Milt's Service Garage

Milt's Service Garage

On Monday, July 13, 2026, I had to take my 2012 VW Jetta in for an oil leak. Even when I take my…read morecar in for routine maintenance, I always have a great experience with Milts service garage. The staff is always friendly, professional, honest and from start to finish Milts always completes the work needed in a timely manner. Before they started the job of fixing the oil leak, they took time to explain the work needed clearly, and perform the service needed in a timely manner, as well as making sure my car was running smoothly before I left the service garage. I appreciate their expertise, and their attention to details. I highly recommend Milts service garage to anyone looking for reliable, trustworthy, and high-quality car care service.

Milt's garage was fantastic from the moment we called on the phone to ask about the cost of getting…read morea repair done. Jazz was wonderful to us on the phone, and you got the feeling that these guys were proud of what they do and they were genuine people, not a shop trying to scam you out of your hard-earned money. They were honest and straightforward in what they did to our car. We have a 2010 Honda CRV and the AC compressor needed to be replaced, which is a very expensive job. We knew it was going to be expensive, but we also wanted someone that we could totally trust so they didn't charge us another $1,000 more. I had a good feeling when we walked into the waiting room. Jazz greeted us right away, as well as the mechanics walking in and out; they all greeted everybody in the room, telling them hello. You just don't get that at normal places. We have never been here, and because of the wonderful reviews, we thought we'd definitely want to give them a shot. We do not regret using them to repair our car. When it all came down to the total $$$, Jazz was able to save us another $300 off the initial cost because he was able to source a slightly less expensive AC compressor for the car. They also follow up with you a week later to see if everything is okay; you get the feeling that this is run by some really good, honest people that don't want to rake you over the coals like some of the other shops. I would highly recommend giving them a call and talking to them if you're hesitant about it. You'll probably have the same experience I did. I would definitely go back to them for any of my car issues in the future.

This is the best place in Vallejo to get tires alignment or suspension work done. I know because…read moreI've sold tires in the past for Sears as a manager. So my suspension was making some odd noise and my tire was wearing out early. Originally took it to an alignment shop on Broadway next to Chevron. That guy gave me back my Toyota w the steering wheel cocked to the left just to drive straight. Took it right back. Now my tire is doing the exact same thing. Went back again and he tells me to take it to a general mechanic to figure out if I need a tie rod or not. Anyways I just saw Shack and he let me know my bearings in my axle are bad, yeah the one I got from AutoZone. So he basically told me to replace the axle first then come back for an alignment. To be honest I was willing to pay him for the alignment today but he didn't push or suggest it. You talk about an honest and reputable location! This is it.

I then called another mechanic that had serviced my car in the past, only to find out he was booked. I was under a time crunch and wanted to get my brakes taken care of that day; my solution was to turn to Yelp. I found B&B Tire and gave them a call. They said to stop by and indeed I did. They were friendly, efficient and honest. I was told my rear brake pads needed to be changed soon, but it wasn't necessary that day. They fixed my front brakes and changed my wiper blades just in time for rainy season. I definitely recommend B&B.

There was the same person that gave me great service before her name is Kenahdee. She went under the car and immediately addressed the issue. She then checked the air in my tires and oil. No charge for the follow-up. If you have not tried Jiffy Lube in Vallejo, I strongly Reccomend you do. Ask for Kenahdee!

Jiffy Lube has become one of go to whenever I need an oil change. When you pull up, there are three…read moreservice lanes, so it's easy to pick the one with the shortest wait. As soon as I parked, one of the technicians came over to greet me. I told him I was there for an oil change, and he asked if it was my first time visiting. When I told him no, he asked if I wanted the same service as last time. I said yes, and he replied, "Have a seat in the lobby, and someone will be right with you." I really appreciated that he already knew my service history and got straight to the point. It made the check-in process quick and easy. I waited in the lobby for no more than three minutes before my name was called. That actually caught me off guard because I had forgotten they already had my information in their system. The advisor confirmed the service I wanted and let me know it would take no more than 30 minutes, which I thought was a very reasonable wait time. The lobby is on the smaller side, but that's not a big deal since they only service three or four cars at a time. There was a TV to watch while waiting, along with complimentary self-serve water, which was a nice touch. The only part of my visit that left me with mixed feelings was at checkout. After my oil change was finished, the technician asked me when I had last had my brakes serviced. She mentioned that my brakes felt unusual when she was moving my car. Since I had my brakes done about a year and a half ago, her comment made me wonder if something was actually wrong. I asked how much a brake inspection would cost, and she explained the price and mentioned it also included a tire rotation and would only add another 30 to 40 minutes. Based on what she told me, I agreed to have it done because I didn't want to take any chances. When everything was finished, she told me my brakes were completely fine. While I was relieved nothing was wrong, I couldn't help but feel like I had been talked into an additional service that I probably didn't need. I'm not saying she intentionally tried to mislead me, but the way the conversation was presented made it seem like there was likely an issue with my brakes, and that concern is what convinced me to authorize the inspection. I think the experience would have felt much better if, after finding nothing wrong, there had been some acknowledgment that the concern turned out to be unfounded whether that was waiving or discounting the inspection or simply apologizing for the unnecessary worry. Instead, I left feeling like I had paid for a service based on a possible issue that didn't actually exist.
