book Edgar, do it! This location does a lot more than just cool cuts and fades. They do hot towel shaving, and many other services too. I'll take a picture of the menu board next time I'm in, and I will be back! Messed up my haircut twice. Went in for a comb over with a line up and taper and the guy who cut my hair left it all uneven and even left a bald spot on the back of my head. That day they no longer accepted card payments so I left to the Atm and returned later that day to pay. I shouldn't have even went back to pay but didnt realize how much he messed up my hair until I got home and someone told me. Idk the guys name but hes usually quiet and he was bragging about how he was out at Downtown Fullerton the night before. So yelp is always there to help, I saw cali style and decided to come and see what they were about and I am definitely not disappointed. My barber was Ren and she was amazing, she was super helpful and understanding of what I wanted and she offered some advice on my cut, which I love because my expertise is not hair, which helped me get what I was looking for.
