I asked for light ice and 1/2 sugar in both of the Thai milk tea. I got full ice and full sugar in both. This photo is after 30min. Why even bother to have ice levels and sugar level on menu? I understand it is soft opening. Maybe they need to use cups with ice and sugar level printed on the cups and make sure employees follow the markings. There was a lost of communication between cashier and staff on ice&sugar. I did see the light ice and 1/2 sugar on the screen. $5 for a cup is not cheap. At least get the order right. There are several options of boba places. So far, only 1 shop down the street gets it right every time. It is NOT hard if you follow the instructions. Maybe CaliTea needs to train the staff on different levels of sugar and ice. Practice, practice, practice. Hope they get it right before Grand Opening. read more

Tried their oolong milk tea (extra boba of course) and coffee frappe and it definitely hit the spot! Love the vibe in the store. Can't wait until sit down is available. My wife told me about this place opening next to our house. They are currently is soft opening status but they are amazing. They told me they would put drizzle all around the cup, got the drink and there was absolutely no drizzle. So I asked them where the drizzle was and they took it back and took another long time just to put a little drizzle on the top. I had already waited so long I was just over it and left with my drink. The store is clean and simply decorated, and while it can be quiet or busy, the wait is usually short. There was one busy occasion with only one staff working, who seemed very flustered and stressed, but she handled it well until three more staff arrived. Hopefully, that was an anomaly. One of the best boba spots in Cerritos! If you are a boba lover you must check it out. The boba texture is perfect, not soggy, not hard, it's soft, chewy and it's sweet. The boba is Not plain flavorless like some other boba spots. They never disappoint and great customer service. My go to drinks are Thai tea with boba, brown sugar milk tea with boba and fresh milk with boba. Some other great tasting drinks that aren't teas are the Organic lemonades. My favorite are the strawberry passion lemonade and the ocean blue lemonade with added lychee jelly and rainbow jelly. read more

There was no option for sweetness. Customer service needs improvement... when I go into a store, it's annoying when the employees chit chat with each other & don't acknowledge the customers. Good thing we got to meet a nice lady who was entertaining my baby girl. Would I come here again? Probably not because of the lack of customer service. I used to like this place until they messed up two of my drinks and lied when I complained. I'm usually not one to complain and confront people but this time I had to. I ordered 4 drinks and had to clarify my first coffee two times. Seemed to take the employee awhile to input my drinks and I ordered three other cold drinks ALL with honey boba which I specified after each drink. My mistake was not asking for my receipt but after calling the store to complain the manager really disappointed me. They had to verify my complaint THREE times and proceeded to lie to me over the phone saying that they repeated my order back, which they never did! The only thing they clarified was if my coffee had soy milk. I'm very disappointed in the quality of customer service. I wanted a credit since I did not have time to get my drinks remade and I still have yet to receive it. Luckily there's plenty of other boba options. Sorry CaliTea but I'm not impressed. read more
