Today my family of 5 went in to CPK for lunch we were celebrating - and my son wanted cpk - so when we go up to hostess we ask to sit outside and she angrily and rudely said NO - there was no one sitting outside but she still said no. She then said follow me and put us in an awful table in the dark dining room squished between two tables that were taken I asked again can we at least have a booth and she again said no this is all that's available believe me the restaurant was not packed - anyway she left us rudely at the table and as we sit down and the table was disgustingly all sticky and dirty - anyway we got up and left as it was not the vibe we were expecting especially for a celebratory lunch that we ended up having somewhere else in the mall. read more

I was in the mall picking up an order and decided to stop by CPK instead of grabbing fast food. Even though it was lunch time there were a couple of spots at the bar. The bartender was nice but very busy, although he did help me quickly. I ordered the tropical mule, which was pretty much just a normal mule and a Waldorf chicken salad. I just ordered the half portion which seemed large, so o was surprised there was a full. Overall service was quick so I was in and out within a half hour. read more

This place used to be so good - like two years ago. They had plant based pizza options including plant based chicken. We recently went and the food options was all meat! I couldn't even order a salad because every one had meat and or cheese on it and if I omitted them, I would still be charged for it. My husband and I tend to always snag a seat at the bar for a quick meal. CPK has a decent bar area out in the mall. It's a decent size and bright, so I prefer to sit out there. The service was slow and not very friendly. The bartender really gave the vibe that he had better things to do than deal with us. As servers were picking up drinks, they all loudly spoke about how crazy their nights were after their shifts. I always hear the juicy stuff sitting by the end of the bar. The bartender had a lot to say to them, not more than 2 words to us. The wine flight was decent and the food was delicious. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The leftovers are perfect if you pop them in the oven! We keep coming here for the food, but the service really has never been amazing. I'll try a different location and see if it's a GSP thing or a CPK thing. read more

Came here with friends for a late dinner after a few hours of shopping. Everyone ordered pizzas and pastas which were all heartily devoured. I shared a pizza (the one with everything on it don't recall the name) and a Cobb salad with my boyfriend. The pizza was delicious and toppings were generously distributed across the pie. The salad was also pretty good, but for this price I kind of expected something other than the shredded lettuce you might get on a fast food burger or salad. Maybe I just lack reading comprehension but it didn't seem like it was worth the price ($17 or $18 I think). It did seem a little like the staff were overwhelmed and needed to communicate with each other better. Our server was friendly and we liked him, but we saw two instances of staff dropping and breaking glasses with water in them. My friend ordered a pasta and asked for no mushrooms, but when it came it had mushrooms and he had to wait for a new pasta to be made. The sangria flights were amazing as usual. Went here for lunch with my wife and 21 month son. We ordered the lunch special (pizza and salad) for each of us. The waitress was very friendly and patient with us. The pizzas were delicious (wild mushroom, margherita, and thai chicken). The salads were good as well. The amount of food seems a bit small but it definitely got us full. What truly made it a pleasant experience was the fact that our son was comfortable enough to enjoy himself throughout the whole time which is not the case at other places. We will definitely be returning for lunch often moving forward. read more

We love love love CPK! The quality of their pizzas is top notch. My favorite is the Tostada Pizza while my wife's favorite is the California Veggie Pizza. The tostada is an amazing mexican spin on pizza and tastes like nachos on a pizza which I of course love The California veggie is full of veggies and flavor, i usually don't like mushrooms but the cremini mushrooms are so thinly sliced on this pizza that I really liked the taste for We always got with the crispy thin crust pizza option. Their sedona tortilla soup is sure to tickle your taste buds with corn and tortilla chips. They usually have a wait time of 20-30 minutes which is fine as you have the whole mall to roam around to pass the time. It is almost 100% full with little to no social distancing. read more

I've been to the new CPK location a couple times since they relocated. This location is now in a well-trafficked area of the mall compared to the old location and the seating feels more open. The most recent time I was here, I came in with my mother for lunch. Between the two of us, we ordered the Szechwan Chicken Dumplings, Spicy Buffalo Cauliflower and Avocado Egg Rolls. Our meals also came with complimentary bread and olive oil. No matter who I'm with, I always order the Avocado Egg Rolls. I love how there is chicken and other ingredients in the egg roll and not JUST avocado. The Spicy Buffalo Cauliflower was my second favorite, but was spicier than I expected it to be. I wasn't so much a fan of the Szechwan Chicken Dumplings. To me, the dumplings were just too soggy and the sauce didn't complement the dish. In the past, I have ordered the Crispy Mac 'N' Cheese. It's fried with Panko and I remember that being delicious. As far as drinks, the Sangria Flight is the way to go! When I order an entree, I usually order the Waldorf Chicken Salad. What I love the most about it are the candied walnuts, celery and Gorgonzola. The service varies each time I come in. There have been a handful of time when I didn't know who the server was... and neither did the staff... But there also have been times when our server was very attentive. Supposedly a family friendly restaurant. but not in my experience today. We are a family of 5, including a 3mo baby in a carrier (a newborn car seat that detaches and is used as a hand held carrier). The host kept seating us in a 4 person table, when larger booths were open, even after we asked for a larger seating area that would allow us to put the baby carrier down next to us (the baby was sleeping inside). She was visibly annoyed and said it's for 5 people or more. I guess CPK doesn't count a newborn baby as a person. She reluctantly sat us in one of their booths, and then the server came. The server "warned" us how dangerous it is to put a baby carrier next to us. She said we are actually not allowed to do that. Apparently, upon talking with the store manager, it is her made up policy rather than a companywide rule. At that point we had no choice but to get up and leave. This place used to be friendly but I can't say the same anymore. Parents of young babies, be aware. They are only family friendly if your kid can sit and eat on their own. Been here twice so far, and have mixed feelings about this place. The first time -- got seated fairly quickly, service was great (mostly because the manager paid special attention to us), food was half enjoyable, half somewhat enjoyable... The second time -- took quite a while to be seated when there were so many tables available, lack of organization/multi-tasking skills at the front, but the service and food were decent. I wonder if I'll have a better service experience the third time.. Otherwise, a few words on their food: Spinach Artichoke Dip ($11.99): enjoyable; saved my experience of being at CPK twice in a row. The dip comes out hot and fresh, ingredients are pretty good quality, not too salty. Roasted Garlic Chicken + Seasonal Vegetables ($20.59): delectable; Chicken is super soft, juicy and flavorful. It's marinated really well. Thai Crunch Salad (half $12.29; full $16.29): too watered down; I needed to ask for extra sauce/Thai peanut dressing to be able to enjoy it a bit more. Carne Asada Pizza ($17.29): fairly decent; got it with tomato sauce instead of white sauce.. It was just okay; nothing too special. Cheese was super cheesy and enjoyable, though. Overall, it's a great place to grab food with a friend/friends. I would definitely come back next time to try more food from here! read more

I came excited because they offer cauliflower crust pizza (thinking it was gluten free and dairy free). I remembered wondering why on earth the pizza didn't sit well with me that day and being unable to figure out why because I assumed I had been very careful. On a later day, it was only because my new waiter told me "btw, the cauliflower crust has eggs and butter. Is that okay with you? Wait.. no one told you that before and you ate it?" that I was enlightened and ordered the roasted veggie salad instead (which I loved). Even my new waiter seemed surprised that no one informed me because they should've when I told them my dietary restrictions. Otherwise, the menu is subpar (not good nor bad). My mother ordered the jambalaya linguine (her usual go-to) and said the quality of the dish has gone down over the years (portion size, ingredients, taste, etc). Pros: the roasted veggie salad and the new waiter's customer service (went above and beyond so we tipped well but think it's a reflection of that one person's work ethic rather than the establishment as a whole). They told us 15-30 minutes, then 45 minutes later we finally get seated only to then get no service. This place is a complete cluster. I don't know who manages this place but it seemed like a bunch of kids who just didn't care. The food finally came and was Ok, but the bill then came and I thought I broke a window. This was always a favorite for my family and I. We used to go to the mall and eat at this location at least once a month. Always had the BBQ chicken salad and BBQ pizza. I've always loved it and as a chef would mimic it as best as I could. Unfortunately, times have been tough for this location. The salad I grew to love was an embarrassment, hardly any ingredients and lack the taste. I thought it was a different salad. Ok - I have mixed feeling about this place and is the reason I am giving it four stars. This is not a complain but more of a tip for management to take into consideration; no one needs to wait more than 10 minutes for water "because the cups are all dirty". That's clearly a sign of under-staffed and this was my experience the first time here. Our server was super apologetic about it and you can tell he really cared. Overall the food is good and flavorful. There are a few organic items on the menu. Not much to say overall si ce this spot is in the mall and not much could be expected. I typically love CPK. Used to come here multiple times a week. Unfortunately, I feel the service and quality of the food went down. It took forever for the waitress to even greet and take my drink order, let alone my food order. I had to keep waving her down because she just wasn't coming to my table. Keep in mind, I was dining alone. I ordered the same salad I order every time (Thai crunch) and pizza (margarita thing crust). The first salad they brought out I had to even question if it was the full size portion because it looked smaller than the typically 1/2 size portion. To top it off it had literally 2 little pieces of chicken and barely any avocado that I paid extra to add to the salad. I made the waitress aware and they made me a new salad but that's besides the point on how do they not supply to the customers what they order the first time around. The service takes too long, the food took too long & the food has went down extremely. Sad to say, but this is the reason why businesses aren't surviving. You get the customer and then ruin it. Admittedly, it's a bit crazy busy in here because it is near a high foot traffic area of the mall. I like the BBQ chicken pizza here and the lettuce wraps but I don't think I can return here frequently because I dislike how long I have to wait for seating. The waiter also barely checked in on us. The food quality is pretty good and you get exactly what you are craving because they have signature items that are uncommon at other restaurants. CPK is good for a quick bite. I really enjoy their thin crust and cauliflower thin crust margarita pizza. We ordered the cucumber refresher which was delicious and the berry sparkling refresher which was good as well. Instead of getting an app we just ordered a regular thin crust and the spaghetti to share. I gave a three star rating because the pizza was just ok this time and the spaghetti tasted like burned garlic which overpowered the entire dish. I couldn't finish it. We basically just paid for both the pizzas and left the food on the table because it was unconsumed due to horrible taste. It had cilantro on it then, but now, it's literally just bbq sauce, chicken, and onion, which was quite unremarkable. I also got the side caesar salad, which was fine, but the sauce (which came on the side) had a hair or eyelash in it. With regards to service, it took nearly 45 minutes for the food to come out. They didn't even give us plates for bread, so there were crumbs everywhere. It seems the experience here gets worse with each visit. Unlikely to return. read more
