Friendly wait staff. Clean restaurant. Moderate prices. Nice warm chips and tasty salsa served complimentary before the meal. Mixed dish of enchilada, chimichanga and chili relleno were not adequately heated up for service. Refried beans were watered down. I brought most of it home where I could heat everything up to a hot temperature. Ingredients, though, were neat and clean. I might give them one more try since they are conveniently located. If I have the same experience on a second time around, I'll send it back to be properly reheated. read more

What a surprise! We ended up here when there was too long a wait at our original destination. It's in a strip mall, and let's be honest, there is a lot of really mediocre Mexican restaurants in this area, so expectations were low-ish. We just wanted to eat, not have an epic experience. And then, in an unlikely choice (for me), I ordered something on a whim... the Chori-Pollo plate, because their menu said their chorizo is homemade. This was so fantastic, I have craved it every day since I ate it and am about to go back for it. You'll see from the picture, that the chicken is cut in bite-sized chunks and has a really nice seasoning and beautiful charring. It's cooked together with the chorizo, then smothered in white cheese. (I caught flack from the husband for how white my choice was, but it totally works here. I'll eat authentic another day). I asked for beans instead of the Mexican salad that comes with the platter, and you'll want to do the same. The beans are lardy and salty, and when you roll them up with the Chori-Pollo Cheese mixture inside the warm flour tortilla, it is the most perfect bite ever. I'm not a tex mex fan (cali girl, we do baja Mexican!) but I've been looking for good ceviche in Tulsa for many many years. Real ceviche that is cooked with lemon and lime juice, not cocktail sauce calling it ceviche. If you want good seafood ceviche particular, this is the place to go!! This is a small family run joint right in the heart of Jenks USA! What a beautiful family and man do they know how to hussel up some grub! Service is fast as well as friendly! We have been eating here just over two years now. I have yet to try a dish I did not enjoy. Everything from a crispy taco to the cane asada it's all D-E-lish! They have a house margarita that is fairly decent. The frozen isn't exactly frozen but it is it's own texture. It's all good in the neighborhood. Not sure about the negative reviews, I thought the food was delicious. I ordered the spicy salsa with chips and it was excellent. The street tacos tasted like they had been marinated for hours with authentic spices and they came with their own salsa that tasted fire-roasted. It complimented the marinated chicken perfectly. We ordered a lot, so below is the breakdown of what I tried... Margaritas: decent and strong for only about $4, so they're worth it! Beef queso: seasoned ground beef mixed into their white queso. It's good, I'd like to try it plain sometime to compare. Guacamole: guac is always good anywhere, so while this didn't necessarily wow me, it didn't disappoint. Combo: chicken enchilada, Chile rellano, shredded beef quesadilla with beans and rice: I'd order the Chile rellano and the quesadilla again, the shredded beef was so delicious and tender with amazing flavor. The enchilada was ok, I feel like a cheese enchilada would be better. I'd come here again and order almost the same thing but switch that to something else. Churros: This dessert is worth the trip alone! They're custard-filled and warm, served with ice cream and topped with whipped cream. Great spot in Jenks. We had the meat & queso, fajita nachos, tacos, enchiladas, and taco soup. All were solid in flavor. I definitely judge a Mexican restaurant by the chips & salsa and this place has some of the beat. The rest of the food was decent but not fabulous. From hostess to server all were very friendly and attentive. Food was average at best, I had the chicken enchiladas topped with "spinach dip". The spinach dip was just a bland cream sauce with wilted spinach layeed across. I was so disappointed as I was looking forward to true spinach dip. No flavor, HARDLY ANY if any cheese and when you try to eat, it just goes flat and it's just a tortilla with some meat. Super fast service. Really don't see how it's rated so high! Service IS that good but most of food is bland and lacks a spicy Mexican flavor. Shredded beef tacos and enchiladas lack any flavor, while the beans were delicious. Rice was gummy. Grind beef taco was okay. Chili Relleno would have 3 Stars if I had gone with another sauce . I had the red tomato paste which I could scrap it off without tasting the tomato paste. The Guacamole was very good. Salsa needed a kick so I asked for one bowl that was a bit hotter. It was fine. Nice place and a welcome to Jenks. Good for a change but it's pricy for what you get. read more

First time there and at first service seemed good. Placed order food came super fast but that was it for service didnt see waiter again. We sat there for probably 15min after we were done eating with our waiter walking past us many times but never acknowledging us waiting for a check we had to haller at him and ask for our check. They have all of the regular tex-mex dishes, with awesome versions that any person for the latin flavor would love. My wife is a vegetarian, and they have dishes that she loves.
