For some of us our car is not a material possession. It's a symbol of accomplishment, pride and sophistication. The man and machine relationship is only something a car enthusiast can understand. Calliber Collision understands this. I selected Calliber Collision to get work done on my Lexus. I made my selection based upon reviews from Luxury car owners that had wonderful experiences working with Paul. From start to finish the customer service at this location is phenomenal. Paul W was the service advisor that greeted me and inspected my car exactly on time and inspired confidence in me that they would take great care of my Lexus. Driving a luxury vehicle you want to make sure they true experts get their hands on it if you need work done. Especially bran new Luxury cars. I was very concerned about the cosmetic damage and paint damage my car had given the pearlescent paint and hit and run damage. Just absolutely terrible that someone would do this to me but I'm grateful I was able to find Calliber. Paul provided daily updates, talked to me about the process, set proper expectations. communicated effectively and most importantly even did the added touch of calling my car her name I gave her. He really understood how much I love my car. I sure hope I never have to get cosmetic or repair work done on my car but I know for a fact if I do, I'm calling Paul W @ Calliber Collision. Any friends or family will be referred to him. Ask for Paul W. He'll be forthright with you, he'll take great care of your prized possession. Tell him your baby's name. He'll remember it. That personal touch speaks to his professionalism and passion, dedication and commitment to his craft. 5 stars in my book.

My floor mats and car were two months old...I didn't turn them in with all those white foot prints and marks...

Took my two-month old (aka brand new) SUV with rear bumper damage to Caliber after my insurance company, Geico, highly recommended it. While I had the option of taking it to my dealer, Geico encouraged me to use Caliber because it would likely be done faster and just as well. As it turns out, my SUV was ready for pick up in about 3-4 days after dropping it off..however, when I inspected the paint I noticed a difference between the original paint and the new paint. I brought it to my adjuster's attention and he talked to Caliber to take the car back in. I didn't mind waiting longer as long as the paint matched or was unnoticeable. It was somewhat concerning that the paint difference was noticeable yet they had it parked out front ready for me to drive off in. A few more days later, I received a call that my SUV was ready for pick up. Good news--the paint job was way better on the rear bumper. It matched the original paint very well. Overall, the main issue was addressed and my car was restored...but there was another pain point because that my car was dirty when I got in. There was white dust inside as well as white footprints/dirt all over the floor mats that were pretty clean when I turned over the car. I just think they need to pay more attention to detail. Caliber's representatives are extremely customer service oriented, but the words don't matter if I have to come back twice and the car isn't clean or at least in the same condition that I turned it over in. I had to clean the interior of my car myself just so I didn't have to drive back for a THIRD time.

Caliber Collision (University Research Park, Davis CA) was a pleasure to work and they did a great job. From start to finish, they made the whole process easy. Careful evaluation of exactly what would be needed to fully restore the car. Keeping me posted during the process. Getting my car back when promised despite delays for parts. Doing such a great job that it's impossible to tell the car had ever been damaged. Thanks!

You, and I, should trust your gut. Immediately when walking in, it felt off and not like a reliable business but since I was directed by discount tire I proceeded I requested an alignment and was almost immediately upsold to a control arm replacement. Seemed expensive, and I wasn't sure if it was necessary but it seemed realistic so I took their advice. All went fine until a manager who I trusted left, and I was stuck with a guy from the start who had displayed poor service and attitude, clearly attempting to make me feel unknowledgeable for asking questions about pricing. After the work was done, I requested to test drive before I left. The manager, who was not wearing a name badge, said I needed to leave something as collateral in case I drove off without paying. All I had was my computer. I felt uneasy as I already did not trust the shop, but did it anyway knowing my computer was locked. After returning, my computer was OPEN and on the screen where a login had failed. I can 1000% confirm I shut the lid before handing it to him. I questioned him and the other service member, and both said "that's weird, you probably handed it to us with the lid open" and when asked about if they say anything, "no I didn't see anyone open it" Not wanting to press the issue I went to drive away, but after some thought I knew this was absolutely unacceptable since I was sure they were lying to me. After going back in and pressing the matter, the manager ADMITTED to lying to me and gave me a made up excuse as to why he was on it. The apology was fake and clearly to try to get me to leave, trying to convince me that what he did was acceptable and standard. Ridiculous way to run a shop, I cannot believe a MANAGER of all people acts this way. If they are not honest about simple things, image their honesty when it earns them an extra $.
