I visit the CCC frequently, and each time I walk up the walkway to order food, I encounter a young lady who is soefficient, quick and personable to me and my sister. She smiles and she commands your attention as she walks away with so much confidence. Each time she helped me, she would always make friendly comment's, and make you feel like a special customer. I finally asked what her name was, and she told me "Barbara". I wish more customer service representatives had the same kind of work ethic and attitude as she. Since I am a professional and work with other professional, i have never met a person who really like what she does, and she does it with a smile. This is the kind of person i would hire on the spot in my business, because she ensures the customer is first and she makes sure your orderis correct before you leave the location. I can see this young lady has a bright future ahead of her. She is definitely a rising star and a leader in the making. Whatever she plans to do in life, i know she will be the best at what she does. Holy crap is this place amazing. How did I not know about it until now?? I ordered through door dash and the order was perfect. Was great being able to customize a salad so easily. The portion size is HUGE (enough for 2-3 meals) and the food is so fresh and tasty! They also provide plentyyyy of dressing (on the side). Not a sad dry leaf in sight! And the cookie! Hands down one of my favorite lunch spots EVER. The wraps and salads are phenomenal and the sides are delicious as well. The broccoli soup is fresh, healthy and amazing. The salads have gotten a little smaller over the years but it's still a good size salad for the price. I do miss the inside dining and interaction with the staff, but hoping one day they open up the inside again. This is my go-to when I want to do takeout and keep it healthy. Ordering pickup through their website is not only WAY cheaper than getting gouged on grubhub or any of the other delivery sites, but it's also super convenient. I pulled up at my scheduled time at the designated pickup area, and Evan came right out with my order still perfectly hot. He was super on top of his game. Everything was delicious. I love this place and their balsamic vinaigrette is probably the best I've had. This review is not about the food because it's really good. I did a drive up order for a set pickup time. I called and notified them I was there and where do I go. The male's response was, "we have a line of cars so just get in line." I asked how would I know which line and if there's a check in to which he responded, "no just wait in line." This is tne worst service I think I have ever experienced at a place. I have a child at home and specifically pre-ordered so I could hurry back home. No one came out to greet us and say we were in the correct line or anything. I LOVE California Chicken Cafe. I go to the one on Lincoln Blvd in Venice. The food is consistently terrific. The chicken, whether rotisserie or shredded chicken breast in a salad is very moist and delicious, NEVER ever dry and tasteless. The many sides offered (including roasted potatoes, fruit, steamed squash, soups) are delicious and come in a variety of sizes. I frequently will order a Chinese Chicken Salad with extra oranges, carrot, and green onions and three pieces of chicken and several sides (and two of their yummy Aloha cookies). This is enough food for four days and it costs much less than buying food from a grocery. But what I want to highlight today are the folks who work at CCC. Last night it was Xavier and Sonia, who ran the food out to the "drive by" parking space. These two young people were quick, efficient, so friendly, and very helpful. They would not accept a tip; they were just concerned that I got my meal correctly and could get back on the road. And I was picking up just twenty minutes before CCC closed. Love the food at California Chicken Cafe. This location is closest to us, so the one we visit most often. Everything is always fresh and delicious. I particularly enjoy their wraps, my favorite is the primavera wrap with warm chicken. I like that they give you an option of white or dark meat, and can choose hot or cold. Also their sides are all excellent, my son and I always get the broccolli soup- and a plus is that it is dairy free! We usually order take out, and if you do the same, just be sure to make sure you check everything as there have been a couple times now that they have forgotten to add the pita bread that I ordered with my chicken.......other than that, everything is excellent! read more

One of my favorite restaurant because of their food. Is price but its good quality. Parking is not the greatest but you are able to park at the smart and final parking and walk to the restaurant.
