One of those stops to check out car inventory for a friend interested in a Toyota. They wanted a used car and the stock appeared to be decent. We believe Toyotas are an excellent brand name. We have one with 150k miles on it. Still runs like a champ. There is their own parking lot.

Kahlil Leclair and Melanie Kranz really went out of their way to track down the Tundra 1794 i was looking for and it was well worth the wait. It says a lot about their repeat customers being so important to a large dealer. That type of effort is rare these days.

Scratches that appeared in the custody of the service department

I have serviced my truck at Camelback Toyota since I bought it, and until this visit the service was fine. This time my vehicle went in for routine service and came back with two problems: the alignment was wrong and had to be redone, and there was a deep gouge in the rear driver-side door that was not there when I dropped it off. The dealership's own intake photos show no damage at drop-off. When I raised it, the fixed operations director denied responsibility. I was first shown a blurred image, and when I asked to see the dealership's actual inspection video, I could see a mark in the exact spot the scratch is. It was dismissed as a reflection. There was no apology until I asked for one, and when I mentioned insurance the conversation turned to protecting the dealership. My advice to anyone using this service department: photograph your vehicle thoroughly, all sides, before you hand over the keys.

This weekend or else for this "deal" from manager Will.

Communication. What a nightmare! They don't listen to you just read the next line in their high pressured sales game. Get you in and that's the aim. Buy this weekend or deal gone. Will, I don't appreciate your approach and 'techniques'. Not surprised that there are salespeople jobs available. There is absolutely NO WAY I'd willingly subject myself to this.

1-Star Review - Worst Car Buying Experience I've Ever Had I bought a used Lexus LC500h from Camelback Toyota sight unseen, and I truly regret trusting this dealership. Jaden (sales), James (sales manager), and Chris (the person who buys the used cars) were the people I worked with. What I was told versus what I received were two very different things. From the beginning, I asked Jaden to send videos of the car and point out any flaws. He showed a few minor blemishes, but nothing major. I was on the fence about the car and made an offer that they declined. A couple of days later, Chris called to try to make the deal. He strongly assured me that the car was in "great condition," that he personally inspected all used cars, and that this one was "really nice." Based on his word, I proceeded with the purchase and put down almost half as a deposit. Before shipping, I asked Jaden to confirm whether the car had Apple CarPlay (some 2018 models do not). He said he would plug in a cable to check. A couple of days later, he told me it did have CarPlay. I also asked if they could wrap the exterior for protection during transport. They said yes. When the shipping company arrived, the car wasn't wrapped at all. When the car arrived, I was extremely disappointed. It had far more flaws than I was told: * Numerous scratches all over the paint * Exterior window trim literally falling out * Center console that would not open * No CarPlay -- meaning Jaden either never checked or flat-out lied * Rear seat lever broken I'm grateful the finance manager, Jean, recommended the extended warranty because I tried to get these issues repaired. But the warranty company denied the claim, stating these were preexisting conditions -- meaning the dealership already knew about them but did not disclose them, even though I specifically asked multiple times if anything was wrong. I called Chris for almost two weeks with no response. I finally reached out to Jean, who contacted the GM, Brandon, and Brandon said he'd make sure Chris called me back. Chris finally reached out, and I explained the issues. The repair quote I received was almost $2,000. The service manager at the repair center said Camelback Toyota could fix these under goodwill since they were preexisting. Chris refused and simply told me I bought the car "as-is," ignoring the fact that they weren't honest with me from the start. His only solution was offering a $300 gift card, which I accepted because it was the best they were willing to do. For transparency: James (sales manager) and Jean (finance) were the only people who treated me well and did not lie to me. Everyone else made this the worst car-buying experience I've had -- and I've bought many vehicles over the years. I also see why they have so many poor reviews. I know the owner usually replies telling people to contact their client manager, Katrina Coscarelli, but I've left her voicemails and emails with zero response. If you're considering buying a used car from Camelback Toyota, please do your due diligence. Ask for everything in writing. Do not rely on their verbal assurances. They will tell you anything to sell a car, and once the sale is done, you're on your own.

This is the review I left on google, however no one has reached out to me to apologize for their employees disgusting behavior. They only reply to the "good" reviews, clearly the reviews speak for themselves I would never step foot in this establishment. I looked up this dealership on TikTok because I wanted to see videos of the inventory and showroom, but instead I came across a live stream from an employee at this location that was completely unprofessional and had nothing to do with selling cars. The behavior on the live immediately made me question the type of environment and professionalism at this dealership. I called the dealership to report my concerns, and the person I initially spoke with was understanding. However, shortly after, I received a text message to my personal phone number from the employee involved, accusing me of harassment and telling me not to contact them again. I never contacted her personally, and I have screenshots/videos of the live that explain exactly why I called. What concerns me most is that my personal phone number appears to have been taken from dealership records or the work phone system and used to contact me directly. She even used my name in a way that felt like an attempt to intimidate me, even though I was never hiding who I was or "trolling" anyone. Reporting inappropriate behavior from a business is not harassment, and using customer information to personally confront someone is completely unacceptable and highly inappropriate. At this point, I believe someone from management needs to seriously address this situation and contact me directly. An employee using customer information this way and behaving like this publicly while representing your business is unacceptable. Based on this experience, I truly believe this employee should no longer be representing your dealership. Overall, this experience completely changed my opinion of the dealership, and I would not feel comfortable doing business here.

Most car salesmen, if not all, are always conning you into paying more and even remove the discounts that they promised in their ads. Am looking to buy a new prius for my wife. Is there an honest Toyota salesman that you know?

My experience this past weekend with Showcase Honda was easily the worst experience I have ever had…read morewith a car dealership (already such a low bar), and probably the worst I have ever had with any sales organization of any kind. I'm willing to bet that I speak for most Americans when I say I HATE shopping for a car. I would rather eat gas station sushi. I would rather walk across a football field of legos barefoot. BUT, I had to buy a car for my family this weekend. I already knew basically what kind of car I wanted, what features I needed, what my budget was. I looked around online and found a car I was really happy with at Showcase Honda. I didn't want to spend half a day in the dealership. My Grandson is only a week old and I wanted to go over to their house and spend the day with them. But I need the car taken care of this weekend so our family can function heading into the week. So I call the dealership, let them know I just want to buy it, I'll to it online, send over the contract, I'll wire the money, I don't want to haggle on the price, I don't want to come see it, I don't want to take it for a test drive, but I do want to buy it asap and I am super serious. I'll pay extra for it to be delivered to my house, I don't want to spend any additional time on this project than I have already spent. I'm literally holding the money in my hands. I'm texting with someone from the online sales team and I schedule a call for 10 AM the next morning, as it was getting later in the day on Friday night. Saturday morning i'm waiting by my phone at 9:45 to wrap this deal up and no one calls. Thats okay, they just opened, I'm sure they need to get a coffee....10:15 and still no one, 10:30 and still no one. So finally I call them and get on the phone with one of the sales managers. I'm sorry, I didn't take down his name, I wish I did. I think it was Steve. It doesn't matter. He tells me he would love to help me finalize the deal on that specific car, he will draw up the paperwork and they will put it through the car wash and have it ready for us as soon as we get there! I quickly explained (Again, and feeling strange because surely a large successful dealership like this uses a CRM with notes about their leads?!) I re explained to him that I don't want to come in, I want to do it all online, I'll pay full price, I don't want to haggle, send the paperwork and the wire instructions and I'm ready to close right now. He said okay, he would get the paperwork ready and get back to me soon. An hour later I hadn't heard anything, but a different sales person texts me, asks for my ID and the correct spelling of our names, which again, I thought was strange as we had done the online loan application to see if we could get a better deal financing the car vs paying cash. So they had all of our information already, but I gave it to him again. He said he was working on the contract but it never came. About an hour later I text again and say I'm excited to wrap this deal up, whats the issue, what do they need from me next? No response. 30 minutes after that I called and he said "Oh yeah, the sales manager is going to call you right now, he is just finishing up another call and he is going to call you to finish this up." An hour later, still no call. I try calling and texting again. Nothing. Finally, around 4 PM, after I have wasted my entire day, I get a different sales manager who calls me. After I have spent my entire day away from my Grandson trying to beg this dealership to take my money. This sales manager let me know that they actually sold the car last night and its not available. I asked him why have I been getting the run around all day, and he tells me that it isn't his fault because he was not the sales manager on duty at that time. I'm sure they are going to counter with this, so I'm just going to come out and say it. Yes, I raised my voice at this point. I was angry that this dealership seemingly intentionally had wasted the most previous asset I have. The one single thing I was desperate to protect: Time. And they stole it from me and I lost my temper. I don't care whose fault it is. What I care about is that I wasted 6 hours of my day when they could have chosen honestly and transparency, and it is the perfect picture of what I (and I think other Americans) HATE the most about buying a car.

Extremely Disappointed…read more I brought my Subaru to the dealership because it was experiencing a transmission issue. Instead of focusing on the actual problem, I was presented with an estimate totaling over $16,000 in repairs. Some of the items they claimed needed to be repaired simply did not make sense. For example, they said my radiator needed to be replaced. If my radiator had actually been failing the way they claimed, my vehicle would have been overheating--which it wasn't. I knew several of the recommended repairs were unnecessary. Because the estimate seemed so excessive, I sought a second opinion from AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care on Van Buren in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. They inspected the vehicle, confirmed the actual issue was the transmission, and told me that many of the repairs recommended by the dealership were not needed. AAMCO repaired my Subaru Crosstrek for roughly one-third of what Subaru wanted to charge, and two months later the transmission is running better than ever. In my opinion, the dealership lost my business because they attempted to sell me thousands of dollars' worth of repairs that my vehicle did not need. A trustworthy service department should diagnose the actual problem and recommend only the repairs that are necessary--not overwhelm customers with an inflated estimate. If you need transmission work or want a second opinion, I strongly encourage you to contact AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care on Van Buren in downtown Phoenix, Arizona.

I signed for this. A week later the loan appears in my bank account and it's $2,000 more than I had signed for. I went in person and spoke to a different employee from the Volkswagen side of the dealership who was very kind, I forget his name. But he gave me a printout of my paperwork, something Matt never did and said it would be emailed to me but never happened, and showed me that the warranty was actually a "flat rate" $2,000 fee and NOT the $20/mo I signed for and was promised. This second finance employee was helpful and we cancelled my warranty, but be aware for anyone who is offered this warranty. I was lied to and there is a high likelihood you and many other customers have been lied to as well. Shady practices from their finance department.

Unfortunately, that was my experience with Camelback Hyundai: I brought my 2023 Hyundai Elantra Limited Hybrid to Camelback Hyundai in June 2026 to replace the catalytic converter. From the beginning, I was given the runaround about my vehicle and the loaner. I was told the loaner could not be taken out of state, and I explained that this was a problem because I had a family emergency that required me to travel out of state with my vehicle. I was then told they would put a rush on my repair so I could get my car back in time. They gave me a specific date and time when my vehicle would be ready, but they did not meet the deadline they gave me. When I finally picked up my car, I discovered bird droppings that had damaged the paint on the hood and trunk, along with new dents on my vehicle. None of this damage was there when I dropped it off. I immediately returned to the dealership, and after reviewing their own photos, they acknowledged the damage was not there when I brought it in. Ishmeal knew I had a family emergency and didn't know exactly when I would be back. He specifically told me not to worry and that he would take care of the damage when I returned. When I eventually followed up, he said he would "have to look into it." The damage was never addressed. Now, I'm dealing with additional issues following their repair. My A/C isn't cooling properly, and there is a strong rotten-egg/exhaust smell coming into the cabin. When I called Ishmeal, he told me neither issue would be covered because "the catalytic converter is on the bottom." He also said the rotten-egg smell was from my battery expanding. My service receipt clearly shows that Camelback Hyundai replaced Part #28510-03HN0 -- the exhaust manifold catalytic assembly. On the 1.6L Elantra Hybrid, this integrated assembly is located in the engine bay and bolted to the engine, meaning the repair involved work in the same area as other engine-bay components, including the A/C system. The fact that these symptoms appeared after the repair warrants inspection of the exhaust gasket and A/C components that may have been accessed during the repair. The 2023 Elantra Hybrid also uses a high-voltage lithium battery system with a 12V lithium auxiliary battery integrated into the hybrid battery assembly under the rear seat. If the dealership's explanation is that a battery is expanding, overheating, or venting sulfur-smelling fumes into the cabin, that warrants immediate inspection as well. If a covered hybrid battery component is found to be defective, it should fall under Hyundai's applicable 10-Year/100,000-Mile Hybrid System Warranty. If the A/C or exhaust issue is determined to be related to the catalytic converter repair or workmanship, it should be addressed under Hyundai's 12-Month/12,000-Mile Service Parts and Labor Warranty. What is most frustrating is that this is not an isolated issue. The dealership acknowledged damage occurred while my vehicle was in its possession, Ishmeal promised to address it, and it was never resolved. Now I have new mechanical concerns following the repair and am being told they are unrelated without a proper inspection. I brought my car to a Hyundai dealership expecting professional service and accountability. Instead, I've experienced delays, conflicting information, and no resolution. I will not be returning to Camelback Hyundai's service department.
