Unfortunately this was just so so service. I so badly wanted this to be a love match. I am satisfied with my end product but quite frankly it still isn't right and I'm tired of working on it. I want to be clear and say that everyone that worked on my project was very nice, reachable and kind. This is great There were great suggestions and problem solving for supporting the weight of my shower enclosure and ensuring shower users had enough clearance to get in and out of the shower-This is good I may have just been one of the few that had a bad experience: mistake after mistake after miscommunication after miscommunication after time waste after waiting and waiting and texts and confusion.....too bad. My installer came out....3 times to measure....and there were still mistakes. My suggestion: have clients only speak with employees that work in the showroom. The employees or service providers that install and measure have a whole different way of communication. Everything should be in writing from the stand point of the consumer to the installer. You can imagine my shock and amazement at time of install when the installer was about to put VINYL casing around my beautiful shower after we spoke many times about how clean I wanted it with NO VINYL Also the day of the install I am told "oh we cant install the mirror wall-it doesn't work it keeps breaking" you would think that someone would call ahead of time before the install and before a deposit is made to tell you that something just cant be done. I was floored by that. By telling a consumer what can and cannot be done gives them time to make a change or come up with a different way of handling a space. I wasted 2 weeks waiting for something that could have been redesigned. Things were brought over to my home as loaners for items ordered that were not in yet which is fine but give the consumer a heads up. I also want to say that there were sincere apologies and general concern but overall I cant use these guys again for shower enclosures and decorative wall mirrors. read more

Never again! I used this company once (too often). I called to have a shower door adjusted, due to a slipping "clamp". They came out, fixed it, and sent me a bill for $150 for 15 minutes of work.....my fault for not getting a bid. 9 months later, the same problem occurred, so i called them back, expecting that they had some kind of warranty on their work. No way, was the reaction, along with a lot of whining about the cost of doing business and why should they warrant work when they didn't install the product? They just don't care about customer perception or reasonable expectations of performance on their work.... read more

I put my fairth in Campbell Glass to fix the rear window in my classic car. John started out telling me I had to buy the gasket for it. I did that, and after struggling with it (I now believe that was because he didn't know how it should have been done) he told me he'd gotten the job done. Well, after a while John's work resulted in my window starting to leak, which warped the rear deck and stained the headliner. When I called to ask him to fix this, he insisted I buy another gasket. This is the only business I know of that insists on using parts supplied by the customer - and John expected me to buy a replacement for what he'd ruined. Of course he made no mention of his work causing damage to my rear deck and headliner. read more

Called Campbell glass to make an appointment to measure dual pane glass in my patio door. Very impressed with the installer not only called the 20min prior as asked. But was very punctual. He was very knowledgeable and i was able to get all questions and and concerns answered. I was pleased with the professionalism from the owner and other staff in the office. Even thought it was not scheduled, the installer also measured for a shower enclosure and new mirror while he was there. Patio door glass replacement was installed with in 4-5 business days as promised and the shower and mirror will be installed next week. Campbell Glass was recommended to us from others. That was misguided, I guess now. We requested a quote to replace the glass on the side of our front door. After the service person arrived and I asked for a materials-only and a materials plus labor quote, we received a phone call an hour later asking us to pay $90 for the 4 minute assessment visit. Surprise!!!!! None of the previous calls mentioned this. The glass we chose turned out to be higher materials costs than the original estimate, which I am fine with. $90 for a 4 minute assessment visit!!!! And no mention during the multiple previous phone calls that there would be a charge for the assessment? Oh. Did I mention they cancelled the first visit and rescheduled a second visit. Customer service and honesty does not seem to be important to these people. I will find some other, honest, more straight forward vendor to replace my glass. read more

I was referred to Campbell Glass by a friend. The owner, John Morello, is awesome! I took the pieces of broken glass from an antique coffee table to him. The glass was a very odd shape. I took it there at almost closing time, (4:45, he closes at 5:00), and assembled the broken pieces for him so he could see the odd shape. John said they weren't open on weekends, but he would give me a call when it was done. He called me Monday morning at about 10 a.m. to say I could come and pick it up. I was amazed that he had it done so quickly, but even more amazed when I brought it home and it fit like a glove!! Unbelievable! And, the price was right. I will go back to Campbell Glass with any future glass needs. read more

John, the owner required me to buy all materials up front for my classic car and have them delivered to him before we could schedule an appt. Campbell Glass took my speakers out to do their work and refused to re-install them/leave them like they found them after completing the job and instead left the many pieces on the floor in rear-I had to return to the auto installer to have them re-installed. John bragged about delivering the car to my home when finished and although he'd been there twice previously he got lost and drove around for about 40 minutes before finally finding me. On our way back to his shop the car ran out of gas on a very busy and dangerous expressway. Fortunately I had a 2 gallon gas can in my trunk so we were able to continue on back to Campbell glass and John wanted nothing to do with stopping for gas on the way there---I could do that on my own time. In order to run my gas tank dry it was more than obvious someone had taken my car for a joy ride in addition to John's getting lost finding my home. Soon after the job upon rolling down my rear window the entire new gasket stripped out. It was more than clear from the very beginning that John's main concern was in getting paid as in his requiring me to pay for all materials up front. When I started calling him on the carpet about his mistakes he accused me of drinking; I wasn't and later told me I had a bad reputation in town all of which is a crock he used to offset my legitimate concerns. My credit rating is in the 800's. Whatever you do don't do business with John at Campbell Glass. Not only did he do shoddy work, not put things back the way he found them, lie to me about my conduct because of his problems, take my car for joy ride(s) but he was also very expensive which I reluctantly found out after the fact. I learned a lesson here and hope to prevent others from this awful business, Campbell Glass. read more

I called Campbell Glass when my sliding glass door was shattered. John gave me an instant quote and had his guy, Phil, come out that afternoon to take measurements and confirm the quote (which ended up being a little lower - awesome!). Phil is great. My husband was at work when he came and I felt completely comfortable with him. He worked very quickly and cleaned up after he was done.
