I was craving coffee in the evening and found this spot. I love how it opens a lot later than most coffee shops in the city and they make great coffee. I got the latte and it was aromatic and the price was really good for how much coffee I got! They also have a variety of pastries too!

Little bakery on the side of their main restaurant. Plenty of free street parking all around. We came on a Saturday at noon and it wasn't super busy. The latte was really good; the milk flavor doesn't overpower the espresso. Ham and cheese croissant was super tasty and flaky. There's no seating inside, but there's a little parklet with a lot of seating right next to it, Esprit Park down the street, and it's a cute area to walk around and explore too. Will definitely be returning to this neighborhood staple!

Visited on a Wednesday morning at 9 AM with a group of friends. It was a bit busy, but the line moved quickly--we were in and out in 10 minutes. I ordered a cappuccino and a pear jam twice-baked almond croissant. The coffee was delicious--creamy and not too acidic. The croissant was good, though not my favorite, as it wasn't as buttery, but it paired nicely with the coffee. Overall, I'd 100% revisit for the coffee! Easily one of the best coffee in the area.

Came by after a climbing session for a much needed boost of energy. I got an espresso con panna. Very simple. The espresso was very acidic. The panna didn't help to mellow out the acidity as much as I wanted to. It was good coffee, but it just wasn't my preference. Will try something else the next time I come.

Cute space, friendly staff, yummy drinks- what more could you ask for! I got the oat milk matcha latte with honey and it was really good. Cute area with lots of parking!

This is a cute little coffee shop in Dogpatch! Came here on a Wednesday morning at around 9:20 AM and there was a small line that went quickly. They have a small selection of pastries that all look very good. The cashier was very quick to get my pastry and was very friendly. I got the Ginger Scone, and it was good -- I loved the big chunks of crystalized ginger in it, though it didn't taste overwhelmingly ginger. The texture was maybe a tad more crumbly than to my liking, but I enjoyed it regardless. Would come back to try their Pear Jam Croissant or their Sundried Tomato and Onion Biscuit that caught my eye -- they looked great!

This is a wonderful place to get coffee/pastries in the Potero Hill neighborhood!! It's a small and cozy interior and can feel packed with just a couple of people waiting in line. The staff was quick and attentive in getting through the line, super nice crew! They have a cute selection of pastries, where I ordered a standard drip coffee and a pear crossaint. The coffee was excellent, and really enjoyed how they source their coffee. It's the perfect place to go that combines good quality coffee with a good selection of pastries

Love this spot! Their scones are baked perfectly and the coffee is just right. Will definitely be back!

One of my favorite coffee shops at the moment. It is off of the freeway so it's convenient to come here before going to the Bay Bridge or downtown. Their coffee and pastries are good, and they have a nice, cute park next door where you can bask in the sun while enjoying your morning coffee. My favorite things to order here are the matcha latte or the cold brew. For the pastry my favorite is the ginger scone.

The latte boasts a robust, smooth profile with a touch of bitterness rather than acidity. My friend ordered Mocha and enjoyed it. While pastries are tempting, I missed trying them. Service was ok. Nothing great. It's a compact shop with no seating, but you can enjoy your brew at the nearby park. A gem for coffee lovers and a must-visit in Dogpatch!

Piccino Coffee Bar is one of my visually favorite parts of the Dogpatch neighborhood, and I always see it bustling with customers (and sometimes dogs!) for very good reason. I got an iced vanilla latte with oat milk here, which I recommend for people who enjoy a wake-me-up coffee that's equally as sweet. As much as I was satisfied with the drink, though, it was also pretty expensive even for SF standards. :')

Don't know why this place doesn't have more reviews. One of the few coffee shops around dogpatch. Small and 'open air' cafe; there aren't seats inside but there are benches and a park across the street to sip on your coffee while. Seems to me people would just purchase a coffee and/or pastry and sit in front and chat. It's nice, it does give more of a 'neighborhood feel' vs the bigger chains in the city. They also sell freshly roasted sightglass coffee beans and will grind for you in store. I'm a sucker for this and definitely picked a bag with my iced coffee. There is parking along the street but limited. There is a restaurant right next door which I believe is connected to the cafe. Price wise it is on the higher end. Drinks were decent. I got an iced coffee With oatmilk, hard to mess that one up. There is a separate station to add your own milk/sugar by yourself . Handsanitizer provided.

Piccino serves up a mean latte! They also have a bakery outside on Saturdays, maybe also even Sundays? They have sourdough, cookies, croissants, and some other baked goodies. All baked fresh in the morning (and of course a lot of prep the night before). I got the chocolate croissant and it was flakey, buttery, chocolate goodness. I'll be back for more :)

So we got an extra drink for free. Trying the iced latte, it was pretty disappointing lol. I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. I do like the natural lighting coming into the shop, but nothing too special.

After I ordered, I took a seat in the waiting area by the Togo window to wait for my order. There was plenty of tables for dining in, but they were filled so I grabbed my order to eat outside. There was a little area in the front of the store for you to eat at. Stonemill matcha has been on my radar for a long time now and I'm happy to say I was not disappointed. I ordered the matchazuke 4.5/5 and the matcha latte 4/5 and they were both delicious. The matchazuke was perfectly savory, each bite packed full of umami. The piece of salmon was seasoned nicely, not too salty and paired perfectly with the matcha. The matcha broth was so comforting, you could taste the bonito dashi they used to make it. I was worried the portion would be too small but it was pretty filling! The matcha latte had a beautiful deep green color and was creamy and not too sweet. I did noticed that it was a little grainy, which was the only thing I didnt like about this experience. My partner ordered a hojicha latte and said it was a 5/5 and it's her new favorite place to get hojicha latte in SF. I would definitely come back and try more of their menu. My friend and I sat at the counter basically in a staring contest with the woman behind the counter, who just stared right back. After some 30 seconds, we finally flagging her down to place our order. After turning around the drinks suspiciously quickly, my friend and I sat down to catch-up in the empty cafe. Before long, the barista pumps up the volume, increasing higher and higher every 5 minutes or so, as if to signal to us that our time was up. I asked her to turn down the volume, which she tuned down from an 11 to a 7, but minutes later it continued to creep up, like the snooze setting of an alarm clock coaxing you to wake up - except in this case, to get out.
