They should receive zero stars. I purchased a car from them, gave a deposit, they ran my credit and I signed all the paper work. So the car was legally mine, then they tell me it has too many problems and I can't buy it. I applaud them for being up front about that aspect but I think the car should go through their inspection process before they offer it for sale. I'm only writing this review at this point because this dealership has driven me absolutely bonkers! First of all, the salesman I dealt with on the phone was terribly pushy. I got a different nice and low key salesman to show me a car, but then his manager was super pushy and rude. But that's not the worst of it. I ended up buying a car a Bill Luke (Awesome experience) and the phonecalls from Camelback just wouldn't stop...even after I'd told them multiple times that I'd bought a car and to take me off their call list. Finally, at the fifth call, I said, "Alright, now you get a bad review." I mean REEEEAAAAALLLLY. How pathetic that I have to tell them 5 times to stop calling me! Hopefully, now they'll bug off. This is an email I had to send the service writer after he continually says that I was the problem getting my car worked on. I have tried to contact the General Manager, but his admin won't return my calls to give me his email address. She went instead to Alan and told him that I was trying to contact the GM. Alan Tabarez 1st - you didn't need to rush to get me a loaner. You had my car at 8:30 in the morning an knew by noon what was to be done. 2nd - I declined an F150 (I am 70 and 5'1") because I couldn't get into it and a Eco sport where the air conditioning only works when you are moving. In Phoenix, that doesn't happen often especially on Camelback. I've been given that vehicle before, as I told you, and with a temp of 110, that wasn't going to happen. Then you wanted to give me a transit van with no windows to look out of for safety. I told you that I wasn't comfortable driving that. I also told you that I could bring the car back and we could do the work another day when a suitable loaner was available. You told me they started the work already. 3rd - You told me that the car was going to take 1 1/2 hours to detail so I couldn't pick it up until 5:30. When I finally got there at 5:50 because of the Lyft issue with you canceling the rides, I was given a Fiesta with some ones laptop and brush in the back seat. So what did they detail for 1 1/2 hours and still leave a laptop in the car? You only dropped the price because I told you I didn't want the shocks done and I would bring the car back at a later date to do the job. I told you that on Wednesday night and Thursday morning you called and said that they were already worked on. How did that happen between 5:50 and 8:00am? I had to ask what the price was for the total job and when you told me $700 I told you not to do the shocks. You said ok at that time. I never approved that job! You didn't put my vehicle in front of anyone else's because I asked you to. I told you I didn't car how long you had my car as long as I had something to drive. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to list all that happened so I can give to the GM. And, also, never email a customer in all caps in an angry manner. I have saved that email to show him as well. You should have just said you were sorry for the mess of a day. That would have been fine but you insist on making it seem like it was my fault. DON'T GO THERE!!!!! These guys sell broken vehicles that are unsafe to drive and do not care. During the sales scam, I mean pitch, they tell you over and over not to worry about the vehicle because it's covered under a 15 Day/500 Mile warranty. But I brought my vehicle back with 48 hours because it has broken struts and motor mounts, they say no problem they will fix it but after keeping my car for 11 days they then return it to me saying, "we wont fix anything because this was a budget value deal". Then the games begin. Call everyone there, get the royal runaround, everyone passing the buck, nobody knows why the car wasn't fixed or what a "budget value deal" even is. Then they refuse to return any of my calls, they lie to the BBB, The attorney general, me and each other. To this date I still cant get anyone who can make a decision there to call me back, they all just ignore me. It is so not worth it to buy from these guys. Too many other dealerships care about their customers, believe in the product they sell and value their reputation, These guys don't, they just want to make a quick buck. read more

Had my vehicle serviced twice here. Since it was under warranty I didn't have to pay anything. But I did pay for an oil change which was priced at $33. The first time I was helped by Mike and the second time by Krista. Since the problem with my car had to do with a high pitched noise, the first time they couldn't duplicate it, but when I brought in video of the noise exhibiting itself, they fixed it promptly. I like how they gave me estimates on how long it would take to get my car fixed. I was always updated and informed on the progress on my car. I think by them giving estimated wait times, it helps the gauge customer expectations. When I received my vehicle everything was fixed to my satisfaction and I haven't had any problems with it since. This dealership doesn't have a shuttle car. At Volkswagen dealership they had car loaners. But then again every time I went to get my VW fixed, it would end up costing at least $300. It would be nice if Ford Lincoln Mercury at least had a shuttle car. Enterprise car rental is very close by. If you decide on renting a car from them it will cost around $50/day after taxes. It looks like they are doing some work on their service center, since they moved to a different building. I don't know how much money the service center brings in revenue for the dealership, but it might be worth it to update the waiting area. They should really have a different yelp page for the service center as most of these reviews on here are for the car buying experience. I would get my car serviced at Ford Lincoln Mercury again. All the service center people are friendly and they don't try to sell you service work you don't need. I hated going to Camelback Volkswagen because they would always try and sell me on some maintenance work that didn't need to be done and the smallest thing would end up costing $300, pretty shady. I think overall that Camelback Honda has the best experience for a service center. I like the experience of getting my car fixed at Ford Lincoln Mercury better than at Camelback Volkswagen. I have been to Camelback Ford for service on my truck a few times now, and each time I impressed with how personable the service staff is. I am always addressed in reassuring and truthful ways, explained in detail what is going on with my vehicle and given timely updates. With other service facilities I have felt like I was a number to be rushed in and out, but here I feel taken care of, like they are the Cheers of car repair options, because they always know my name and they are always glad I came. We first got there a few months back in order to test drive a few models with NO intention of buying on the spot - as we told salesman. We also wanted to get an estimate on a *trade in*. So, the salesperson told us that they would inspect the car while we were test driving.. So we left them our keys. Big mistake, but I will get back on this in a few moment.. As we were simply looking for a second vehicle we did specify we did not want any bells and whistles on it .. we wanted to test drive the BASIC model.. There were several basic models in the lot , yet they insisted we tried the fully loaded version.. and then started showing us limited editions and platinum versions... We finally got him to understand we did NOT want a luxurious model as a second car... he did not like that.. After the test drives were over we sat down to talk about the estimate.. what a joke..they quoted us on a fully loaded model that we drove, the trade in was not even close to kelly bluebook for an almost brand new car and the salesperson kept going back and forth to his manager that was glaring at us from his back office considering there ridiculous price.We asked for pricing on a lease - they gave us pricing on purchasing both vehicles! The best part was when I got the quote for the lease, it was more than to purchase it according to ford.com online. When he took the page, saw us upset, started marking down the price telling us he was going to get us down to what we wanted. First off, we're A plan customers - meaning Ford already sets the price. I don't understand how he could "come down" potentially $100 a month if they are fair pricing. I think it came down to he did not include the dealer/local rebates so he could play around with the price, but who knows. After *AT LEAST* 2 hours of trying to get a fair price.. the salesperson goes back to get his manager to sit with us. He was insisting that we purchase the cars today.. We finally made the decision to just walk away, but they were still holding on to our keys insisting on "what would it take to walk out with 2 cars today"... We finally were able to get our keys and got out of there.. After that horrible experience the calls started.. They have harassed me daily with their calls for over 2 months! Needless to say, we went up to N. Scottsdale, leased a vehicle with no hassles - they even gave me the invoices and proved the costs - and gave us straight up standard service. Another case of the pretty dealership doesn't always give you the best service. If I weren't connected to Ford, I would probably even go across the street and start looking at other companies. read more

So I bought a Mustang from them and they basically did their best to rip you off at every corner. I was expecting it but my God lets start from the beginning of the lies: 1. Cannot use a credit card to purchase vehicle. Of course the salesman didn't mention it before offering me a test drive. And why can't we? Could I use a debit card and pay cash? Why can I only put a down payment? Oh thats right because you don't make money for your partners if I don't take a loan. Right. 2. That guy over there really wants this car. You'd better hurry. - Yea ok, noted. 3. The online price was our best price for another vehicle, a vehicle that we sold between the 2hrs of you reserving your car and driving here we sold it.- Even though these cars are exactly the same and you only had that one listed online? Ok. Now you want me to pay you $5K extra for the same car with 4,000 miles less? Noted. 4. (This one was crazy, in my head I was thinking lawsuit because I still have the receipt for my battery change for tax season) ::: "Your vehicle looks old and in the middle of your test drive the battery shutdown. But its ok we'll over look that". - They basically found some way to kill my battery during their inspection even though I just had the battery replaced 2 month ago and its not even hot out or ever really in direct sunlight (which deteriorates the life of batteries faster in AZ) 5. They told me to get a loan through their partner and my rate would not be lower today but it will go down by the time the process is complete. Lie its the exact same. 6. They told me I don't need my Progressive Auto Insurance because their dealer insurance policy was better. I wish I got that in writing, I'd sue them for everything the next time I go into an accident. Their little financial manager literally let me drive off the lot with absolutely no car insurance. This is what took the cake of all the shady criminal practices. He told me I could cancel it anytime that I wanted and I didn't realize it wasn't car insurance. Every other dealer I talked to said they can be held liable for that. 7. I called them for over 2 weeks trying to cancel the plan when I did find out that it was not car insurance as it was sold to me as just that. I left 3 different messages and txt messaged the scumbag who sold it to me and got the wrap around. Then one day I called from a different number come to find out the most likely had my number blocked some way and I got routed to the sleazy financial manager and said to CANCEL this rip off policy. After telling me multiple times 3 weeks ago when I bought it that I could cancel over the phone it says no I have to drive an hour 1 way to sign a paper and get a lecture on why I misunderstood him. There was no misunderstanding he knew exactly what he was doing. 8. A week later I'm checking my car note everyday waiting to see a refund. Nothing the I get a letter in the mail from the policy place MPP and I'm like wtf. I said ok I'm done dealing with Camelback Ford. MPP conveniently had a number I could call and I come to find out after signing that paper at the dealership they did NOTHING. I asked MPP to cancel it and they canceled it in minutes. I reported Camelback Ford to them so they know the probably illegal methods they are using to sell their insurance and it is recorded. I should not have been allowed to drive off the lot without proof of car insurance. Camelback Ford you messed with the wrong man. I look forward to sending this to the BBB next week! in the last week My wife went into drop off 2013 ford explorer for recall that came up on our VHR. They said it didnt need service. They uphold her to do motor mounts mind you we have the extended warranty. $100 deductible. Why did they charge her 129? Oh it was shop fees. JACOB said for oil and rags and topping off fuels. SINCE when do motor mounts need oil. And 29 to throw away a motor mounts into a dumpster? Oh to top off fluids that were just topped off a week ago at Courtesy Chevrolet? New car sales was not a good experience. I was mislead about delivery time which they really didn't need to do. I would have waited patiently. Then they acted like the promise wasn't made for that time frame. Basically calling me a liar. I was also mislead on some features about the vehicle. I asked if it had automatic adjusting seats. The sales people said it did well it did not. And to top things off, they did not get my personalized plates transferred to the new vehicle. And now they told me to just go take care of it at the MVD. Great, now I get to go take half a day to take care of the problem that they created. Not impressed. We needed a second vehicle, my husband and went to look at a truck that we seen on the website but it was taken. Seen some other trucks on their website but they were unavailable. We kept asking for the price of the vehicles and they wouldn't even tell us. Everything was okay until I seen our contract the price on the internet was 923 cheaper, than what was written. I talk to the finance guy, he was nice and helpful. He told me I need to talk to the sales person. The sales person said the price didn't include the ads (whatever that means). Then he said once the contract was signed there is nothing that can be done. I guess I won't be buying an Expedition from them. But the finance guy, Taylor, was awesome! read more

I arrived with set appointment. They take my keys and look at my car for trade before I ever see the suv I am there to see. It took 20 mins before I ever saw the suv. Once I did, a $20+ suv has a cracked windshield two that go across the windshield. It had a low beam malfunction and we had 5 miles of gas for me to drive it. I go back and say yes I like you run my credit but as I stated in my call when making appointment that I can not stay.. I was there 4 hours. Even told them they held my keys hostage. They had them the whole time. I had to cancel the rest of my work day. They finally come with numbers that I can work with. I finally leave telling them I need to think about it, they didn't like this. The next day I drag my feet but tell them where I am on numbers. They get me there. I go in next day. They told me all paperwork was ready. It was not. They even tried to rework the deal. Lucky I had a text and I showed them this is what I am to get. They had nothing fixed either on suv. This takes 2 hours and I am not even in finance yet. I have a meeting that evening which I made very clear before I came in and while I was playing their game for 2 hours. Finally we walk to finance, they need stuff from me. I ask should o come back after my meeting? How much do you need? I have 40 mins. I ask the finance guy he says like 20-30 mins, I ask salesperson how much he will need after. Finance man gets upset and say salesman isn't a part of this. I said who walks me to my car puts the plate on it? Is that you .. he then just says I am moving on to next guy... I walked out and did not buy this car.. I liked it a lot but they were rude, disrespectful and quite frankly the managers act as though they are to busy and they have plenty of sales.. cause they only thought of their need and didn't care about my time, what was already decided. I feel bad for salesman. He lost out because his managers don't need sales. They apparently have plenty. Made an oil change appointment at 0652 on Monday morning. I received an email acknowledging the appointment (the dealership knew I was coming and what was needed for my service). I arrived 10 minutes early (1150) and was told it would be a 2 hour wait. It's a diesel truck, they're busy, I get it. Waited the 2 hours, then went to check on the truck only to find that they hadn't even started on it. Turns out they had to get the oil filter from another dealership. They knew I was coming and knew I would need an oil filter. Why wasn't it there for the service? Service guy says it'll be another hour. Ok, fine, not like I'm going to walk out now. 45 minutes later I see my service writer talking to a guy in a white shirt. The service guy asked something about discounting my service because of the wait time. Mr. White shirt said "I don't fucking care, that's $140!" This conversation happened inside the cashier area and within earshot of customers. 20 minutes later, the truck is done and I declined the complimentary wash. My bad...the truck had oily fingerprints on the driver's door, on the door panel, on the seat, on the grill and on the B pillar. the service writer did his best to clean them all off. Summary...wow. I really hoped for a better experience from Camelback Ford. I've been here several times before and never had anything like this happen. Customer service, as we use to know it, is a dying art. On 4/27/18 I brought my truck in for a factory recall on the passenger air bag. I arrived 5 min early to be told my service advisor was not available for another 20-30min. After I told the two greeters this was unacceptable, my service advisor, Titus, came out. Titus was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable, despite upselling as much service as he could, he helped get the experience back on track. Service advisor recommended a laundry list of services ($1,975 worth), including an oil change (including engine air filter), 3rd brake light and more. I declined all but the oil change and added a "premium car wash." One thing I did ask was that they top off all fluids as I knew my coolant was low. What was not noted in their "Quick Lane Multi-point Inspection" was an obvious coolant leak. When I got home and popped the hood I found that the engine air filter was not changed, the coolant was bone dry and my brake light was working. Also, my car had been washed, yes, but not $16.95 worth. Maybe a quick rinse. Truck bed still had bird droppings on the inside. Not only will I not return to this location, even for warranty work, but I will actively advise friend/family against. read more

I have to say that our experience with this dealership so far has been miserable. We have a 2013 Ford Taurus that experienced a sudden problem today. I took it to Bill Luke Fiat, but we found out the problem was with the fuel pump and too complicated for them. I called Camelback Ford as it is very close to us. My biggest problem is that this is a long procedure that will take multiple days. I can not use the vehicle that is overheating with a bad fuel pump. But they could not book me for a rental car until 3/21. Clearly they need more rental cars. Why would I ever come here if they can't get you a loaner vehicle for an emergency? read more

So Ive been interested in buying a Jeep Liberty for a couple years but have some commitment issues when it comes to needing to pay things every month. Who doesnt, right? I was referred by a friend to check out this dealership since i was in the market for an SUV and compared to some other places Ive been to, i was pretty impressed. I called in to set up an appointment and spoke with a Jesus Bermudez. He invited me in that same day so I took advantage of my day off and went. On a side note....The location of this auto strip mall is the worst lol. Super cramped and ya never know when someone is just gonna 'yolo' his life away and step out into a busy street. But anyway, I was greeted as soon as i arrived and Jesus seemed genuinely interested in what style SUV i wanted and why. Usually sales guys want to know just enough to use in their pitch when you have objections but i felt absolutely no pressure. He opened my eyes to the Flex and Explorer and answered all of my questions. I told him i wasnt 100% on board though because a Jeep Liberty was what ive wanted for so long and he actually spoke to his manager and said they would find the one i wanted and add it to their inventory so i wouldnt have to settle! Im sure later down the road I just might consider buying a Ford SUV though because they seem like great family vehicles. Being a sales professional myself, I was very eager to negotiate the terms of my purchase. Upon rejecting the first 3 offers (as everyone should), I sat down with the manager (Brian). This was by far the best experience I've had in negotiations. He was professional enough to hear out my financial goals and then proceeded to explain his profit margins and what needed to happen for our deal to work. His candor, no bull sh** approach, and transparency with the business model will keep me coming back. If every dealership was willing to show behind the curtain perhaps they'd get better reputations. read more

Before driving 25 miles I called & spoke with Tony (internet director) & explained I was a handicap senior citizen & needed safety features (lane change signal, blind spot, backup camera etc.) He assured me he had what I needed and to make an appointment & I went. He was busy so a trainee, Troy, started helping my challenged son and me. I explained several times that I needed the safety features or my daughter & granddaughters would not let me drive. Troy was new so he was nice & let Tony take over. After at least 3 hours Troy was going to go "out back" & bring the 2018 cars up so we could see. I sat in the silver Escape and we all went back inside and Troy never got the white one because Tony said the silver one was what we needed. Never drove the car until the next day because Troy drove it home for us & then I realized it did not have my needed safety features. That was a month ago I called them at least 10 times and sent numerous messages to them & an assistant to the General Mamager. I gave them the stock number of the car I wanted & Natasha said I couldn't afford it because it was 3K over the other one. I said ok I want to return the one they delivered to me & buy the white SUV. They said NO No No can't do that. So here I sit with a pretty car with no safety features & numerous other complaints (wrong engine, seat adjuster is too difficult (no strength) etc. etc. etc.. What can a cute little old lady do.?????? Oh one more thing, the General Manager was always too busy to talk to me.
