It has been FOURTEEN BUSINESS DAYS and we still have yet to receive our REFUNDABLE $500 deposit back. Called corporate yesterday and was told I had to contact the location directly. I called and was told I had to speak with a manager who was currently unavailable. I left my number and was told I would receive a callback that day. Of course I didn't. Called back today (3:30pm, after not hearing from anyone.....surprise surprise) and was told the same thing.....someone will call you back. Nope. I'll wait on hold to speak with someone. Currently been on hold for 45+ minutes. Please PLEASE go ANYWHERE else to buy an RV. I trust Craigslist more than I trust this "company". Absolutely disgusting way to run a business. We placed a 500$ holding fee on a camper on Friday 5/1 so that it would not be sold before we made the 2 hour drive to view it. Over the weekend we reviewed the numbers and decided on not moving forward with the camper (long story short as there was several shady processes with camping world that made us choose to not do business with them) we attempted to cancel the payment on 5/4 and were told we had to call back 5/5 when the sales rep we worked with was there. 5/5 we called to withdraw our interest and request the refundable 500$ we placed on the camper to which the sales man was RUDE and essentially told us we'd get the refund in a few days and we could figure the rest out ourselves and hung up on us. NOW I have reached out numerous times via phone and email for the refund to which they have stated "they didn't run my card it's just a pre auth" and that "they don't see the transaction to issue the refund" all of which is not true because I have the charge posted for over a week reference number of the charge etc and they have STILL not issued the refund. Now I've disputed the charge but still have to wait because this company is not doing ethical business processes. read more

When I arrived to the scheduled appointment I was told something was broke on it and told me it would take a while to get it repaired. Nobody apologized for the issue. Went in today, there was four of the staff there. One on her phone, and two in the parts area having a personal conversation. Nobody greeted me or asked how they could help me. I was the only customer. Went the parts area and after standing there I had to interrupt their person conversation to ask a question. They didn't appear to be too happy that a customer came in. I said I would be back the next day and they told me other places I could go instead of returning there. I worked in upper management for many years and seems there must be some training needed on sales and customer service. read more

During the sales process, the salesman pushed the "Go Camping" package, originally quoted at $2,000. Having shopped at other Camping Worlds, I knew there was wiggle room and negotiated it down to $500. At no point was I told that by negotiating the price, I would be losing key items from the package. I was assured this would help us be ready to camp right off the lot. On the day of pickup, I called ahead and confirmed my 4:00 p.m. arrival. When I arrived, the service was terrible. Staff acted as if they didn't want to do a walkthrough -- which is especially concerning since we are first-time RV buyers with no prior experience. Only after pushing did we get a quick, rushed walkthrough from a technician. When I asked about the "Go Camping" package, Sales Manager Jim (who had an extremely dry, non-concerning personality and offered terrible customer service) dismissed my concerns, handed me a few random items, and told me I wasn't entitled to the rest because I'd negotiated the price. This meant I was denied important essentials like a second battery -- something crucial for safe and comfortable camping. The items I did receive weren't even close in value to $500, and Jim acted like he was doing me a favor. I later followed up with my salesman asking again about the missing second battery, and I received no response at all. The way this dealership treats you after the sale is a complete 180 from the promises made before. The lack of transparency, misleading package terms, and the disrespectful treatment at pickup left us with regret and frustration instead of excitement about our first travel trailer. Beware!! These people really give the industry a bad name by agreeing on a sales price on an RV only to see them add 2,000 extra for having a mechanic "inspect" the vehicle! It just arrived from the factory!!!! Then they charge another 700 or 800 for a "document fee". If you are looking to do some RVing, you will have a blast, but beware of certain Dealerships. FYI, I was at a dealership in Vegas (not Camping World) and the mechanic told me that EVERY dealership inspects RVs when they arrive from a manufacturer...it takes one guy about 2 hours. He said it really angers him that Camping World does this to people. But we both agree that thanks to Yelp, people can warn others and share their experiences. read more

This place seems to handle repairs for a multitude of RV owners so obviously there will be some who have been satisfied with them. I have not looked at other reviews so do not know what their reputation is. I purchased a motorhome from a friend of mine. He purchased it new and had all work performed at Camping World for twelve years. One week prior to me buying it, he had it gone through by them to ensure there were no issues to take care of before I got it. Several days later after parking it at home, the main slide would not open. I called and brought it in the same day, Feb. 2, 2025. A couple of days later I was informed that the slide topper was not unrolling and the entire unit needed to be replaced. This is not a part covered under my warranty, which I was aware of. The cost was estimated at $1900 and change. I asked how long it would take and was told he would get back to me. A week later I called to ask about it. He said the part is not in stock and actually has to be made so it would take about 10-15 days to ship. He said I could take the RV home and bring it back if I wanted to but it didn't make sense at the time. Can't open the slide, can't use it. So I waited 15 days and (having not been updated) called to ask about it. He said to let him look into it and he would call me back, which he did. He informed me the part had come in damaged and was sent back and re-ordered. So another 10-15 business days to get it. It finally came in and was repaired. I was called to come pick up the unit on April 24th! Almost three months sitting there. I went to pick it up and made sure to operate the slides before leaving. Wouldn't you know, the other slide was inoperable. So, I had to leave it there with them again. Also note: during the time the unit was on their lot, it was hit about a dozen times with paintballs from the paintball course next door. This is apparently a common occurrence based on his demeanor when I mentioned it. They cleaned it off. So now we received the same rotten communication, same excuses as the why it's taking so long (all Winnebago's fault apparently). This new issue was the slide lock mechanism. I finally got it back nearly six full months after dropping it off. It was not cleaned prior to picking it up. If we wanted it washed, we would have to wait a couple of weeks. The slide topper still had the old topper material. We were under the impression that the entire mechanism would include new fabric as well but it did not. Had I known this, I would have instructed them to replace it while doing the repair instead of keeping the 12 year old material on it. While the unit was there, we received many mailings from Camping World showcasing their discounts for repairs and purchases. We did not get a discount (up to 30% per their ads) for the non-warranty work we had done. In total we spent nearly $2500 and waited six months, paying for insurance and extended warranty coverages without use of the RV. I inderstand things happen that are out of someone's control however, the lack of communication and no apparent attempt to expedite these repairs is too much for me. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. That being said, choices are apparently limited but I will shop around. If you choose them for your needs, I hope your experience is not like mine was. read more

This place does not care about their customers. I highly suggest you stay away and save yourself from the constant nightmare that is called Camping World. The service department at this location and, as reviews show, at locations across the country, is subpar. Quality of work is mediocre and lack-there of care for customers property very clear. I had a warranty replacement of my refrigerator in my 5th wheel. I dropped my trailer off last Saturday letting them know due to my schedule i could not come back till the following Saturday (today). They called me on Wednesday confirming the work was done, noting that I will still be back to pick up on Saturday around noon. I ended up coming in early to get it, Ed gave me the service documents without walking me through the unit to ensure the work was completed and operating. He asked if I saw my trailer, I said yes, and he told me I could go grab it. When I dropped off my trailer I had two brand new batteries that I just had installed within the last month. The batters have never even ran on their own without being hooked up to power yet until I dropped my unit at camping world. When I tried to operate my jacks to set my trailer on my truck they were completely dead. This is very common and no matter how many times you tell the service department about the issue the fail time and time again to correct it on the next visit. Ed told me it's not a big deal it'll charge when I hook it up to my truck and drive. Well Ed, how am I supposed to set the trailer on my truck if I cannot operate the jacks? Using generator power? The same generator that uses the battery you let die to be able to turn over? Not only is there a lack there of customer care but clearly they also they do not care about the damaged caused to the batteries health but allowing it to drain all the way. Don't worry! Parts will sell you a new set so they can start the cycle over again! read more

Terrible service from the service dept. They had my rig for 30 days and didn't fix anything. They called to say it was ready and charged me and didn't fix anything. I gave them 5 stars before when Brad M was in the service dept but now that he's gone this place has really gone downhill. I'd find somewhere else to go but if you do check to make things are fixed before you leave. Terrible service!!! read more

Had to purchase a new toliet while traveling. They had many toliets on the shelf with no info or pricing. When asking the young guy sitting behind the counter about them. He wouldn't get up off his chair to help. When asking about prices, he was giving me around pricing. In the store I had to look up info and pricing on my phone. I felt like I was at a Home Depot. This is why I buy things online from other RV suppliers. I was in a jam and needed a toilet to finish my vacation. Wish they would have had a color to atleast match the old. read more

Total repair scam! Do not use them for repair service!! They kept our RV for months and did not fix the main issue we had with our roof leaking. They also told us we needed a new carburetor for our generator and gave us a quote for 3k. Instead we found a great mobile RV guy who fixed it within 15 mins for a reasonable price. read more

Our Motorhome was on their property for months "waiting on parts". Very little communication regarding when it was going to get fixed. We had to call them repeatedly to get updates. We had to cancel a trip. When we did get our unit back. Our tow bar was missing. At no time did we express anger or show aggression we simply inquired what happens now this is missing. We received an email from the manager of the service department that was somewhat aggressive. He stated that it is clear in the service contract that they are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Okay noted but then he continued to go on about their security and cameras again just really expressed aggression towards us for daring to question where our tow bar went? It was there months ago when dropped off. Now it's gone. And camping world not only doesn't care they let you know that you as a customer is not wanted or needed. read more

So we helped ourselves by looking around after 30 min still no one to check on us . We walked into the building where a lady was sitting at the front and no welcome or how can I help you still . I am so upset, Nothing good to say about Camping World, Keystone, or anyone connected with our $$$ purchase. so I will wait until repairs are made on our "New" Fifth wheel and add ons (batteries, AC, etc), completed and delivered. We Purchased a Keystone Fifth wheel Cougar 2024 during their sale, in February and they pressured us to sign the contract before the end of the month informing us that we would receive a brand new fifth wheel. We also purchased a secondary warranty. The fifth wheel is still at the dealership. We are senior citizens and thought we could trust them, "Goodwill". So far, I am not impressed and would not recommend purchasing from them. Hopefully, we will receive our Fifth wheel soon. read more

He was very knowledgeable and very personable throughout the entire process of getting a new propane tank installed. I am a fulltimer, and Josh made sure the job was completed in one day, I'm not sure which maintenance techs did the work, but I've had dealings with this location many times in the past and have had great results. I went to look at some wheel covers and was very impressed at the professionalism of the employees there I would recommend working with them. They are a huge reputable company with the most resources and positive elite customer service. I've tried them paw places, and they don't know their asses from their elbows, anyhow hope this helps and I hope you get a good unit that works for you and your family. Mine is still going great they only deal with quality materials compared to some of my friends who bought from the cheaper places and they aren't even on wheels anymore. This company had my trailer for 5 weeks, causing me to stay in a motel during that entire time. Upon returning the trailer, the same water leak problem persisted. They sent a 22 year old tech who fixed the problem in 30 minutes. They had charged me $1670 to fix the problem. They are now unwilling to send a tech to do some minor fixes that weren't addressed on the initial intake. This company has a monopoly on warranty repairs and takes advantage of customers and warranty companies! GO anywhere else to have repairs done!! Tyler and Ed in servicing couldn't care less about providing halfway decent customer service, I was not asking for my money to be returned. It's been almost two months since we've heard back from the service department. My husband called Matt and left a voicemail, of course, no call back. We're highly irritated. There we met Service Advisor Hector Davila. Hector has been a great service advisor to us. He kept an open communication line with us and resolved our issues. We also had our North Trail travel trailer serviced by Hector's technicians. I must admit, I am impressed with the level of customer service we had from this establishment.
