After our travel trailer being in service for TWO MONTHS, we came to pick it up. It is eextremely dirty inside and outside. We dropped off a very clean trailer. Trying to reach the service manager Mike is also ridiculous. I was forced to call corporate so they can handle this. Being told our trailer would be outside and ready when we got here DID NOT HAPPEN. This is a continuation of another post. Again do not use Camping World for service they will damage your rig. In this case I had an electrical problem with the DC current in my camper. I took it to Camping World since it was under warranty. They fixed the DC problem but when I picked it up my trailer brakes would not work. They stated it must be my truck. I paid Nissan to go through the factory installed towing equipment and they stated everything was fine. The second trip in for my brake problem they found a short (after I paid Nissan). This worked for only a few miles before I lost brakes again. When I took it in the last time they said they couldn't find the problem. After finding that they destroyed the lift system and fixing that myself. I decided to look into the brake issue that they couldn't fix. It took me about 20 minutes to find and fix the wiring issue. Again incompetent or lazy mechanics that destroyed my lift system. read more

We had a great experience with Gilbert, the sales associate. However, when we bought the camper there were things they promised to fix per our agreement. It's been almost two months since we've heard back from the service department. My husband called Matt and left a voicemail, of course, no call back. We're highly irritated. All we want is the stuff they promised so we can actually use the camper. The service department claimed it was the manufacturer's fault but I call BS. This company had my trailer for 5 weeks, causing me to stay in a motel during that entire time. Upon returning the trailer, the same water leak problem persisted. They sent a 22 year old tech who fixed the problem in 30 minutes. They had charged me $1670 to fix the problem. They are now unwilling to send a tech to do some minor fixes that weren't addressed on the initial intake. This company has a monopoly on warranty repairs and takes advantage of customers and warranty companies! GO anywhere else to have repairs done!! We purchased a brand new Tiburon (Thor) from a dealer in Texas. We had variety of warranty issues with the unit. We brought it to Camping World in Las Vegas NV. There we met Service Advisor Hector Davila. Hector has been a great service advisor to us. He kept an open communication line with us and resolved our issues. We also had our North Trail travel trailer serviced by Hector's technicians. I must admit, I am impressed with the level of customer service we had from this establishment. I'm not sure why the Camping World in Las Vegas has such a low rating. We go there every time we're in town and it seems like all the others-though quite a bit smaller. They seem to have most things that the other stores have, as well. There is a good sized lot with many new and used RVs. Dante showed us the trailers that they had in stock. He was very personable, knowledgeable and helpful. He didn't rush us and explained each trailer's features. He knew this was our first look so it was more of an education than a buying visit. We tend to buy things every trip to Camping World. I recommend the store and highly recommend Dante as a sales person. I would definitely return and give him my business. read more

Despite the low ratings, I brought my RV in to be serviced because the location was convenient. I did not purchase my RV from Camping World. Fortunately, my service agent was Brad Mercer. I found him to be professional, direct, courteous and always quick to return my texts and voice mails. In fact, most everyone I met was courteous. I'm a rookie RVer and Brad patiently explained what was going on with my repairs. Brad looked to repair my trailer per my requests and he delivered. He even saved me some $$$ repairing my broken glass shower enclosure. They happened to have some spare glass panes on hand that fit my trailer. I would have paid twice as much to order the set and the shower looks original. Whoever installed it, did a spectacular job. I wasn't in a hurry and let Brad set the schedule and was able to pick up at my convenience. My only complaint is I wish Camping World had washed my trailer...not expected but it would have been nice. Some of the reviews sound pretty awful. I think if I ever purchased from Camping World, I would swing by and talk to Brad before signing on the dotted line...just to make sure my RV was good to go. On February, 8th, at roughly 9:27am I was looking online for a trailer than can with stand 0 degree weather. I inquired about which trailers can do this to an online rep named Brittany. She wanted my name and phone number in case we get disconnected lol. I find this funny for one, because I am online and not on the phone and if I am either chatting with someone or talking over the phone and get disconnected that means I hung up on you due to your lies or bs. Needless to say I did not get the information I wanted and absolutely no help from this site and her being an online rep should already know. I simply asked which trailers can offer warmth during the night and day, enough hot water for 2 to 3 people in 0 degree weather, and etc. No answers, just come in person, no as I simply do not have time which is why normal people go online to research before going in person. I am not one to waste my time as I value it as much as the rep, but when you simply cannot answer basic questions tells me your either clueless, don't belong selling online, and simply wasting my time. Buyer beware: this Camping World location engages in unethical business practices. Unfortunately, I purchased my Nexus motorhome here and was charged a $3,995 Go-Camping fee, which was supposed to include a detailed walkthrough of the motorhome's operation, thorough cleaning, preparation, and fixing of any obvious issues, as well as topping off the fuel and propane tanks. However, the walkthrough was disappointing. The technician did not know how to turn on the lights, missed a visibly broken cabinet, and was unable to explain the motorhome's controls or the function of the two gas tanks. When I prepared to drive home, I discovered the gas tank was only one-third full. After I raised this issue, we went to a local gas station, but the tank could not take any additional gas. The technician advised me to ignore the fuel gauge and monitor the miles driven instead. This advice proved disastrous as we ran out of gas 175 miles into our trip. We coasted the RV to the far-right lane of the freeway, still impeding the traffic lane. My wife sat outside the motorhome for safety in case of a collision. It took three hours and $250 to get a diesel delivery. When I reported this incident to the dealer, they claimed no responsibility. This is just the tip of the iceberg regarding my experience with them. I STRONGLY encourage anyone considering purchasing a motorhome to look elsewhere. Just hoping that maybe I'll answer and I'll say, "Oh wow. Thanks for reminding me. I totally forgot that I was going to buy an RV. I woke up this morning and couldn't for the life of me remember what that $100,000 purchase I was considering. It was like I was at the grocery store, and knew I was forgetting something and then I get home and I realize I forgot to buy the dried rosemary spices that I like to put on grilled chicken. Had a wonderful experience with Chris over the couple of weeks while we shopped and eventually left with a beautiful new trailer. He was not too pushy and we felt very comfortable. Our walk through with the service person did feel rushed, especially because we were under the impression that as first-time trailer buyers they would take their time. I was told they had one to two hours set aside for the walk through if we needed it. Our service guy busted it out in about 10 minutes and did not slow down at all when we'd ask questions. But overall, we are happy with our purchase and YouTube is helping fill in the gaps of what we needed to learn. Have not had to file any warranty claims so we will cross that bridge when we get there. So far so good! read more

Bought a brand new rv in April 2024. Took 6 months for the Las Vegas dealership to get the correct paperwork to my DMV so that I could get license plates. This included phones calls to them on 14 separate days. Finally had to contact Camping Worlds Corporate offices. This involved 11 days of phone calls. Next emails on 6 separate days. I have now been waiting since the end of October 2024 for my title. I have made phone calls on 5 separate days to Camping World Las Vegas and none have been returned. I have called and asked to speak to the manager and were passed on to someone else's voice mail. I have now contacted corporate again and am waiting for answers. Would NEVER recommend this dealership or Camping World to anyone looking to purchase a RV or camper. Had many other issues with them however, the above are the most frustrating. read more

My sister and I stopped in to look at RVs for a possible purchase in a year or two. We were honest with the two women at the counter and told them we were just looking and didn't need to waste a salesperson's time. Both women had rude attitudes and told us we had to have a salesperson with us and even insinuated we might vandalize the units if we went alone!!! My sister still wanted to look with a salesperson in tow. The women then told us we had to give them copies of our drivers licenses and phone numbers, just to look!!! Their attempt to get our very personal information was enough. We left!! The women's attitudes were rude and condescending. When we are ready to purchase an RV it won't be from Camping World! What can we do to get you to buy today. If you get a better deal somewhere else, come back and we'll beat it. (How about give me your best deal now?) Manager comes out of his office - Why you leaving? (I'm tired and need a break and want to check other numbers. It might be me, but i'm not having a good time.) Golf cart or walk around until you're tired, not let you out of the building till you sign. If the customer leaves the building, never call them back. CW must be doing really well. I hear the RV market is exploding, but keep treating your customers that way, the 'boom' doesn't last forever. I actually wanted to check number on a loan from my Credit Union , which was better. My decision with the exact same model was drive 9 hours one way and save 13k on the trailer and better financing, deal with people that didn't sound like car salesmen or Camping World. I chose drive 9 hours. DM me and I'll tell you where if you really want to know. Don't bother with a response. After a few attempts (one a few years ago) with Camping World, I've finally learned. After 3 years of problems they still exist. We bought a 2018 Montana with 4 seasons? What does that mean? In the winter its freezing and in the summer its an oven. I took the panel off the storage and COULD SEE THE GROUND! They refuse to make it right and I am sick of it. A rat the size of a grapefruit can crawl right in to make a home and destroy the place. It has happened 3 times so far. We keep it spotless and have all the electric sensors but nothing works. Today we went down there with a sign. Camping World sold us junk. The employees just laughed at us. They are nice until you buy the rv, then? you dont exist. After reading that Camping World is so concerned and wants to speak with me? Terrible service. Our 8 month old fifth wheel needed warranty work (part missing from our slide). After one month they finally got the work completed. Upon going to pick up the Rv we found that the capture plate on our hitch was missing! Employees (3) said it was in the back of a pickup truck at a local Home Depot. We left and asked for a call once they got back with our part. No call received, so we called... "Part is here and we're installing" went down to find out that was a lie! They stated now 2 things 1) can't find it (not sure what happened to the truck at Home Depot had it) 2 oh we broke it... They don't have the part and can't find one. Store manager didn't give a rats *** about our concerns or the problem. They are the only authorized Forest River dealership in NV. So if you want a Forest River Rv and live in NV, find another manufacturer or move out of NV. read more

I purchased a motorhome from them a few years ago. The sales experience was fine but the same cannot be said about the service department. It is beyond horrible. First, it takes months to get an appointment to bring it in for service. Then, it sits on their lot for months before they even look at it. I have spent thousands of dollars in maintenance. Last year the ac stopped coming through the vents in the cab of the vehicle. I call them in November and was given an appointment in early March. They finally looked at it in the end of May and told me that the problem was due to critters making a hole in the vacuum line for the ac. I was told that this was a very time consuming job because they had to remove the seats and dash to access the parts. They charged me over $1600 dollars for the repair. Fast forward to March of this year when we went on a weekend trip near Palm Springs. It was warm enough that we needed the ac while driving and to our dismay, the same thing happened...no air coming through the vents. I called them and was told they were making appointments for June. I couldn't wait that long, so I contacted a very reputable RV repair. They diagnosed the problem and it was the vacuum again. When they started the repair, they discovered that Camping World DID NOT do the repair that they caharged me for. The old parts were still in the original position from the factory. Instead, Camping World rerouted the vacuum housing and lines near the battery ( a job that takes about 1 hour) but charged me over $1400 for labor as if they had to remove the seats and dash. Also, there was no evidence that the original problem was caused by critters and should have been covered by my warranty. BEWARE OF THEIR DISHONEST TACTICS. I will NEVER do business with them again! read more

I should have learned my lesson when I had problems with them before.....took my trailer in for warranty work. Was told by Hector in service that they would submit work to warranty and if warranty doesn't cover work then we would have the choice to have camping world complete work and pay quote he gave us or complete it ourselves. Not once were we told there would be any fees for anything. Fast forward to when he call and says warranty would not cover work and we have to pay $99 although no work was done. Fast forward again and went to pick up the trailer and now he is saying we have to pay $199, again nothing has been completed or taken apart or anything. Why the price change from no charge unless they do work, to 99 and now 199? Shady if I say so..... he specifically said no charge u less we have them do work and now it has changed twice. Take your trailer elsewhere for service unless you want to deal with the headache camping world will give you. read more

Just wanted to update my review on this horrible place run by criminals. Turns out the warranty doesn't cover 75% of the problems I'm having with this. This trailer has been an absolute nightmare. Please for the love of God be weary of this place. Do not let them ruin you and your family. My trailer has leaks and clogs. Things that are not straight like the cabinets. I'm not even exaggerating. Camping world won't even answer my calls to service my 5the wheel. I had to find an authorized dealer he would do it with the warranty. The dealer tells me they don't even want to work because the warranty is so horrible and does not pay them anything. So they try not to take any work coming from camp world. Update : mobile technician arrived. His name was Mike. He wasn't even a technician. He works at camping world in the parts department, and was offered over time. He said he was going to order stuff to fix my 5th wheel. An never returned. Now he won't return my phone calls. I took my 5th wheel to giant rv to have it fixed because it was never working right in the first place, it's still supposed to be under heartland warranty. I bought it brand new less than a year ago. Giant rv called me to let me know that Camping world never even filed the warranty. read more

**Update** Spoke with Mike Hulsey regarding our experience. Changed review to 3 stars for getting a call back and apology for the way things were handled. If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. This place is a joke from the minute we dropped our toy hauler off on April 5th. We took our trailer out 3 times and the motor to the slide out stopped working and both rear and side awning wouldn't close properly. It took 2 weeks of our trailer sitting there till it was even diagnosed. No communication from Kevin Chappell or Mike Hulsey. We would leave messages for Kevin to call us back and no response. We ended up emailing for a paper trail and Mike was CC'ed on every single email and NO response from him. The latest email was him telling us the motor for the slide wouldn't be in until 5/21, when I contacted Forest River it was shipped out and would arrive on 5/05. We caught him in the "misinformation " and his reply was it was gonna be ready for pick up on Friday 5/07. Kevin has NO customer service or communication skills. Tried to schedule for a pick up on Saturday 5/08 and spoke with Lisa the day before. She was RUDE!! Wouldn't let me get a word in and kept interrupting me when I was talking. Giving me an attitude until I asked who was the director over service then her whole demeanor changed. Finally picked up our trailer and met Cynthia in the service department. The most professional person working in that department WITH communication skills AND Customer Service!! Still giving this review 1 star because of our overall experience. Cynthia herself gets 5 's. I have been looking to sell my 5th wheel trailer and reached out to Camping World in Las Vegas. I quickly received a call back from Karl. After describing my trailer and condition, Karl gave me a High-Low quote for what they would be willing to pay for it. Based on his estimate, I towed my trailer to the dealership. Karl told me that should I decide to sell it, that the entire process should take a little over an hour and I would be on my way. When I arrived, Karl greeted me, did a look-over and had one of their service people go over the trailer. Within 20 minutes, we sat down and he confirmed their offer (somewhere between his previously quoted high-low). I accepted the offer, Karl got the paperwork together and advised me that the check would be ready for me the following day for pick up or he could Next Day the check to me. I was on my way home in an hour-twenty minutes and the following day I received a tracking number from Karl. The check arrived the following day. Karl was great to work with. He worked quickly and followed through on everything he promised. read more

CW Camping World AUCTIONS, Nation wide is one of biggest waste of time I have ever experienced. They entice you in by great buys on RV's. In terms there is a reserve price you must meet to be able to buy the RV. Why don't you just list the price of the RV instead of getting people's hopes up that can't afford the RV.
