I haven't been to CPK for a really long because I thought they discontinued the tostada pizza. When I found it was still on the menu, we decided to stop by for dinner. Order: Mexican street corn - 5/5 highly recommend!!! Guac & Chips - 5/5 highly recommend!! Tostada pizza - highly disappointed!! They must these changed the recipe because I don't ever remember it being like this. It needed more of the ranch dressing but seemed like a bunch of lettuce was piled on. We were happy to see they had decorated for Christmas with nice wreathes and ornaments. We've had the same server a couple times and she's absolutely wonderful. Comes at the right intervals , and notices all the details to ensure we have everything we need even without asking. The food is good. Their pizzas are fun although we tend to focus on their salads. We both love the Thai crunch salad although it is much better with dressing on the side because there are two dressings and that way each bite tastes a little different. We also love their Caesar dressing - creamy and flavorful. Husband got it with shrimp and it was delectably seared with a a nice charred flavor. I like their wonton salad because other than the wontons, all the salad is actually vegetables - cabbage etc. but it's a little spicy for me so I get it without the chili sauce. Their bread and olive oil is delicious if you want some bread for the table - much better than it used to be a decade ago. The bread is soft and warm. The olive oil is seasoned. Husband also likes the split pea soup which is vegetarian and quite flavorful. Overall a cozy experience. Only caveat is that the host seems to seat people strangely. So if there's a type of table or booth you like and you see it's open, just request it. He's really flexible with requests. read more

My wife ordered food for me to pick up. It was a salmon piccata meal and a mushroom and pepperoni and sausage pizza. She gets a call from Sebastian at California pizza kitchen and Sebastian said you picked linguine and pappardelle noodles. Which one do you want? Sebastian never confirms that we apparently wanted both meals plain. When I got home and noticed I called and talked to Sebastian. He said yes, you ordered both meals plain. Got the buffalo cauliflower, steakhouse salad, California veggie pizza on cauliflower crust, Neapolitan pizza on thin crust, and braised short rib ragu pasta to share for five of us. Everything was fantastic. The cauliflower crust tasted just like the normal crust. Both were super thin which is my fav type of crust. The veggie pizza was loaded with so many veggies I loved it. Also loved the burrata on top of the Neapolitan pizza. The salad was great! Love the kick from the blue cheese and the spiciness from the arugula. The steak was just a bit tough but not bad. Asked for dressing on the side but our server forgot and apologized. The pasta was so flavorful and the short rib was fall apart tender. Our server was very attentive and the food came pretty quick. My friend and I met at the mall for a quick meal and to catch up. It was happy hour so drinks and apps are 1/2 off. I tried the sparkly mango sangria, which I probably wouldn't normally order but it was half off. My friend ordered a bbq pizza and I saw that you get a coupon for a free pizza on the next visit. I picked a half Chopped Italian salad. Our food was good, I forgot to take pictures until we were almost done. Our server was friendly and tried their best but my friend said they didn't "mesh" with them. Not quite sure what that meant. I always enjoy their salads and I give them credit for listing calorie counts and having plenty of healthier choices, like gluten-free options, cauliflower crust and their power bowls. CPK is not trendy but the pizzas are decent and they have great salads. Not sure why the restaurant was only half full especially when they are giving away food. we ordered 2 items, both were completely wrong! this is the mushroom pepperoni sausage pizza we ordered last night. i get home and open the box, I immediately call CPK and talk to a guy named sebastian, he almost seemed like he was expecting my call. he told me that when my wife ordered the food online that she must have clicked on all the ingredients and requested a blank pizza. There is a new salad I wanted to try - a Shrimp Miso salad. It is sooo good. All of the salads from CPK are good and come in full or half sizes, which is like. This new shrimp miso salad is now something I crave. It's bright and clean and is just delicious with the miso and dressing. The pea and barley, as well as tortilla soup are very good as well. First things first, the pizza is amazing. I get the Thai chicken pizza on cauliflower crust. It's so fricken good. The staff is so friendly. I want to give a special shoutout to Abraham. I'm not sure if he's also the bartender, but he was our server, and he was so sweet to my mom. I've attached a picture of the card I give to hosts at restaurants to give to our server before they visit our table. Abraham read the card, and came right over. He was an absolute gem. He was so kind and compassionate, and he treated my mom like gold. At the end of the meal, I told him we could trade places for the day so he could take her shopping and give me a break lol Anyway, in addition to his kindness and attentiveness, he was very knowledgeable about the menu. He is also the first CPK server to ever ask if I was a rewards member. I wonder how many points I've missed out on... Here is a business card to sign up for our promotion group... did you sign up and what is the phone number you used? For every entree you get a pizza to take home for $8. Which one will you take? They are full sized. I can keep them in the cooler. Sign up for this thing and you get a free appetizer next time. Buy the mac n cheese. It's on special at a price never offered (I tuned out and remembered fewer details the longer the meal). Food totally acceptable for the price but also definitely not something to make a trip out for. And the take home pizza deal is actually annoying when they emphasize the pizza at table is up to $30 but you can take home and heat up the same for $8. Cleanliness okay. Came here on a weekday for dinner with a reservation. Don't know if it's covid rules, but we were not allowed to be seated until the whole party has arrived. Even though the restaurant was empty we had to wait at the entrance area. The waitress was nice and the food came out at a decent time. We got the mimosa sampler for drinks and lettuce wraps for starters. For entre's we got pasta, salad, spinach dip, fish tacos and a chicken salad. Overall the food and drinks were good and the portions were big. Parking was great because of the lot right out in the front since it is at the outlet mall, so that is a plus. read more

I love this place! It is one of my favorite places to go eat whenever I feel like eating some pizza and salad when I'm in the area. My all-time favorite salad is the Thai Crunch! Ever since I was introduced this by my coworker, I can't get enough of it. I usually do the half one because the full one is too big for me to eat alone, especially if you were to get it with chicken too. If I were going with my family, I would order the full-size one so we can all share. I saw they have this new pizza called the Thai Chicken pizza, so I decided to give it a try to see if it's any different than my favorite salad. It was not bad. They had some spicy peanut sauce added to it, so similar to eating that same peanut sauce that you eat with the skewer chicken. I also ordered their Buffalo Cauliflower. It is one of my favorite appetizers. If you ask me, I really couldn't tell it was cauliflower. The sauce was enough to cover everything that you can't even see what's in it. I also ordered the Jambalaya pasta. It was my dad's favorite. Even though he passed away, every time I go here and see this on the menu, I will always think of him. I'll be honest, it's been quite some time since I've been to this location, pre- Covid. And the last time I ate at a California Pizza Kitchen - my mind draws a blank - perhaps I was in the Philippines? I saw the meal deal like everyone else so I made the order. The waiting area is adjacent to the entrance and outdoor seating. You call the number and they come right out. Convenient and excellent customer service. As for the food, the generously made pizza was tasty and the thin crust is more foldable than a crispy cracker type crust. I like all thin crust so it was enjoyable for me. The Elotes (corn) was just ok, I didn't think it was anything too special. Now the crunchy Thai Salad - wow! That has everything one can want - I loved the edamame, peanuts, the peanut Thai dressing - this was 5 stars on its own. Thank you for the loaf of French bread, I fell in love with Baguettes whilst in Normandy, so this was a pleasant surprise. I'm tempted to get the same exact thing for my next order. This is the first time I was at California kitchen in Old orchard now called Westfield. The service was good and the food was average which portions that could be a little larger. I hade shrimp zucchini with noodles and it needed a lot more seasoning to be considered good, my friend had chicken piccata and it had a nice taste but a somewhat small portion. The sangria tasted like sweet pop do I won't order it again. The place is spotlessly clean and we sat and talked after our meal which was okay with the wait staff. My meal with the drink was $45 and I'm not sure I would go back. I don't eat pizza which might be their specialty. read more

Love love CPK. Food is constantly good. I have few go to favorites which include the California Cob salad; Thai crush salad; Chicken Tequila Fettuccine; and Crispy Fish Tacos. I really think you can't go wrong with these items. I also like that the CPK menu is pretty straight forward not too many options that make it overwhelming. I always do the self pick up option which is extremely convenient. There is dedicated pick up parking at this busy location. I don't know maybe I am just too excited that I don't have to cook and do the dishes but I really love CPK. read more

We ordered curbside order for 2 kids meals with pizzas from this location. We pulled up into the reserved spot and called to inform them we were outside. They said they would be out when the order was complete. Perfect. Well we waited and time went and the order still hadn't come out. We waited some more and still no delivery of the food. We were in the car when one of the workers came running out to our car. He told us that they had an issue with the ovens and were remaking our pizzas so they would be correct. He would bring them out once they were done. We thanked him and he went back inside. I thought it was very thoughtful that he came outside and informed us of the delay and reason. When the pizzas came out shortly thereafter, the workers were nice and upgraded our kids drinks to large sizes to make up for the wait. A nice touch and we appreciated the upgrade. She also brought over some bread (she could see that I was starving lol) that was hot and soooo delicious. Our food came out in 10-15 minutes and it was spectacular! I ordered the garlic cream fettuccini and if it were legal to marry food, I swear I would! My friends both received pizza and soup which they both said were delicious. Will not return to this CPK. After watching a pizza sit for 15 to 20 minutes on a tray, I was appalled when a server picked it up and brought it to us. I refused it requesting a fresh pizza. They took it back. A manager returned 2 minutes later with a pizza saying they wouldn't just reheat the old one. It was the manager and he dismissed me with that phrase and walked away. No apology. If I wasn't hungry I would have told them to keep the salad and the lousy reheated pizza. Horrible customer service. I had been in 3 years earlier and with poor service then waiting for a little attention to get a fork. I should have learned my lesson. I got forked a second time. Never again. read more

The criticism with the restaurant is more with the franchise itself than this particular establishment (although there was no one at the front desk when I arrived and had to wait a while before someone came back to the front desk in order to get seated) but the biggest issue with CPK is that it is WAY OVERPRICED even by today's standards. $18 for basically a PERSONAL sized pizza???? I had forgotten that they do not believe in giving customers the option to order a S-M-L-XL sized pizza etc. I ended up getting two because we were a party of 4 (kids under 14). The original BBQ was good but the 2nd one, which was a thin crust was burnt. We usually go to Cheesecake Factory and will probably continue making that my top choice. There, we at least get warm yummy bread while we wait for our food and a MUCH MORE decent portion for the price we are paying... The BBQ pizza was good but I will NOT be back out of principle because I cannot justify paying $20 for a small personal sized pizza. read more

We had a 50% discount but were unable to use it because we opened our mail; plain and simple as that. According to the waitress and their policy, if it is open they cannot validate it.... This completely blew our minds and ended up with more than $100 tab because this coupon got us in. IMO, a true example of how to dislead a customer. Disclaimer: we didn't eat here but the service while waiting for a table was just so awful I couldn't in good conscious give my money to this place. Called ahead as we had a group of 10 and they stated they would accommodate us. Got there and the host said that they only had two separate tables, cannot be pushed together due to fire hazard (which I get). There was a whole booth against the wall that was empty and when i asked if we could use it I got a very rude "it isn't in operation".... It was partly the fact that they said they would accommodate us and then didn't. I never think sitting at two different tables is a real accommodation for a large party. I asked another worker if we could use the booth, he said no due to COVID- which makes NO sense because that just means everyone is just more packed in the center. His reasoning was that us close to the take out section. Now--if a person is just walking by ur table, the chances of catching COVID are so very low. You have to be exposed for long periods at a time. Totally not based on any science or logic. One table had 6 chairs and the other had 4. Once we had 6 people there, we asked if we could sit and he rudely said no because he had just seated another table and the waiter had to get to them first....like..I get it, but can we just sit and wait at the table?? Mind you- this is on a Tuesday evening- not an extremely busy weekend night. Just extremely unhelpful and rude. We ended up leaving and eating at magiannos and they accommodated us just fine.
