Everyone at Central Valley Auto Body is so sweet. I just stopped in after going to two other places to see if they could help me with my license plate. I got a fix-it ticket for not having a front license plate. I was stressed out because I went to two other places to try and get the license plate attached and it was turning out to be much more difficult than I expected. The first two places said they couldn't figure it out and to go to an auto body shop. When I walked in the woman at the front desk was super nice and listened to my rambling. It's apparent this is a family owned and operated business because you will be treated like family from the moment you call. I was in an accident and unsure of what the next steps to take. I called Central Valley Auto and they took care of everything as well as guided me through the process. Before 24 hrs had passed since the accident, Central Valley auto body had coordinated with my insurance to have their OWN tow truck come to Santa Clarita to pick up my car. Update: here goes another try. they didn't like previous review I still don't like the service provided for time estimated I was charged for. Owner stated the price is an industry standard but on paper I was charged $367 for 4.9hrs of labor. Their labor rate is 75$ an hour. The work that was done in my humble opinion, does not reflect the quality of service for the rate of the labor that represents the "Industry Standard". ------ Here's an A.I explanation for further understanding... The customer is unhappy with the service they received and the price they were charged. Here's a breakdown of the situation: The customer left a negative review previously (possibly due to the same issue). The owner likely responded to the review, and the customer feels the owner didn't address their concerns. The customer is reiterating their complaint about the price. Here's what the customer is arguing: They were charged for the estimated time, even though the actual work took less time. They believe the industry standard price doesn't justify the quality of work performed. They've calculated the cost based on the hourly rate ($75) and the actual work time (4.9 hours) and find the final price ($367) unfair. Overall, the customer feels they were overcharged for a service that wasn't up to par. ------ Where they did shine. Installing the part I provided and they called 30 min prior to it being finished. Maybe disregard this whole review but if y'all woulda charged like 150$ or so, woulda been happy with the service provided per industry standard. Had an amazing experience with this body shop. My sister came to them a couple years ago and I know they had great prices and did an amazing job on her lease car. So it came time for my RAV4 to get something taken care of. First they were the first place I got a quote where I was able to get a paint job that blended into the rest of my vehicle. I have done auto bodywork on my previous cars I own and knew this was possible but everyone I ask for a quote prior kept saying differently. Not with Central. They were able to accommodate me and even point out a few things I didn't notice on my car before- that I got taken care of. I felt my car was going to be in great hands. I was able to schedule my appointment when I was ready- no pressure at all. Had to work it in a time where I can be without a car for a couple of days. They let me know not to worry about washing the car-they would take care of that for me. Boy did they do so! It's like my car had a detail. I have black trim on my exterior of my car like my bumper and around the fenders and with time it fades in its color. They put a black magic or something on it that made it look like the day I got the car. So excited- I didn't expect that. I was truly blown away by the quality of the work and service.
