I bought a trailer from camping world in April of 2020. My trailer is not even 3 years old and the batteries have gone bad. I talked to camping world and they told me that they only warranty them for 1 year. If you buy batteries from anywhere else they give you at least a 3 year warranty. Also I have water damage in my bathroom by the sink and they only give you a 1 year warranty on there trailers. They know it takes more than a year for things to start going wrong. How do you spend $100,000 on a trailer and only get a 1 year warranty. Camping world is only out to get your money. I would never recommend anyone to buy anything from them. read more

Buyer Beware ... I purchased a new travel trailer about 3 weeks ago from Camping World, Las Vegas. Since I live in Arizona, the "Finance Guy" was going to send all of the necessary registration documentation to Arizona's MVD. I was given a 15 day "drive away" tag, which has since expired. I had a camping trip with some friends that had to be cancelled, due to the temporary tag expiring, and the new tags not arriving. I spoke to the sales person (TJ), about the issue. He told me to text him my address, and another temporary tag would be sent to me; I text him my address that same day, and I never received another temporary tag. I went to the MVD to see about my tags; MVD said that they have nothing from Camping World regarding the trailer's registration. It looks like once the sale is completed, the sales force at Camping World can care less about providing customer satisfaction. Don't do business with TJ. Don't do business with Camping World. As for their "so-called" Good Sam discounts at their store ... you can find everything they sell a heck of a lot cheaper at Walmart, Amazon, and eTrailer.com. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAMPER HERE, THEY WILL STEAL YOUR PROPERTY! I had my camper on consignment with them last year. It cost me 300 dollars and did not sell. I picked it up and stored it for a year on a military base. When I went to use it, I found my battery converter was missing. The converter was suppose to be behind the fuse panel, they put it back together, but left live electrical wires loose, good thing it didn't burn down and kill our family. Camping world stole my private property and through their negligent maintenance put my family's lives at stake, when called on it they said they could do nothing due to the time frame. read more

Anyway, I drove this this business and asked for help. A technician looked at it and quickly found a resolution. They were able to secure the arm in under an hour and DID NOT even charge me. Today I went in with a problem and left with a solution and new theater seating recliners! Oscar was a perfect example of a caring installer. Before he screwed it down he FaceTimed to make sure I was ok with how much room I had and there was a concern over the under the window micro table and drink holders. The final install was excellent and he addressed all issues. Very professional! Lorrin was my sales person and he was swamped but treated everyone with as if they were all important. He took the time to show my wife and me the choices. He made us a deal and I compared with some others online and felt good about my purchase. Ok so this review is for the service department only!! I originally bought a 2020 Shockwave toyhauler May of 2019. Needless to say it wasn't a good unit! Mike Hulsey the service manager is the ONLY reason this place is getting 5 stars. Fast forward to May of 2020 I purchase a New 2020 Grand Design Momentum 398 from another dealer. I have since been bringing my Grand Design in for tons of custom stand alone solar system install among other things. And nothing I've thrown at him confuses him and I'm super picky with what I want done! Rafael the service tech that has been doing the custom install even gave me his cell phone number just in case I have any questions with this complicated system I had installed. I own a diesel shop in this valley and understand how hard it is to find talented and dedicated employees and let me tell you this much, Mike has gone above and beyond to help me and make me feel like family. Camping world is lucky to have someone like Mike Hulsey. And how he leads his technicians speaks loudly as to the integrity of this man. I have waited awhile to post this...I needed to calm down, collect my thoughts and I want to share this to warn others of Camping World of Las Vegas and Carl in their RV sales department. Carl is a "bait and switch" salesman. Be aware of this before they do this to you!!! My husband and I pulled our fifth wheel from So Cal to Vegas with Carl's "word" that he would buy our trailer and he would "do better" than what Giant RV offered us. When we got there Carl denied having said that and offered us $31.000 for a 2019 fifth wheel in beautiful condition. It took everything I had in me to walk out of their offices. I had so much anger in me and Carl did all of this with a straight face and his righteous attitude was really hard to take. Please be careful. I had heard so much about Camping World and their corrupt ways but Carl, after weeks of several telephone conversations I felt that I could trust his word. I have purchased over 30 cars in my lifetime, and have never experienced such incompetence and deception as I have with the finance department. DO NOT WORK WITH ANYONE NAMED JOE OR JOSEPH IN THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT!!!. They told me I had a 15 year loan just like the one I had already been approved for with another lender, so I took theirs. Then when I get to Vegas they tell me there is no way I could get a 15 year with that interest rate. They lied! They did not tell me I had to have a cashier's check, so I had to contact my bank and drive all over Vegas to get a cashier's check. They tacked on a $2000 paint plan that I specifically told them I did not want, and they didn't even do it. I had to have the $2000 refunded to the loan. I just went to the licensing place to get my plates only to find out none of the paperwork was notarized. This is after it took 27 days for it to arrive overnight, they told me it would be a week. The location manager just sends out a standard response to all emails, and Joe would not apologize for his deceptive practicing. Do not use their finance department, they are incompetent liar's. So I posted this thinking It was over, wrong. ! As I mentioned on my review, it was and is still a problem. Yesterday I went to get my license plates. I had to reschedule because none of the paperwork from Camping World was notarized. So my wife and I had to take off work so we could both be there. Then on my second attempt I was told that a Release of Interest was not included with the paperwork. So we all contacted Camping World while I was at the licensing place. We were told the lady who does the paperwork does not accept phone calls. So we need to leave a message and an email. We did both, my wife and I waited at the licensing place for 2 hours, no response. I still don't have a title or registration and without a release of interest it will never happen. If I could select no stars I would. This place is a joke. We bought a 5th wheel in May 2022 there were several things that needed to be fixed including the door. They delivered 3 weeks after we purchased and said the door had been fixed. See pics that I have attached. This is not the first lie they told us. The door would pop open and not lock so it was not safe as well as hot as heck. We live in Vegas where the heat is in the triple digits. Our air bill was double what it should have been. We were assured by Hector over the phone and corporate that they would pay our bill since the door was not fixed in the 3 weeks that they had before delivery and since it took so long for them to get another door. I sent the bill to Jordon as requested and got an email back that the bill would not be taken care of per management and corporate. Lie #2. The day the door was to be installed scheduled time 12 noon I got a call from Hector and Jordon at 2pm saying the tech was not coming. I was baffled. I had been sitting here waiting for the tech and 2 hours after scheduled time they call and say he is not coming until the next day. When they changed our door they had to pull the molding off the exterior and order new molding. Its been a month and we are still sitting here door slipping heat coming in again, no molding. I emailed Jordon 3 different times with no answer. I called our salesman TJ 2 weeks ago to let him know that we were not getting any answers and he said that he would let Paul Allen know which is the general manager I think? I have heard nothing. I called and emailed Marcusvip today trying to get answers. I have not heard anything back. Its pretty clear to me that all these people care about is selling an RV. Once the sale is done that's it. Their service is horrible and non existent. I would be embarrassed to be associated with this team. They are supposed to be here today and I have not heard back from anyone. I would not buy from this place or recommend to anyone. The resort that we are at, there are several people here that have had the same problems. Up until delivery our experience with our sales professional, TJ, was nothing but positive. At the time of delivery a young gentleman showed us all around the vehicle and made sure we understand how to operate it but when almost finished we noticed he didn't show us how to use the bunk above the cab. It was then that we discovered it wasn't working, needed a new motor, and the motor was already on order. They told us that it would take about a few weeks for the motor to come in. Me and my girlfriend looked at each other both thinking, "there's something very wrong with this place and that was a dirty move on Camping World to intentionally hide a major defect". I sincerely believe this was intentional because we went through every square inch of the vehicle very meticulously but then overlooked a major aspect of the interior??? We had a trip booked to Zion the day after delivery so we tried to make the best of it for our guests, which proved to be rather inconvenient because the bunk above the cab is the biggest bed. So after being on our first trip for about 9 days we brought the coach back to have the initial list of promised things to fix and by then, the bunk motor should be in stock. During our trip we noticed immediately that the fridge was not getting cold so we asked them to fix or replace that as well. After about a week, we never heard back from the service department I called them to get a status and come to find out only a few things were actually fixed and the motor never came in. Why didn't they give me a courteous call and why didn't they fix all the other things??? The excuse I received from the sales manager (GM and service manager were not there and I have yet to speak to the GM despite several requests). The next day I came in to pick up the vehicle because we wanted to get a new and hopefully solid ETA on the part for the motor and the floor. We were told by the short bald gentlemen who is a like a liaison between sales and delivery and he was so rude and passive aggressive and his answer to us after asking several specific questions was "everyone else is waiting too sir there's noting else we can do except wait". Wrong answer. All we were trying to do is find out why the part is late, get to the bottom of the problem and get a new ETA. When asked to talk to the GM, once again we were told he or she wasn't there and was referred to the sales manager and we then asked the parts guy to call Thor and get to the bottom of the issue. The sales manager leaves the room to take care of this and after waiting about 20 minutes we were thinking this is taking way too long and looked around the building and there was no one in site and finally found the sales manager in the breakroom with the parts guy. He completely forgot about us and left us there waiting. Ends up the part WAS in fact in stock and will be here in a few days. What?????? You got to be kidding me. These people are doing everything they can to not help us and just gave us the cold shoulder after the sale and couldn't give two sh*ts about making good on their promise. One other major red flag is that we were never given any paperwork from the service department on what was repaired and was never given any paperwork when dropping off, which I'm pretty sure is illegal. We asked repeatedly for something in writing and were flat out denied. On top of that, the floor of the vehicle had mud and grease all over the floor!!!! What in the world is going on here??? I asked them to at least clean up the mess they created and was told they can clean it up but not today. Absolutely ridiculous!!! By the way, the service tech told us he never received a list of things to be repaired so that's why it was never fixed. That is the most stupidest thing I have ever heard. We have a vehicle in for repairs, with no repairs list and just sits there for over week. Crazy!! Bottom line is During the walk through we discovered several other minor things like scratches and small dents in the exterior paint and stuff like that but also noticed some more concerning issues like rips in the flooring in the main area of the coach and two rips in the bathroom floor which was a huge surprise because the rips in the flooring were not existent during our initial walkthrough. So here we are Three months later and virtually none of the initial defects and damage has been repaired and we have a brand new RV that's ravaged with multiple defects and NO WORKING REFRIDGERATOR. Forgot to mention that we were told the fridge is fine but it's definitely not cooling off!!! An important note; I really wanted to support Camping World because I like how the owner Marcus does business. Too bad he has a team of horrifically bad employees at this key location. Bought my first travel trailer in May. It was a 2020 that was used twice and sold back. Great find/timing and for the most part I feel like a got a good deal. Sales guy was new so he new very little, but he was nice and tried to get the answers we wanted. No real issues with him. Was going to put about half down and finance the rest. There were issues with the loan after I did all the paperwork. Apparently I wasn't borrowing enough so he needed me to come back and redo some things. I decided to scrap the loan and just pay it in full. When I went to do so, some guy was trying to get me to pay and sign a form which still said I owed $10,000 (previous finance guy didn't have updated paperwork ready). Had to leave and come back yet again to pay, re-sign and be done. Once I got beyond that, I was told I needed more than a hitch for my SUV. Was sold on stabilizers which overall, were a good idea. I paid for it in full and scheduled to get all the hookups so I could tow it. Day of, parts not in.. took over two weeks of my constantly checking in to get it scheduled to have the work done. No follow up. We finally get the trailer and take it out (dry camping). Turn water pump on and water starts pouring out the bottom. There were no overflow caps. Which is weird cause we did a walk through and every thing worked then. Wasted hours finding a hardware store to fix. On the second trip we found the caps in the outside shower. Somebody took them off before they gave it to us and put them there. Accident or on purpose, who knows. Second time out, water pump is leaking and only shower works (no toilet or sink). Tough out trip and call Camping World on way back. Service was closed so I asked if I could drop it off so they could look at it whenever they could fit me in. My storage is across town but CW is 5 minutes from my house, so I didn't want to have to make a big trip back. The assistant said I could drop it but outside the gates.... Huh? Leave my trailer so someone can just hook it up and steal it, really? Hit my limit. Called Camping World in Henderson by Boulder Highway and the guy was super nice. Told me to drop it there at the lot. Came out to greet me and was very helpful. Called me a few days later with the suggested fixes. ***update to previous review**** Boulder location had two mechanics look at it, both gave totally different diagnosis. First said I needed new water pump (even though shower still worked), second wanted to remove my water tank for some reason. Not trusting this place either, I took my trailer and called a guy who comes to you to fix it. Found problem in less than 5 minutes. Plastic and debre from installation never got cleaned out and plugged filters in sink and toilet. Manufacturers error but CW didn't catch it on inspection. Checking filters is kind of important. Only positive is I notified corporate and they are refunding me my costs to fix it which I appreciate. Still could never step foot in a Camping World unless it's to buy a part. Would not trust for service or to buy a camper/RV. If I didn't take this elsewhere, I'd be out $1000 and still had a problem as the real fix was $50 in parts... read more

We hit a gas station pole unfortunately on our first day of our journey after selling our home and buying a 5th wheel. We called camping world in Pocatello Idaho and explained the entire situation and what we needed, they said they could help us out so we stayed in a campground there out of pocket to our membership for two weeks and took it in. Unfortunately, they looked at it for 5 minutes and told us they would have to order parts from vegas (where we originally came from) and couldn't really help us. Instead of spending more unnecessary money in Idaho, we drove all the way back to vegas to have it fixed. We have had to stay in a hotel for a week initially while they checked it out, then picked it up and stayed in a campground for 5 weeks while they said the parts were being ordered. It took forever for those parts to come in and we finally got to stop it off to be fixed so we could be on our way. Again, we had to stay in a hotel (mind you we have dogs and the 5th wheel is literally our home now so this isn't easy to do) for another week. When we picked it up they said the last part still wasn't in. Are you kidding?! Now we have to stay in the campground again for 10 days because they said the part would be in the 20th on august. Guess what? STILL NOT IN!! And the dude handling it has no idea what contact info to even ask the people who send the parts could be. Is this a joke? How do you have zero into on the status? And basically told us to call them. When my husband called, they said they didn't have that order number in the system? Hmm. Something is not right and the fact that this dude Alex isn't even trying to get it figured out to help is is insanity to me. Trust me, we have been so patient and kind during this whole ordeal Hoping it would help get something done, but this has gone too far at this point. Horrid customer service. They never return calls, never call on their own to update us, and never have info for us. I can't believe a company is run this poorly!!!!! I had to beg the campground to extend our stay once again. It's affected so much in our lives and is beyond frustrating snd appalling. We have no answers, we are stuck in this limbo and always unsure where we need to last minute make hotel arrangements or beg for campground extensions. Campgrounds also require two days advanced notice before you check out or it counts against you. How in the world is this so unorganized? How does Alex not know when parts will be sent and arrive? Or how long it'll take to fox when they arrive so we can make actual plans finally? Our entire goal was to leave The Las Vegas heat during the summer & now we've been stuck here during two to three of the hottest months!! This is not right. Please help us. I took my class A diesel Motorhome in for service. When my husband called and scheduled an oil change with 10k miles on a 2022. We were in the process of selling it and the new owner was picking it up the same day. When we dropped it off I asked if it needed anything else serviced and the guy told me that since it didn't have more then 100 hours nothing else needed to be serviced. I specifically asked about the generator with 60 hours. We picked the Motorhome home several hours later and handed the keys and paperwork for the oil change on the Cummins engine over to the new owners. Days later the new owner sent us a picture of the receipt which clearly stated that an oil change was done on the generator. No oil change was done on the engine which is what it was in there for. It's our fault for not looking at the receipt before leaving but that was really embarrassing handing over a $200k plus Motorhome which we promised would be serviced and it was not. I would never recommend camping world for service. Such a waste of money! They performed service that we didn't ask for and didn't get the one we needed. read more

My husband & I were at the Las Vegas, Camping World location on Saturday, October 2, 2021. It has literally taken me a few weeks to decide that I indeed wanted to post a review on my experience. Our salesman was extremely pleasant to work with. 5 STAR***** We will definitely be buying from him!! My review is with the "Appeared" to be the very friendly receptionist. We were sitting at one of the desks in front of the reception area for a good hour and a half, while our salesman kept going back & forth running our credit/ numbers. I overheard the receptionist talking with another salesman, he was wearing a Camping World shirt as well. He came up to her and said hello, he was eating what looked like candy. She asked what are you eating, he answered a sweet peep?, Marcus, sent treats as recognition to the sales team, I thought it was nice for him to acknowledge us. Her comment to him was what a cheap fuck!! The salesman replied back to her saying "WOW" THAT WAS RUDE!!! He smirked and then walked away. I turned to my husband asked if he heard that? We just looked at each other, "WOW!" Our salesman returned back to the desk, we then focused on our numbers. I personally, as a small business owner, was completely appalled by her. So rude, how entitled she must be!! Not to mention an unappreciative employee. I did go to reception asked her name she said Karyle, I told her my sister's name is Carly too! She then proceeded to tell me how she spelled it, we both laughed and I asked if she had trash to throw my empty water bottle away & she did, I seemed to annoy her at that point. I thanked her & headed back to the desk. Because we sat so close I could hear everything she said. She seemed so friendly but after she'd hung up the phone had nothing but rude remarks about her callers. Before we left I did make it a point to ask our salesman who was Marcus, he replied back he is our CEO & pointed to the picture on the wall. This is the very reason I wrote this review. We will write a separate review for our salesman who is worthy of his own 5 stars, not to be tarnished by another employee. To the very Bitter/Unhappy Receptionist Karyle, I told this story in one of my morning meetings & we all agreed on this review. Be mindful of the people around you. read more

Horrible experience with TJ the sales person. TJ is like the old-school slick and dishonest used car salesperson that twirls his oily mustache in the parking lot looking for the next sucker to arrive. From the first moment I contacted him he continually pushed me to come over to the lot. I gave him my specifics, I told him that I'm looking for a Winnebago with such and such requirements. TJ said he has other brands that are better than Winnebago, so I proceed to give him my requirements for an RV. He sent me picture after picture of RVs that supposedly fit my criteria. When I asked for the price or the link to Camping World's website he refused to disclose it. However, when I was looking at the pictures I pointed out to him how they don't match what I was looking for. tj told me to hold on and he'll get back to me. A little while later he said he has one that's perfect, that meets everything I want, but it's the last one on the lot. TJ refused to give me the website link or the price. I asked if he could at least give me the make and model. He initially refused to do so but after I told him I'm not coming he relented. I looked up that RV online. Apparently it doesn't fit me at all. Most obviously, it is 5 feet longer than my max. I pointed that fact out to him. Than for the next I don't know how long, he kept on and on about how I'm wrong to limit myself with only 22 feet. The guy was not taking a no! I honestly fell as if he was raping my ear! After he finished dumping his big load of BS into my brain I told him its not getting anywhere. I have to have a link to see the RVs TJ claimed are "exactly" what I'm looking for. Initially he didn't want to send any link, but when I told him I'll speak to his manager, he acquitted and sent me a link. However (there's always an HOWEVER with this guy), TJ did not send a specific link to the RVs he was mentioning. But a link to the whole store inventory! In my head I was like, REALLY? Is this some childish game here?? I never had such an awful experience! I don't know if it's because I have an accent he thinks I'm Fresh of the Boat and he can take advantage of me. I don't presume to understand him. But please keep it in mind and avoid him at all costs! read more

Gabe was very polite and treated us so special. He was thorough during the walk-through. He was very knowledgeable about our trailer and he went the extra mile! Gabe was informative and assisted us with all our needs and answered all of our questions. My family and I recommend Las Vegas Camping World to anyone looking for camping needs.
