These "pork egg rolls" look nothing like the photos on the website. They were greasy beyond belief, had virtually nothing inside & no pork.

We saw a good review for the Vietnamese Curry, and tried out the restaurant despite some negative reviews of other dishes such as Pho. The staff was friendly. The Vietnamese curry was the worst dish I have ever ordered at any Asian restaurant. The menu states that this dish was supposed to have had coconut milk in it. There was NO coconut milk- simply a plain brown sauce with virtually no flavor. The beef was tough, low quality and not tasty. The pork egg rolls were unbelievably bad- greasy, had virtually nothing inside them and certainly no pork - yuck!! I do not recommend this restaurant.

I'm giving it two stars and hoping that it was so lack luster cause I got take out and didn't dine in. I might have been spoiled living so close to Pho Tau Bay, Quang, and Pho 79 for so long, but this was so sub par... 1. no basil for my pho, only lettuce(iceberg) and parsley 2.the broth was lacking depth, looked a little like weak tea 3. the spring roll also only had lettuce, lacked flavor and the pork in it was super dry my Sig other fared better with his egg foo young combo, not the best he's ever had but passable. I'm going to give this place another shot dining in the next week and will update my review then.

Yeah! I loved my lunch here today. The staff was quick to see to our needs and the food was great! A colleague of mine asked me to meet her here for lunch. The prices were reasonable and the food hot and fast. I ordered the Beef Pho (#1) and my friend special ordered shrimp pho (minus the noodles and added veggies). We were both very pleased with our meals. I want to come back and try some of the other menu items. This will become a regular lunch spot and meeting place for me in Northeast!

This was my first experience eating Pho so I didn't really know what to expect or where it would be good. Chose this place and at first glance I was unsure. I got the Pho Bo and it was very good! Large portions. Good service. Atmosphere had a very unique vibe. A lot of people picking food up, so my bf and I were the only people in the restaurant. Would love to try their iced coffee sometime!

Awful food. The broth is clear and all MSG. The wontons have a teaspoon of cream cheese in them. There is probably 3oz of beef in the order. I will never order from here again and urge you not to either.

    Korean beef

Maybe the food in my photo looks good to you.. But Cali's never fails to disappoint me. I've eaten the pho twice and it's probably the worst I've had in the Twin Cities. Totally bland and hardly any meat. Today, I tried the Korean beef and wishing I had my $11 back. Not pictured is the egg roll which was the best part. Overall, the food seems sloppy and it's not a good value. I don't usually leave reviews but 3 strikes, you're out.

Lunch Special: Lemongrass tofu, tofu spring roll and fried rice $6.25 Good portions, decent taste, but the lemongrass was quite salty. Unfortunately, this was my first time eating Vietnamese, so I don't have much to compare it to. However, the price, location, wait staff, service and portions will have me coming back!

Pho soup was cold and no basil provided. Egg roll was ok. Otherwise I would have 3 star.

Bubble tea was not worth buying, tea tasted fine, but the pearls were soggy and no sweetened. And they were stingy! Place didn't seem clean.

It's a humble-looking spot inside, but it doesn't lack in its food. Most is a self-service situation where you're choosing your table to sit at, grabbing your own water, and bussing your own table if you have the time. Casual spot with some interesting pizza. Boludo seems to be Argentinian-owned and family-run. I ordered the Porteño and asked for extra parmesan because of an Instagram reel I've seen with parmesan covering the crust. Due to a small misunderstanding, they ended up giving me something even better.... A fully parmesan-covered pizza. It was probably the best thing I've eaten that entire trip. Truly a great blend of salt, acid, fat, and heat. The second day I tried the Campo and tried to ask for the same cheese covering but ended up with the style I saw in the reel with the crust covered in cheese. It was still good, but not as good as my first order. They have a pretty solid Caesar salad as well! I would genuinely fly back to try this place again.

I've been here a ton of times but always for take out. The restaurant is self service meaning you sit yourself and get your own water. It was really busy when we went but food came out in about 20 minutes for how packed the restaurant was. The empanadas are a must. I've tried most of them but the carne is my favorite. And the chimichurri is so good with a nice vinegar kick with fresh herbs The Campo pizza comes with chorizo, mushrooms, onions and mozzarella. The best part is the parmesan cheese they put on the crust. I would like the amount of cheese on the crust they show in pictures match what you get in person. Our pizza was really heavy on the mozz and not enough balance of the other ingredients. Also got the flan which has candied pecans and dolce de leche on top and the custard below. It tastes the best when you have a bite of everything but the jar they put it in makes it difficult. If you like flan it's a good dessert to try.

The girl dinner - on Sundays-Thursdays only after 8pm - consisted of a mini Caesar salad, vodka pasta, rosemary fries, and a Hugo spritz. Delish! As always, the food is fantastic and the service was good. Parking is about what you'd expect in downtown Minneapolis (paid street or paid lots) but they do have a small parking lot in the back and if you're lucky you may get a spot.

My friends and I did the girl dinner here and it was so good! We all thought it was the perfect amount of food, we loved that it's a set menu so we didn't have to make any decisions! Pasta, salad, fries and a drink for $20?! In Minneapolis! Great deal! Love that they have sparkling water as an option for no extra charge. We celebrated a birthday here too that night and appreciated the candle from the server. I really hate going to Minneapolis and paying for parking but it was worth it for this night! We just found some street metered parking. Such a fun time! Check it out if you are in the area.

If you're looking for a table indoors and the main area is packed, head to the back (towards bathrooms) where you'll find two rooms with additional seating which are usually quieter. - I tend to go for sandwiches, which include house made chips. Honestly, when I first went, I wasn't a fan of the chips, but it didn't take long for me to like them. Once while dining in, I found that most of them were just tiny bits. Well when the waiter came to ask how things were, I told/showed him... just as an FYI, not expecting anything. I used to love the coconut cake, but something about the last one I bought tasted different. The filling and the cake texture... weren't as tasty as I remember.
