I told the salesman multiple times that I wasn't interested in anything else, but he kept pressuring me to find something else and getting frustrated when I didn't like something. He kept continually trying to get me into something that was completely out of my budget. I finally walked out. I went across the street, asked them to show me two cars that were within my budget. I was test driving the car I bought within 15 min and I LOVED it. The salesperson wasn't pushy. The entire staff worked to genuinely make the finance worked. Updated-02/23/205 - The had my truck for 48 hours and the issue has not been resolved but the shop tech was nice enough to tell me they are not going to do any additional work to resolve the issue. I emailed kcoscarelli@camelbacktoyota.com. 5 days ago but there is no response. I was really hoping for a good experience, but I'm beyond disappointed. Levi was nice, and Chris assured me that the used Tundra I bought was in good shape, with only a few minor issues they promised to fix. Yet here I am, over two weeks later, having wasted 16 hours dropping off the truck, and the problem is still unresolved. To make things even worse, now the brakes are squealing when I stop. Instead of taking responsibility, everyone just keeps passing me off to someone else. They make you feel valued and taken care of--until they get your money. After that, you're on your own. Over two weeks and $40,000 later, I'm still waiting just to hear about scheduling to have the issue diagnosed. At this point, I cannot in good faith recommend anyone purchase a used vehicle here. Terrible from the very beginning! I made several trips to the dealership Camelback Toyota in one week! Got passed back and forth to several different sales guys. Was shown a vehicle in the showroom and brought a different model completely! I never got my second key my sales guys said he would contact me as soon as it came in he didn't know why it didn't have two keys. My vehicle had no floor mats and was not detailed when I pointed it out to my sales guy he said my floor mats were in the trunk . I told him to check and make sure . He looked and they weren't in there I showed him how dirty the inside of my vehicle was back seat had water stains and pointed out the oil fingerprints all over the grey interior on my door he said to bring it back and he would "make sure it was cleaned properly" . I came back some days later for the second detail and left with my vehicle in the same condition I told the serviceman and he said that was the best they could do! My keys were stolen and I contacted them to see about my second key (btw it's almost been a year and they still haven't given me my 2nd key ) They were SO RUDE and disrespectful especially the sale manager "Brandon" and other management "Brian" absolutely disgusting and useless they're customer service is the WORST !! I will not be doing business with them ever again nor will I refer them to anyone else!!! "Brandon" said "let's just be honest the only reason you want this key now is because you lost your key" Straight BS I wouldn't even be contacting them if I had been given my 2nd key how I was supposed to be given in the first place. I've had an unfortunate incident with the service department yesterday, March 31, 2026, that I'd like to warn you about. I took my vehicle in for its routine Zektec application. Today I noticed that all my change, that was on a little shelf in my vehicle, was gone! I am the only driver of my vehicle and it was in the closed garage or locked ever since that appointment. Unfortunately my experience with Camelback Toyota was bad Let me first say that dealing with my initially sales man Anthony was a pleasure. He was quite responsive and extremely helpful. I ran into a problem with his supervisor in negotiating the purchase of a rav4 xle. The car was in route to the dealership I was told I could not hold it with a deposit, but I and the sales manager agreed I could buy the car for 30 k plus my trade. They would call me when the car was in route so I could complete the transaction. They called when the car arrived but didn't honor the verbal agreement even though I came into the dealership immediately after I was call called. After finally purchasing the vehicle for 1100 more than agreed, I complained to the supervisors manager . After arguing vehemently that the bait and switch was unethical the sales manager (Luis) attempted to make things right by offering me an after sales amt of 500 dollars along with weather Tex mats thrown in by the initial supervisor ( the person that did not honor our verbal agreement. Although they tried to make it right I felt strongly they should have simply honored their initial verbal commitment. My service advisor tried to sell me additives for oil and fuel on a brand new truck. I told him no. Then I called 2 other Toyota service center and was told no I didn't need anything like that on a brand new truck. He wanted me to pay 80.00 for something I didnt need. Not impressed and will not go back. Also left message for service manager to call me i have not received a call back. All I can say is WOW!! With hundreds of transactions at various big and small businesses, this is by far the worst and most unethical experience I have ever experienced. I have never been treated so poorly by another individual in my entire life until I met Shane. He promised the world but what he delivered in reality was lies, deception, and immorality on an epic level. We will never step foot in this dealership again as a result of our 3 week debacle with him. We called to speak with the general manager several times and were told "they are unavailable," "I don't have the ability to transfer you to their phone or for you to be able to leave a message," and when we finally drove an hour down there we were told, "it isn't possible for you to speak with them, they are busy." You can buy the newest model car and they will constantly harass and call you about buying a new vehicle or trading it in for their commission. It is legitimately insane. I would understand if they were at least respectful but i have told them to stop calling me a dozen times and blocked multiple numbers and they don't stop. It's disgusting. Don't even listen to them when they talk about refinancing and want you to come in to discuss it is legitimately all about harassing you to buy a car. My service was completed and had to chase my keys down to pay. Was informed there was a 3 percent credit card processing fee. It made us both extremely uncomfortable and showed a serious lack of professionalism and cultural awareness. When I was looking for a new car in September, I reached out to several dealerships in search for a 2025 Toyota Corolla SE. Based on research I've done online, discussing OTD prices with a dealership via email is possible. I wanted to discuss pricing over email as I do not like going into the dealership. I sent an inquiry and received a response asking when I am available to come in. I replied just asking for the OTD price. I eventually received a picture of one, but it was for someone else's car. I asked about this and the employee told me it's the same one car that I was interested in. I looked up the VIN and it was for a LE trim, not SE. I mentioned that the trim was incorrect, but was told that the price would be honored - it didn't make sense, but who am I to argue that with someone who worked at the dealership. Hearing that, I wanted to continue with this dealership (since my parents also have bought cars from here and it was closer to me). I was sent a video of the employee with the car, but I noticed the car looked a bit different, so I asked for another video/pictures. I never got a response to it. At the same time, I was communicating with another dealership that was 40 minutes away who did give me an OTD price via email. I wanted to go with Camelback because it was closer, but I wasn't getting the information I needed. I mentioned that if I received the OTD price and pictures of the car, I would move forward with Camelback. The employee told me he'd work on it. I was getting call after call from Camelback but none actually gave me answers to my questions. I then learned that they didn't have the car on the lot, but I could come in to check out what they have right now. Felt like my time was wasted and we were going in circles. I ended up purchasing my car from the other dealership who was responsive, honest, and didn't spam my phone. He called the dealership and was directed to Anthony who explained that some of the vehicles were in transit, but told my husband which cars on his list were available. It's not the best but if I got approved for $30,000 loan, why is it that this man put me in a Toyota Corolla? The smallest car is on the market a 2026 Toyota Corolla LE told me it had all these features told me that it was fully loaded. It only has CarPlay. It has nothing else. The car is not auto automatic start. It is not have push start. It doesn't have a sunroof. It doesn't have anything very boring very plain. Now, however, I feel like he manipulated and lied and we asked him if he could keep us in the payments between 400 and 500 well however he was so desperate and making his cell in this commission he literally told us. Yes he can keep us around that he takes my $3000 down payment and he turned around and the next day we had to come back in then he states that once we sit down with Julian the finance manager, which is they're all together they're all in cahoots. They added on warranties that I didn't even know I wasn't aware of. They had me sign on my phone. I was rushed into signing. I was rushed into the process I didn't even have time to read over everything or he didn't explain everything. The bank had to tell me that they added on $4000 worth of warranties. I didn't even know that I never got the paperwork in person. He told me he will mail it to me. I never got it. He emailed it. I couldn't access it because it was encrypted. You know I'm just now able able to access my documents as of yesterday and I've had a car for three weeks now and they're still not willing to help me in any kind of way so now I'm getting legal action involved, but this is the experience that I had and it's a horrible experience is terrible. It's a super nice dealership. Clean, quiet. So stars for that. However. I ran a credit app ahead of my appointment, told the salesperson exactly what I needed numbers-wise, and advised of my current loan amount and what I needed for trade to pay it off. He "promised" that he would be able to negotiate the trade to meet my needs so I made the 45 minute drive to the dealership only for him to not have ANY numbers ready for me to look over. Once we test drove, he told me he had another customer at the same time but I "wouldn't notice his absence". After waiting over an hour for him to work with this other customer, he came back to me with preliminary numbers (these should have been finalized numbers with all the info I gave him and the negotiation on the trade should have been done at this point). It was going to be another 30-60 minutes for a yes/no on the trade negotiation and that was frustrating since I'd already been there for 1.5 hours at this point so I left, and received a text from this salesperson saying how he "works his ass off to get these good deals only for me to get mad at home when it takes longer than 30 minutes to process". I know it takes time to actually BUY a car, but he had all day to get this set up and have at least finalized numbers ready for me to review after an hour wait so I could decide IF I was buying or not. Never got a finalized pencil from him. He handed me my keys and walked off. Completely wasted my time, and was rude to me via text. I recently purchased a vehicle from Camelback Toyota and paid in full. Unfortunately, my experience after the sale has been extremely disappointing. First, they refused to give me a copy of my contract at the time of purchase and promised to email it. Despite multiple calls and texts over several weeks, I never received it, and still waiting. Later, they offered a "free detail" and scheduled me for an appointment. When I arrived on time, I was surprised to learn that they planned to keep my car all day and then ended up keeping it overnight without informing me ahead of time. This caused serious disruption to my personal and work responsibilities. Even worse, when I got the car back, the detailing was poorly done--and when I asked about it, the service agent actually said, "We don't have to clean everything." Most concerning of all: I found a scratch and small dent on the car that were not there before. When I raised the issue, the managers insisted it was pre-existing--even though their team said they took pictures at drop-off. I have formally requested those photos and am still waiting for them. I feel completely dismissed and disrespected as a customer. This is not the kind of service or professionalism anyone should expect when buying a car--especially not from a Toyota dealership. Titus Petty promptly answered the call and had me bring the vehicle in to get checked out. When I arrived Titus provided outstanding service and took great care to help me get safely back on the road. It turns out the still under warranty battery caused the problem. The battery was replaced free of charge and I was on my way in no time. I mentioned to Titus that it is people like him who convince me to buy my next Toyota. The absolute most unethical dealership I have ever encountered. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone and would never purchase a vehicle from them again. They sell vehicles with prior damage and then try and gaslight you into believing you caused the damage 3 weeks after you purchased the vehicle. It's an absolute scam.
