The food is delicious. My partner and I have gone twice to get food and order at drive thru. The first time the food and dessert was very good and my churro was delicious. However, my partners food was delicious but, unlike me his churro was hard like a rock and again the churro was dark and seems over cooked. The first time we let them know and they kindly gave him a better one after he called. The second time he just wanted to give feed back. You guys have the potential to be better than Adalbertos across the street. Adalbertos churros are amazing! read more

The California burrito at this location was OK. I often judge a Mexican restaurant based on it salsa. The salsas were nothing to brag about. I purchased via the drive-through and it was pretty efficient. I did not get a chance to go inside. read more

Of the two near me, this one is awesome. The one on alburn seems to always forget my soda so I go out of my to go to this one. They do my pops special request for a burrito with no veggies and my mom's request for fish tacos in a crunchy shell 90% of the time. I think the other 10% the chef don't want to do it. But it's cool and not big deal. They probably have a good reason. The older lady that works the window is the best. Always cool Food is pricey but good. read more

Have frequented this location many times since it opened, It was great until today. I noticed a new sign that stated UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. Wonder if that is why it now stinks? So, I paid $1buck more for the #23, bean, egg burrito. I added potato's and pico to the burrito. They gave me a potato burrito with pico and cheese, they left off the egg and the beans. (not what i ordered). Drove all the way home and sat down to eat to find this out. It was the most flavorless thing I have ever had. I opened it up, there was a ton of cheese and pico but all that you could taste was over cooked unseasoned potatoes. So much for the quality of ingredients or effort to season food. To top it off they did something different to their green sauce which use to be the reason I went back to this location. Ill never go back to the watt ave. California burrito. Went with a friend as a quick dinner. Ordered the carnitas which was fully loaded!! Came with enough meat, beans, rice and trimmings for two people. The birria tacos and consume were not very good. A friend of mine hyped it up, so I in turn hyped it up to my family. Well let's just say my wife loves tacos and has eaten all over Sacramento. This place does a great job. Definitely my late night go-to. If you're trying to decide between this place and Adalberto's, definitely go here. Food tastes more fresh and more flavorful. On my latest visit, Angela was working the window (I asked her her name) and she did a wonderful job of being very quick at service but also being very friendly. I am in the customer service industry, so I notice when someone is really doing an excellent job, and I thought that the service tonight was very good. Thank you, and I'll be back soon! read more

Been to plenty of different locations of California burrito and this location is by far the worst one. I got a bacon breakfast burrito I got half way through the burrito with out a single piece of bacon and once I got to the bacon it was over cook and burnt and the eggs as well were overcooked. My gf got a chorizo breakfast bowl and the eggs burnt and the chorizo was dried up. I don't recommend going to this location if it's your first time trying this place you won't want to go again. read more

They just opened this restaurant last week and we love it already it's been a while since we've been waiting and now it's a go to for good Mexican food and the place is clean great service. The staff is very kind and helpful as well.. they have daily special which is awesome cuz I don't like the same thing over and over.. the California burrito is huge and so is their chimichangas are yummy and it's enough to share and have it as leftovers... so happy it's close to my house.. I am new to Rio Linda and I wanted to try this place. I ordered chicken tacos and beans and rice and I ordered a side of guacamole. Well the chicken tacos hardly had any meat no flavor and the beans and rice were OK. Guacamole was like puréed avocado with no flavor and I used DoorDash to get the food. The person that put the food together didn't put any kind of hot sauce in the bag. I wouldn't recommend this place because they charge a lot for low quality food.
