No consideration for customer's time. They gave me a quote to do the work. I accept and bring the car in the following week on Monday. They call me later to tell me that they might not be able to do the work and would call me the next day after they confirm with management. The next day they don't call me, I have to call them and then they tell me that no they could not do the work because they would not be able to warranty the work. I understand if that is their policy, but why have me bring the car and hold it for 2 days just to tell me that they couldn't do the work. They could of told.me when they gave me the quote and not waste my time. It's not like they didn't know they work that had to be done beforehand. Honda worker here. Worse experience ever. Stay far away. Otto, his tall lady manager and techs are the worse. Not 1, 2, 3 but 4 attempts to repair things that should've been repaired from the beginning and still failed to adjust my door correctly. Still failed to get debris out the paint. Otto's manager said "I'll do the final inspection myself" it really makes me question her qualifications as there were swirl marks left everywhere after a wash, vin plate was still missing (just sitting on their desk). NO HONESTY. Otto seen the door was not okay and assumed I wouldn't notice. Took over a month, fortunately I found a better body shop that was able to adjust the same day. My car was in a minor collision against a wall and the wall won. The bumper became detached and wouldn't latch back on and it also was torn in multiple places. Looked like Wolverine clawed it. I asked a family member for any body shop recommendations and they recommended I visit Henry Montoya at Caliber Collision in Gardena. I took the car to him, and Henry was super friendly, told me exactly how he would repair the bumper, and he even said he could fix a tennis ball sized dent I had on my passenger door. Henry kept me informed during the repair process, which was really a nice touch and much appreciated! He let me know when the bumper was being installed, when it was getting painted, and when it would be ready for pickup. Henry even delivered the vehicle ahead of schedule, in just a couple of days! Upon delivery, I noticed they washed my car and left it looking very shiny, the inside had that "new car smell," and the car looks brand new now! The repairs are excellent and the paint matched up perfectly to the rest of my beautiful yellow shine colored car! I was originally told that my car would be ready on Feb 29th because they had to back order the part from the dealer. I heard great things about Caliber, it's too bad that my car won't be repaired here. I had an appointment with David. There was a big issue about previous damage so he was supposed to get with Allstate and contact me within a week. A week went by and I called. The person who answered the phone told me he would contact me for sure on Friday, which was the next business day. I did not hear from him. I called back on Monday and the lady assured me that David would call me on Monday. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday went by and no call from David. I don't know what the issue is but if he was waiting for Allstate he could have called me back and told me there was a delay. I don't believe there's a delay with Allstate but him not calling me back is unprofessional. I may try another Caliber location but this whole experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. I also didn't appreciate how they were so booked when I wanted to get an estimate but when I told them it was an Allstate claim they had openings the next day. Been waiting for a call..for the past year, took my minicooper because State farm insurance recomended this place, Caliber misestinated the damage and gave me a half fixed car, they didn't see the damage on the convertible top, I call every three months to see what their decision is, to fix it or not, they say they'll call me back, as well as State Farm Insurance, and to this day...no call, no fix, and I'm stuck..think twice, before you bring your car here to get fixed. They were very professional, and the folks at the front desk provide excellent customer service. I have sometimes found it difficult to get someone to answer the phone, but they did call me back after I left a message. They also dealt with my StateFarm insurance just fine. I was a bit surprised recently after having brought my car in for repair to learn that the part had not been ordered; once it because clear that I had to first pay for the part, due to the way my insurance covered that incident, everything went smooth and the car was repaired on the day of the appointment within the time estimated. I've dealt with several other companies for repairs on insurance claims, and Caliber has been my best experience.
