I do most of my own vehicle maintenance, but A/C work is one area I leave to the professionals, only after I have messed it up on my own. After calling around Campbell, I was quoted anywhere from $100 to $210 more than what I ended up paying at Stress-Free Auto Care. The shop is clean, the staff is professional, courteous, and well-presented, and they got my truck finished quickly. What really stood out was the inspection report. They checked all the major components on my truck and included photos of everything. As someone who likes to work on my own vehicles, I appreciated being able to see exactly what they were looking at instead of just taking their word for it. Fair pricing, great communication, and no nonsense. That's getting harder to find these days

Many non-dealer shops really do inflate their jobs, then get you with finding "more" things to fix that are hard to self detect or see, especially with older cars that have lots of mileage. Renson might not be cheap, but call it fair pricing for professional work that gets done right, no hassle. While the car is being evaluated and worked on, they always give timely calls to update me if things come up. I've had our car towed to the shop for unexpected issues and they were able to turn the car around in a day. Like with any car repair, ask a lot of questions, Renson does a good job of honest answering for anything I put to them.

This was interesting, because I've never been to a drive-through oil changing place before. We…read morewere somewhat overdue for an oil change on my daughter's car and our usual service place isn't open on weekends, so we checked reviews and this particular Oil Changers had strong reviews, so we came here. I got out of the car because no one came to us, but didn't realize right away that if I wanted the full experience, I needed to get back in (passenger side as my daughter was driving). You get to pick between the standard oil filter or the upgraded one ($17 upcharge) which apparently filters more stringently, but we didn't opt for that. No pressure here, they ask and accept if if you say you'll stick with the default. They do quite a lot of checks (air filter, tire pressure, etc) and at least this particular location kind of runs it like a "military" operation where they're calling out things fairly formally to each other (there were two gentlemen doing the service together). They showed us that they filled the oil to the right level between the dots, which no place has done before (Speedee or Jiffy Lube never did), they washed our windows. It was $113 for a Prius and we had a $10 coupon, but with taxes, disposal fees, etc, it was $108.xx out the door, which is probably pretty typical for a synthetic oil change. They did suggest we do some things the next time (radiator flush, transmission fluid down the road, brake fluid, etc) - which since this was our first time there, I have no idea how they would know when we last had them done unless they were gauging this by the color of the fluid or by mileage. I don't hold this against them, but I just wasn't sure what the basis of the recommendations were as we had had major service less than 5K miles ago. So overall, nice gentlemen, fair price, quick service, thorough checklist of items. When we need just an oil change, we'd be happy to come here again.

Both gentlemen were very nice and got straight to helping me out. They even helped with checking my tire pressure and wiping down my front window which I very much appreciated. Since my neighborhood those little annoying sap trees, it's hard and expensive to get a car wash often, so I appreciated the small gesture of cleaning my window. I wish there was a Starbucks still across the street but sadly it shut down. I'm not one to eat a bunch of donuts, but there is a donut shop across the street as well as a breakfast Style restaurant. Nevertheless, for 100 bucks and a $20 discount coupon I found online everything was done in a timely manner so I was happy. I can't believe their prices are so expensive, then again everything is expensive nowadays!

However, I was so impressed with their professionalism and care that I kept coming back. It's now my go-to place!
