I bought new front and back suspension that cost over 15k and I had Camburg do the install. I noticed about 6 months after the install that one of my rear shocks was hanging an not attached to lower mount. I took it back to Camburg to fix explaining that they were the last to touch the truck and that I hadn't gone off road either. Never in my 35 plus years of driving countless cars did I have a shock not get attached or come lose like that. They told me they couldn't take responsibility and I was on my own. After I expressed my frustration and with their service they agreed to fix it at my expense. I love their parts but their installation service/customer service is some of the worst I've experienced. Disclaimer: Admittedly this was 11 years ago. You may ask why I waited so long to post. I'm not typically the type to provide negative reviews. I've mostly kept this to myself with the exception of a sharing with few friends and family I have who are associated with the off-road race industry. But most recently one of my brother in laws expressed interest in making some modifications to his truck and had mentioned using Camburg as an option. I quickly explained that I highly recommend against that based on my experience. So I figured why not share this information for others who are interested in hearing what I had to say. This negative review has two parts. First because they charged me more than originally quoted after having my truck for far too long and second because a part in which was included in their kit broke on several occasions. In 2012 Camburg fabricated a kit for my 2007 GMC Sierra Classic 2500HD 4x4. This kit included spindles and upper arms. At the time Camburg did not sell a kit for this vehicle nor had they built one in the past, I was the first. I had previously left a deposit for a long travel system on a 4x4 ranger. I honestly can't remember how much this deposit was. Eventually I decided to sell the ranger and apply this deposit to my GMC. I wanted something simple as my intentions were for this truck to be my daily driver. I did at the time spend a lot of time in Baja and wanted something reliable. Keep in mind I have was not heavily off-roading in Baja except for the occasional maintained dirt road to get to the local fishing, camping, or surf spot. Well ultimately it was determined that my deposit should cover my expense on the newer, much simpler kit for this truck. I was happy and scheduled a drop off time for my truck. Because it was a first time custom job it was explained that they would need my truck for a couple weeks. Unfortunately a couple weeks turned into almost a month which was an extreme inconvenience. Worst part was when the truck was finally done, I was told the cost was nearly doubled from what was previously quoted. Not having any options I paid and left. Now for the fun part. Most of you are likely familiar with how the upper arm attaches to the spindle. It's basically a nut and bolt but it's called a pin. On three occasions(luckily moving slowly) the drivers side pin broke. This not only left me stranded but caused gouging on the inner wheel from the rotation as I came to a stop. It was highly inconvenient and costly to get towed back home. Each time this occurred, camburg would take zero responsibility offering nothing but an option to buy a replacement pin from them. My best guess is that because my truck was the test model for this kit, there was some kind of alignment issue causing to much stress on this pin. Unfortunately we will never know since Camburg (Jerry) never agreed to take a closer look at the parts. The excuse I got was "we've done hundreds since and never had this problem" or "that pin wasn't manufactured by us" or "this happened because you off-road in Baja." In my opinion, the idea that it's only happening on mine is a good indicator that mine indeed had an issue. But ultimately Jerry isn't too keen on customer satisfaction. I gave Jerry many opportunities to make it right but he never did. Back in 2013 I removed the Camburg parts and went back to stock. It was too stressful having to worry about when it would happen again. I haven't had a problem since. My truck is now approaching 300k miles and I still love it and feel much safer without the Camburg kit. read more

This company doesnt care about its customers. My 900$ UCAs are in shipment limbo and my truck is broke down. Called and emailed, finally contacted a real person, frustrated. Carlos took this personally and instead of fixing the problem, wasted my time by offering personal criticism and told me to return my items. I would, if I had my property. I'll be making certain to spread awareness throughout my local off-road communities and orgs I am a member of. I'm sure the company is going to try and avoid responsibility by pointing at my frustration. Camburg would do well to focus their energy on improving customer satisfaction rather than arguing with an obviously frustrated customer such as myself. Laughing at me and telling me you don't need my business is not an appropriate response to a customer complaining that he can't get the parts to fix his truck. Camburg should take accountability for the shipping services they utilize instead of passing the responsibility to their customer. I'd recommend others to use a credit card if making an online purchase from this company for your own protection. read more

Finally writing this after about 16 months from my first time customer experience with them. I ordered their stock Billet UCA and some 3.0s front and rears around spring of 2020 and then they delivered about 3+ months later because that was the start of the supply chain problems due to the you know what. The Good: Nice quality product and proper nice and organized packaging for shipping. unboxing their stuff feels real good. The not so good: * They forgot to give me the necessary nyloc tightening nuts for the UCA bolt so that's annoying because i had to reuse the OEM nut which is crappy and loosens over time, and with the Tundra you really hate dealing with anything UCA related because it is so damn hard to take them apart and put it back together than other trucks because fuel lines are in the way etc... major PITA to get a wrench in there * What I really didn't understand was when they finally delivered my Kings the shocks have a barcode with the SKU and all that and the date of manufacture. it was like one month or less from my order date. So my question is why did it take over 3+ months to send me everything? Based on all the other good reviews maybe it has to do with being an east coast guy so maybe you get put to the bottom bottom of the list haha, either way it doesn't add up. * Also yes it is true their customer service is decent but definitely not amazing, every time i called their shop to check in on my order every couple or few weeks the guys were always nice but no one really knew anything about my order, so at least as an east coaster you basically feel like you have to make sure they don't forget about you and manage them as the customer. * When you see the other reviews about them not telling you IMPORTANT things related to what you're ordering from them is absolutely true, they didn't tell me i needed a longer remote resi hose for my order, and they would know that, because the UCA i ordered from them at full droop will dig into the hose with the normal shorter hose on the 3.0 kings - So after about. one month of driving i noticed my resi hose being chewed up exactly like i described and if you look at their website they even wrote in a hidden description tab one random line that says "if you're using these shocks with aftermarket UCAs you need a longer hose" but I only saw that now in 2022 so who knows if it was there when I bought it. OK company but their E-COMM buy online experience does not really match their social media and online branding, but DEFINITELY better than a company like "Custom Offsets" xDDD now those guys are absolute clowns, and never again. All that said, I am definitely going with Dirt King this year for my L/T build, off the bat they already have way better customer service and response times than Camburg read more

Missing parts from "kit", incorrect installation manual, terrible customer service, after installation my 2022 truck with 25k miles on it is now broken!!! My horror story: I purchased the UCA and rear trailing arm "kit" from them. They had told me 4-6 weeks for the UCA... after the 4-6 weeks I contacted them about the parts, they then told me another 4-6 weeks. (they didn't call me with the update I had to call them). I had a professional who builds Baja race trucks install the "kit" and followed the installation manual to the T. Right after the installation I took the truck home, on my way home I was hearing a LOUD snapping noise coming from the front and rear on every turn. I took it back to the guy who installed it. We went through the truck front to back and found that it was coming from the rear trailing arm "kit" and somewhere else in the front. I also installed the King Shocks as well, I took it straight to King since it was closer (2 hours away). King stopped everything they were doing and took me right into the back- the engineer who designs the shocks looked over the entire truck and also found that the noise was coming from the rear trailing arm kit. He recommended that I go to Camburg and see what they say. I drove it right there... I asked for a technician or a manager and the retard at the front desk said he can look at it. So, we went out to the truck, I showed him that the entire rear trailing arm kit was wobbling so bad I could move it with my hands. The kid said "it's probably because they didn't use Loctite". I said, it had nothing to do with Loctite, get me the manager. About 5 mins later the kid came out and said the manager is busy doing inventory and if I wanted to schedule something they might be able to fit me in, in about a week. Mind you I just drove 2.5 hours... I then said NO, I'm here now... CARLOS the "manager" came out at that point and poked his head under the truck for about 30 seconds and said I was missing the wobble stops in the rear and whoever installed it, did it improperly. I thought that was odd and asked for more wobble stops, which he did give me 4. I then went back to the shop that installed the "kit" and asked to see the installation manual from Camburg. We both went through the manual, and it said that the wobble stops are only required in the front (I have pictures to prove), which is why they only came with the wobble stops for the front. So, we put in the extra wobble stops on the large trailing arms. We test drove it again and we were still hearing the noise from the rear. I called CARLOS again to tell him that we needed 4 more wobble stops for the little trailing arms (a total of 16 wobble stops NOT 8). He said he would send out 4 more. I waited three days for the package to go from southern California to southern California- more than enough time for a package to travel 80 miles. I texted CARLOS for a tracking number which he never gave me. Ended up waiting a week total for the package... NEVER came. I texted again and saying I'm on my way back to them for the extra stops since my truck has been out of commission for that week. (Small business owner who needs a vehicle to get from job to job). When I arrived, the guy at the front desk asked if he could help me, I said I need to talk to Carlos... he said regarding what, rude AF. I said about the wobble stops. About a minute later the front desk guy came out with the 4 additional stops. (Couldn't be bothered to come out of his office and hand them to me). Went back to the shop and installed them, Still hearing the noise. I texted Carlos again saying that that the entire process has been a disaster from start to "finish" and what are they going to do to resolve the issue since the installation manual is incorrect. He responded with its the installation responsibility since they didn't install the parts, they are not responsible. I thought that was a pretty stupid thing to say since they sell parts all over the country, I seriously doubt people from the east coast drive to California to have them install parts on their truck... he basically told me it's my fault for buying their shotty designed incomplete kit and I would have to bring the truck by again to get them to look at it (which is what they should have done the first time, but they were too busy doing inventory... which would still be there the next day), also, they would have to charge me to look at the truck since they didn't install it (mind you I've already spent almost $6,000 with them). Why would I take the truck back to them again, to get more money out of me... No apology from them, they still have not said this installation manual is incorrect. Now I am stuck with a truck that makes awful unnatural noises on every turn. I get that its and off-road truck and it will make noise, but this is not that kind of noise. If you drive a 2022 Tundra DO NOT GET YOU UCA AND TRAILING ARM "KIT" FROM THESE CROOKS... GO BAJA KITS!!!!! read more

These guys are truley the best. I spent a long time trying to find the right place to help me lift my truck and was I glad when I found Camburg. Let me start out with the fact that lifting your Truck the right way is not cheap so you want to make sure you have the right shop by reading reviews, calling them and asking questions. I must have spoke with them over the phone before I even spent a dollar on 5 different occasions (Thanks Anthony and Carlos). Each time they answered my questions and never once seemed bothered by them, that is hard to find these day. These guys know what customer service is all about. Once I felt like this was the shop I wanted to use they helped me pick the perfect setup for what I wanted my build to be. The only down fall if any is they are a super busy shop so the wait to have your truck worked on can be a while. But the guys at Camburg did there best to see me as soon as possible, and they even called me becuase someone cancled and they had a open spot, that saved me a few weeks of waiting. Still waiting for the final touches on a Kings suspension kit for my Lexus GX470. The crew there are awesome, very helpful and usually great at following up. I wasn't happy with the leveling of my ride post-install but the guys told me the rear springs would relax "after awhile" and it should level down in the back. It's been 4 months and I still have the stink bug, ass up look that I hate and is exactly what drove me to go for the new suspension. I called a couple weeks ago and am still waiting to bring it back in to have the guys figure out how to remedy the situation; once they do I'll edit in that 5th star! read more

Years ago Camburg installed a 5.5 lift kit on my 98 Ranger. After having the kit on for a about a month the a arm on the front driver side broke off while I was driving on a surface street(didn't off road the truck since Camburg installed it). The front tire buckled and ended up under the engine. Luckly I wasn't on the freeway or traveling very fast or I would have been killed. Camburg refused to take any responsibility for the incident. This company- will go to the ends of the earth (sorry if I'm putting you on the spot Camburg lol) to help you resolve any issue with their product... Have had the UCAs on the FJ for a while now and they work excellently - they completely eliminated my bump steer and have incredible articulation. If you think I'm done- no way. The aftermarket support: INCREDIBLE. They make a great product and stand by it until you eff it up- well, you obviously if you eff it up, it's your fault. Best company out there. I'd like to thank Greg over at Camburg Racing first off for all his help! I got upper arms and fox suspension for my 06 Tacoma. The fox suspension didnt come with any directions or advice on Adjusting the coilovers. I called Fox Inc and spoke with their "technicians" who seemed to be completely CLUELESS and was no help at all. After that I reached out to Camburg and happened to speak with Greg. He knew exactly what I had and how to work with it. He was extremely patient with me on the phone and explained things in detail. Gave me answers and suggestions for everything I threw at him. Grade: A- Husband just ordered new shocks from Camburg, and he is very happy with them. They raised his truck about 3 inches, and he plans to return to order additional parts from them. Eventually, he plans to replace his wheels and tires. Service was great. We left the truck there on Thursday afternoon and picked up less than 24 hours later. Parts and labor totaled about $1250 + tax ($1050 for parts, $200 for labor). The minus was for some squeaking on the shocks that the husband had to fix himself. Had camburg heavy duty tie rods on my Chevy. 2500hd. The inner tie rod failed and now I'm expected to buy a whole new set of $450 tie rods. I ordered a set of there 4" lift spindles for my 09 Tacoma and was soon after contacted that they were out of stock. I was happy to wait knowing that their spindles are fully fabricated and not cheaply made by use of casting. Called a few times to see where they were in production and everyone i spoke to was very helpful and kind to my questions. I received the spindles a few days after the billing process was done and the quality of the parts are amazing. Two weeks later, the parts haven't shown up. When I called to check up why, I was told they are on back order. No one contacted me to inform me of this and now I am waiting. You all need to know if you buy a rear housing from camburg plan on spending another 300 on getting it straightened and getting the face where the 3rd member mounts flattened due to the continues welding of the rear housing it warps and bends. And they do not tell you this. read more

I got there and explained the noise and a minute later the problem had been fixed. They showed me the products I needed to maintain the suspension and purchased it. I have toyota tundra that has a 3in lift in the front. I tried 3 different times to get the alignment back to normal but kept getting told that the camber was maxed out, the front tires were riding on the litter edge of the tires. Long story short I decided to order a set of upper control arms from camburg engineering and now the alignment is back tongue right way and the truck handles better then stock I am really glad I decided to order the set of UCAs from camburg engineering. read more
