I spoke with Manny--one of the owners who took the time and care to walk me through the process and working with the insurance company. He worked in a timely manner, was communicative the whole way through. When i picked up my fiat, he even gave it a car wash and cleaned the inside. Upon looking up the collision shop list through my car insurance, I saw CA Collision at the top of the list with many reviews. I read through them and gave them a call. Manny was in the reviews so I asked for him. I brought my car in on a wednesday. My parked car was hit by my neighbor in the driveway and her insurance was also a nightmare to deal with. The front right side was banged up on the outside and the inside. I would not have known how bad it was until Manny observed and pointed out the damages. From the beginning, he gave advice on what I needed to do because I had no idea. He was very helpful and friendly. During the whole process of what needed to be fixed, he kept me posted. I had a Kia optima and I called around to a lot of different shops and all of these shops told me that parts were on back order and it will take months for the part to even get sent to the shop. It was T-boned on the driver's side rear door, and was dented and scratched almost the whole surface area of the rear door body panel. California Collision came with recommendation from my insurance company, and after talking to many shops and researching on the web, I decided to take my Subie to Manny and Joe's shop. It was the best decision I've ever made in terms of picking a body shop, and I cannot be happier! When I talked to Manny on the phone the first time, I could tell he had a deep knowledge and experience on body work, and after talking to him for a few minutes, I was confident that he would take care of my car and restore it to its original state. You see, I had a horrific experience with a body shop in the past, where I had to go back at least three times, maybe four, to have them correct their imperfect work. But Manny would listen to my horror stories like my own brother, made some comments about the how it's not the company or the shop, but people who either make or break the results of body work...and he explained to me what he would do exactly to fix my car. The underbelly shield of my car collapsed suddenly yesterday and started dragging on the freeway, and I knew something wasn't right. I got off, drove to the closest auto body shop and there was California Collision Center. I pulled up and asked for help - luckily, the owner Joe very kindly came out and offered to assess.. He then asked me where I got my oil change and I thought - Jiffy Lube. He laughed and said maybe not to go there again. Turns out Jiffy Lube forgot to screw the underbelly back in place, so it finally gave out that day! Joe was kind enough to find the screws I needed and screw the underbelly back in. Thank you JOE! I am definitely coming back to California Collision Center, when need be. Moral of the story, if you want an oil change, skip Jiffy Lube. But if you're looking for an awesome, caring and top notch auto body shop - this place is it. :) read more

I have nothing but great thing to say about this establishment. I had a nasty ding (well more than ding) on the lift gate of my Honda Pilot. As soon as Manny saw it, he told me I needed a new lift gate and that my insurance would just want to do a Mickey Mouse job and bondo my car. He was absolutely correct! My insurance just wanted to cover the cheap patch-up job at any of their body shops on their list. Manny told me that if he wouldn't do that to his own car, he would not do it to any customers car either because customers are treated like family. What a fantastic shop with excellent customer service!! I called here last minute just before lunch to ask if someone was available to install a new passenger mirror on my beloved Scion tc. I had clipped it just a few days earlier and had been doing the drive of shame to and from work ever since. I settled on California Collision Center because of the proximity to home and the 5-star rating. I spoke to Manny on the phone who extended a warm invite to come on by. Upon arriving, I was greeted by both Manny and Joe who instantly knew what I was there for and got to it as soon as I hopped out of the car. I had already purchased the replacement mirror (after factory) and OEM mirror cover to match my car color, so the installation went pretty quickly. Manny also took the time to hammer a few dents out of my front license plate, wipe it down and remove the 2009 Van Nuys dealer frame that I didn't even realize was still on there. Now comes the proverbial icing on the cake. I entered the office to pay and instantly noticed it is the cleanest, most organized auto body shop office I've ever been in (personally). There was a Keurig coffee maker in the corner, fresh bottled water, and the chairs didn't feel like they had been sourced from a 1980's storage unit. To top it all off, I had come on a very special day because Manny and Joe's mama was there and had just prepared a delicious homemade lunch of cheese pie (think delicious filo pastry filled with melted cheese and spices) and fresh tabouleh. Manny must have known I was deliriously hungry because moments later I was sitting and enjoying an authentic Lebanese meal. All in all, 5 stars for the cost of labor which was 100% reasonable (so much so that I even offered to pay more), 5 stars for the professionalism and customer service, 5 stars for ManJo's mama's cheese pie, and 5 stars for making me feel like family. I hope I don't have to, but I will definitely be bringing my car here for any future repair needs! read more

This is the BEST SHOP ever!! Just Had my car fixed at their shop because somebody hit our thunderbird car. Dropped off my car for an estimate. Joe helped me out with everything. Took only 3 days to have it fixed. Today i picked up my car and i asked Joe if he could bring the car to enterprise instead and he did. He even cleaned my car for me.. My car was smashed in the middle of the night, parked in front of my house. It was a hit and run so I was super distressed when I called my insurance to report it.
