Worst experience ever. I went here because it was the recommended shop from my insurance company but they completely scammed Progressive- charging for services that were not completed. I had front end damage to my bumper and headlight. When I went to pick up the car the bumper that they charged progressive to replace + labor was not touched. When I mentioned it they said the scratches could be buffed out. If that was the case the charge should have never been added to the bill. After trying to buff out the scratches they said the chipped paint was likely caused from general wear and tear from driving which again shouldn't have been charged if that was the case. It was pretty obvious I wasn't buying the excuse and was unhappy with my experience so the rep - I believe his name was Freddy- said they'd make it right and order the part. I was supposed to be contacted when it arrived. I've been more than patient waiting over 2 months for a phone call that I've never received. I also noticed a surface level scratch on my fender that I was able to buff out but its clear this shop doesn't respect your property and will do the absolute bare minimum to get cars in and out as fast as possible. I was only responsible for my deductible but if they scam the insurance company they'd absolutely do the same to someone paying out of pocket for service. I've contacted Progressive about the issue so they can hopefully remove this shop from their list since they are the ones being scammed. AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF POSSIBLE! I had come back in October per my insurance due to a collision that I had. Initially the service was great when I came under my insurance. The work was completed quickly and the staff was very friendly. Soon after getting my car back I noticed an issue with the window rolling up/down in addition to the weather stripping being destroyed along the side of the car that was repaired. I should have brought up the weather stripping sooner but it would have been nice if they took it upon themselves to replace what was broken. I opted to replace the weather stripping myself but called to come back and have the window looked at as there is a 1 year warranty for parts and a lifetime warranty on body work (from my memory). The receptionist tried to get a hold of Freddie but he was busy so she told me to just come in later that week. I came in at the time agreed upon on the phone and when I checked in I was met with confusion at the front desk. This was fine because they were able to have Freddie speak to me. I immediately noticed a change in behavior/attitude from him and the front desk compared to my first visit. It felt like I was a bother coming in for a warranty check. Freddie looked at my car and noted that it was likely a window motor issue. He never explicitly said this but he implied that the issue was unrelated to the work that was done on my car. I do think it's possible that the issue began before I took my car in but I do think it was an odd coincidence that the issue started very soon after work was done here. Keep in mind the car had no issues at all before the collision/repair. Freddie told me he would need to contact the insurance to see if they would be willing to fix it. There was no offer to fix it as a warranty repair or even at a cost. It felt like they were just trying to send me on my way. He told me they would follow up with me after speaking to the insurance but it has been weeks and I have heard nothing. Disappointing because I initially really liked it here and would have given it 5 stars but this recent encounter has really soured my experience. I hope that I don't need to come back for a warranty repair as they do not seem keen to do work that isn't being paid for by an insurance company. I will be sure to request a different facility if my insurance ever tries to send me here again. I cannot recommend this business and do not plan to come back. read more

The body shop in this location was formally Colonial Coach Works . I have recently had outstanding body work from Colonial on my wife's Lexus. I was so impressed with that repair, as well as the level of service from my rep Perry Bledy that I thought I would take a chance some paint work and minor restoration on my 31 year old Allante. Although Colonial was recently acquired by the Caliber Collision body repair network the terrific staff is mostly the same. Coincidentally, Caliber restored my other badly damaged Lexus to like new condition some years ago. So this sounded like a body repair marriage made in haven. It definitely was... BY far the best experience I have had getting my vehicle repaired! My car was stolen and recovered by LAPD so there was quite a lot of work to be done. Upon walking into this caliber collision location the receptionist was welcoming and kind. She went above and beyond to offer me something to drink while I waited for my car to be delivered from the tow company. They understood my frustrations from my horrific experience at the other location and made it right, the way it should have been returned to me the first time, just the way it looked when it rolled out the showroom doors! Josh and his staff kept me in the loop at each step of the process with updates along the way. Josh even personally returned my car to me and made sure that we looked at each item that was repaired correctly and satisfactorily and then he even returned the rental vehicle for me! Update: I was contacted soon after by Ryan Walker, the GM. He told me he would work with me directly to get my key replaced. I purchased a new key from my local Honda dealer, and they are reimbursing me for the cost. Another twist to the story is that just 3 days after I picked up the car from repair, while at the gas station, a guy backed up his old Ford F-150 pick-up into my brand new bumper (the initial damage done to my car was by a totally aggressive and dangerous driver). Anyway, I told Ryan about it when I spoke to him. Thankfully, he is also helping me personally with that situation -- I filed the claim, and he is going to assist me with the insurance company and the damage will be repaired. Life can throw us plenty of curve balls in general. But this past couple of years have been much more stressful and full of division and frustration than usual. And we all do our best to roll with the punches. God knows we all work our tails off taking care of ourselves, our families, and everything else in our orbit. Prices continue to rise, and we experience such a lack of good customer service and accountability so often that it becomes incredibly frustrating and exhausting. With that being said, I was very relieved to be thrown a life-line when I was feeling like I was under water and completely fed up. I'm happy to say that Caliber responded to my situation in a timely and very positive way. For that I am very relieved and grateful. Five stars for that. My thanks to Ryan and everyone at Caliber. They did very nice body work/repair on my car. I left the shop with my car around 6:00 pm, and had to run an errand just a few blocks away afterwards. When I came back out to my car to start it, my remote car key fell apart in my hand. The shop was closed at that point, so no one was there to help with the situation. It was obvious that the key had been broken or compromised in some way while it was in their possession, because the key was just fine when I left it with them. When I picked up, I noticed that the silver key ring that had been on it was missing -- I dismissed it as maybe they removed it with the service tag. But I realize now that it was probably taken off to try to put the key back together, hoping that I wouldn't notice it. I called the shop to let Daniel know what happened, and told him that I have to do the running around to find a locksmith to make me a new one or I'll have to pay more than $100 bucks to replace from the dealer -- the response I got was, "Well, if you have a problem with the locksmith, let me know and I can contact our GM to see what we can do." He should have offered to do that right away. When I picked up the car, I was happy with the work that was done on the car (although my front license plate was on upside down and the tires still needed air, so they had to fix that while I waited -- they had all day to do all of this before I picked up.) The situation with my car key is so irresponsible, and the response such poor customer service -- the former owners (of Colonial Coach Works, 44 years) would never have handled the situation that way. I know them very well. It's too bad this turned out the way it did. I won't be returning to this shop because of this experience. Two stars because the body work looks good, but the situation with my car key blew the rest of my experience with them. Bummer. read more

I was in a car accident and got side swiped. I have a 2021 Mazda 5 in the metallic red color. I took my car to Caliber Colission for repairs on the rainiest week ever. Brenda the office supervisor was amazing. When I picked up my car once it was repaired I didn't notice the color was a few shades darker since it was pouring rain that day. A week later I took my car back and spoke to Robert the shop manager and I received the best customer service experience ever!!! Not only did Robert go above and beyond to repaint my car but he rented a car for me while it was in the shop. When I picked up my car the second time it was back to its original color and they washed and cleaned my car back to brand new. Robert is definitely a man of his word. Although there was a hiccup with my paint job the first time Robert made sure to fix it and guaranteed his work. If ever I need car repairs again I am taking my car to Robert at Caliber Collision, I highly recommend his shop on chatsworth. Took my 2019 dodge charger scat pack to caliber collision after I was rear ended. I was nervous at first because I was worried about the paint not matching, low and behold the end product was amazing. Sept 2nd, my husband was in a 3 car pile up. He had our FJ Cruiser towed to Caliber Collision. The front end and frame could not be salvaged! This was heartbreaking to my husband because you can no longer buy this car! Fortunately for us, Perry the service writer at Caliber Collision worked with our insurance to find a way to save our car! Even though it took 6 months for the frame to be delivered Perry and the smanager Ryan, kept us informed every week of the progress. My husband would go every few days and speak with Perry. He was always warmly greeted and would be fill of the goings on with our car. Well, they finished our car last week! It is so beautifully restored! They even touched up and repainted minor dings!!!! My overall experience was good however when I first walked in I was not greeted their was a young lady with reddish hair and glasses that looked at me and looked back down to her computer however another young lady walked in she greeted me and was so knowledgeable and helpful I didn't catch her name though.
