WE brought our RV in to get a few mechanical things checked out and fixed. But the big project was changing out our manual awning for an electric one. Desiree and Ryan did an excellent, professional job with the parts, getting the parts and having everything ready to go. It only took a couple days, Rich the technician, did a fabulous job with the free 22 point inspections, installation of the awning, fixing the solar plug, check out the roof AC and changing out the batteries and cleaning the coach compartment. the price was very affordable, and they kept me in the loop every step of the way. Ok so warranty update: After 2 months at they're shop, I was called and told everything was ready, found red latch for emergency bath exit still not fixed, slider door track to master hanging off ceiling still, bath cold water line leaking due to over tightening fitting - it wrecked the grommet, kitchen window still not fixed - it won't lock... now water heater system went out... instead of taking it back for more warranty work and 2 more months downtime, I fixed issues out of pocket for couple hours work - maybe cost me $200, it's better than leaving it with these guys for months on end, I got burned for a few thousand dollars for a worthless warranty, lesson learned, they're really good at selling new units and I would still purchase from here but definitely not buy extended warranty, service dept is the blind leading the blind, poor work ethic and no integrity, even when I picked it up the wheels had cob webs, that's how long it sat... this could all be avoided if finance/closing/warranty person would walk new purchasers through "what's it like" to deal with service - but then no one would buy the warranties... I'm looking at my warranty paperwork and it's just real expensive paper that does nothing got me ! read more

Do you like surprises? Then shop for a new RV here! I walk in and tell the salesman, "I've already picked the RV I want online. I have cash and a trade-in. I want two numbers: the price of the trailer for sale, and the value of my trade-in" (a trailer I bought new 4 months ago for $32k). He's so happy he lowers the price of the trailer I want from $39k to $37k. We shake hands on it. Surprise #1 He hands me off to a second salesman, who sits me down and makes me wait...and wait. Finally he returns and tells me that they can't sell it to me for that lower price. So back to $39k. Then again, he leaves me to wait...and wait... Surprise #2 After waiting a long time, he shows up with an offer: $39k plus a $1900 fee for prepping the trailer...what? It's a brand new trailer! And btw, if something IS wrong, they charge the manufacturer parts and labor to fix it. He leaves, and again I wait. Btw, this is on a weekday morning, and they are not busy. Surprise #3 If you have a trade-in, brace yourself! During the hours that I sat there, I repeatedly asked, "What's the value of my trade-in"? "Oh, we're working on it" the salesman told me over and over. Finally the finance guy comes out with a sales contract. And there, buried in the small print in the middle, is my trade-in: $16k!...so I walked out. The next day I went to an RV dealer down the road who in 5 minutes offered me $23k for my trade-in. Then sold me a trailer for the price we agreed on. 45 minutes after I walked in I was signing paperwork and writing a check. That's how you get good reviews and lifetime customers. J. Paul Getty once said, "Find a product that sells itself, and you be the one to sell it". So what's the problem, Camping World? Do you really have to ascribe to the shifty sales tactics of giving one price, then going back on that offer? And making a me wait, and WAIT, AND WAIT! OMG!!! We're you hoping that because I'm really, really old, I'd become so emotionally drained that I'd agree to a ridiculous offer? Besides the low ball offer on my trade in, this bothers me: As grandpa used to say, "a man is only as good as his word". I went to find a regulator and look for other camping items. Nothing had a price listed. The store had items stacked on top of each other. There was no organization at all. The employees were present but not helpful. An older woman said they had received items from rocklin and is having a hard time find spots for all the items. How to go get a few things fixed for my warranty on my Winnebago. When I went there I told him that my regulator was not working the gas was not reaching to the back of the travel trailer. My screen door latch was broke, my toilet seal water was leaking through. That is what I talk to the service man John about. Well instead of them checking the gas line to make sure refrigerator and everything else worked they tried to overcharge me $100 for checking the refrigerator out. When in reality I shouldn't have been charged to build it all outside of my $50 warranty. So I had to call the manager and explain and he ended up taking $100 off cuz John the service guy fought me so bad verbally and in emails. So then when I went to pick my travel trailer up John told me don't ever come back to here you're a liar and just almost should have just called me a bad word that almost came out his mouth. John is the worst service I've ever got in my life. John you should never ask for him when you're getting your service done in Roseville at camping world. John will make you feel so bad and will talk so disrespectful to you like he did me stay away from John. I am now going further with this cuz of the respect that John did to me and my wife at our pickup he made us feel like dirt. I talked to Rodney the sales manager great guy and I hope something is done to John and I want him fired cuz I know I'm not the only person that he disrespected so bad like this. I give this location two stars. I spotted a pop up trailer that mysteriously showed up on my social media ad. I had been toying with the idea for awhile. I called to inquire about it and spoke to Jermaine. He was very accommodating when it came down to bargaining. I told him the price point I was willing to pay and where I wanted to stay at as far as payments were concerned. He dropped the sale price and worked with multiple lenders to get me a deal as close to my terms as possible. I initially backed out and about three weeks later changed my mind and gave him a call. I asked if the initial deal applied and I even reiterated the phrase "out the door" price which was promised. He agreed. At that point he had the opportunity to correct me if there was a misunderstanding. He did not, and he agreed that yes that was the out of the door price, including taxes, and fees. I paid the deposit online and I was told that the unit would go through the service department, and since it was preowned, everything would be inspected prior to the time I picked it up. When I picked it up, John assisted me with the walkthrough. He was great at explaining how everything worked and took his time answering every and all of my questions. During the walkthrough , there were a few minor things that I identified that were broken and had not been fixed prior to our appointment. He got those things fixed right away. Then it was time to go to finance, and I dealt with Edward. We had done a lot of the discussion over the phone so the paperwork was pretty quick, so I just started signing. My mistake. At that time I didn't realize that the sale price me and Jermaine agreed to was listed in addition to taxes and fees on the contract. That's not the "out the door" deal Jermaine had made. When I called Jermaine on it, he changed his story. I told him that I would rather return the trailer. It's not about paying the extra thousand dollars or so, it's about the principal and integrity. I spoke to the general manager Rodney about this. Again he had nothing to say about it. I understand that you have to pay sales tax and fees on a purchase. But you do not tell somebody that you were going to sell them something for a set price out of the door which includes taxes and fees, and then draw up a contract that says different. Beware , and read all of the fine print. Edward was so fast talking that he was making my head spin and it distracted me from what I was signing. Again, my fault but I mistook him for being honest. My decision to purchase from Camping World was also based on their advertisement that all of their preowned RVs come with brand new mattresses and pass a 130+ point inspection. My mattresses were not brand new. We took it out for camping two weeks after the purchase and when I tried to use the water pump for the sink and the shower, everything started leaking from the bottom of the trailer. There was also a leak in the roof that I unfortunately experienced in the rain during my trip. That's a big disappointment and tells me they do not do a thorough inspection of preowned RV's If your looking to buy preowned , please beware. They advertise a lot, but I got a trailer that I now have to worry about fixing , and a price I feel like I got scammed into paying. At least one without the other would make me feel better a little better about the decision. read more

Was stored IN A BARN that entire time. Didn't have first bad rain until November. In December, found out not only was the roof leaking due to bad patch job on the seams, the entire wall/side frame was rotted out. 2-3 inch thick studs rotted to nothing. I bought the trailer with a weird hole in the bedroom that they patched HORRIBLY and was told it was inspected and good to go. Seams on roof looked fine, had someone coming to just do touch ups late December. Tried calling corporate since if customer isn't happy , CEO isn't happy. Well that lady, Kim, didn't help either. Told me it was inspected and checked out? Well apparently not, silly Kim. And apparently I'm not the first to get a lawyer to deal with these morons, John Thompson the salesman, Larry the other moron, and the lady with grey hair at the front desk because she couldn't do anything better in life. Went back today after they added the back up camera and few other items and completed a walkthrough with John, an incredibly patient, knowledgeable, very people oriented guy. Beware! Bought a Toilet seat from them for over $70 out the door. Got it on and the second day it broke. The screws pulled out from the top due to being stripped at the factory. Took it in due to it being defective. Exchanged for another one with looks from the manager like we created the problem. Got home and opened the second one and the exact same problem. Screws were already coming loose from the top. Took it back and showed them the defect. They informed us they didn't have another but couldn't give me my money back. I would have to get a gift certificate. I asked why it's not my fault the item was defective or that they didn't have any in stock but to no avail. I bought the toilet seat at another Rv parts place because I needed the seat - I don't like falling in. So I will use up my gift certificate some way and never be a customer again at Camping World until they change their policies. So again Beware. I have worked in retail and have never heard of a policy where you only get a gift certificate for returned items. In other words they hold your money hostage to make you shop there. DO NOT PURCHASE A RIG FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! We purchased a 2017 Class B motor home from Camping World in July 2022. When purchased they said it was put through a comprehensive 8 hour inspection process to make sure things were up to par (A BIG LIE). Once we finally got to pick up the rig, we noticed raw wood around the roof vents, missing gaskets, the shower fan did not work & a/c was not operating properly. We took it back to be repaired, only to get it back with 1/2 of the repairs incomplete. So, we had to take it in again. When we arrived the 2nd time our service guy saw us coming, made eye contact, ran out the back door & took off on a moped!!!! WHO DOES THAT! Once we were finally able to go on our maiden voyage, we discovered that the shower leaked & the molding inside literally fell off while driving! Forward to today......We have paperwork saying that they inspected & sealed the roof. We had winterized the rig, but decided to make sure there we no leaks. To our dismay the entire bunk mattress & bunk area were sopping wet! So much so that the cab area & seats were sopping wet as well. We contacted Camping World to see how to remedy the situation & we're told it was NOT THEIR PROBLEM. We we're responsible to fix this. They told us they only cover the roof for 90 days. But it doesn't rain in the summer, how can you guarantee only 90 days of no leaks we asked. AGAIN, NOT THEIR PROBLEM!!!! Please, DO NOT PURCHASE anything from these people!!! We came to Roseville Camping World for the yearly inspection for our TT as the one closer to us in Vacaville could not fit us in before our warranty would be up. Roseville was able to accommodate us with an appointment and had our TT back to us quicker than we expected. We need a few minor repairs which were just normal wear and tear one the trailer which our service tech John took care of as well as the overall inspection. 2 years ago in 2021 we bought a brand new Forest River Sabre. We paid cash and we were so excited for this purchase. My husband had gotten a recent diagnosis from doctor and we dont know how long he has and he wanted to do some traveling before symptoms got worse. He wanted to see parts of the United states and stay at amazing campgrounds and enjoy what time he has. We bought brand new and bought an expensive warranty. Well there has been problems since we drove it off the lot. Nobody at camping world will help us. We dont want to have to get an attorney but we have been trying to get things fixed on our brand new RV but nobody will help us. When they installed washer and dryer something was wrong with it and we asked for a new washer and dryer not one that was put in damaged. They promised as soon as a new one comes in we will replace it. That was over a year ago and they still wont replace it. The hot water heater went out already on our brand new trailer and that is still not fixed. No hot showers in my brand new trailer. I literally spent my hard earned money for this and they could care less. I cry every day over this. The walls look old as it's all peeled off in spots. The trailer leaks!!! Its brand new and it leaks!!! Water came in when it was raining and ruined some of our belongings including documents that were important. Oven buttons all the numbers already faded away and you cant see temperature. Blue lights around oven dont work. I mean the list goes on and on. Calling over and over and they wont fix anything. Do no purchase an RV from this dealership. They did some repairs to my new RV prior to me purchasing it. After a trip I noticed the lining underneath was touching the ground while camping. They taped the lining and I was told by my service representative that this was an acceptable repair per the manufacturer. They decided to replace a section of the liner aft looking into their service records. When I drove off the lot, I was flagged down by 2 vehicles who were pointing at the roof of the RV. I took it back to the dealership to have it checked out and they said they did a repair on the vent. The vent that the repaired blew off during the winter and they refused to fix it so I paid another business to repair it. I notified the dealership that the toilet was leaking after using it for the first time. They said they couldn't find a leak. I took it on a trip last month and the toilet is still leaking, you can see a small chip in the plastic fitting coming from the toilet. During my first trip using the RV i noticed a scratch on the aluminum siding and when I asked them to repair it, the said I probably hit something and after pushing the issue they reluctantly did some touch up work with some paint. Andrew in service is worthless and has an attitude. They schedule an appt and once you drop off your RV it takes 5 months to get a repair done and I don't think the repairs were completed at all. They did nothing for the leaking toilet and my bathroom door was hitting the cabinet when it's opened. They said it was a factory defect and they would request repair from the factory. They claimed they completed a repair but it looks exactly the same as when I took it in for repair. If you buy an RV from this place, make sure you do a good walk around the unit and check for damage before you drive it off the lot. read more

Liars, Liars, MF LIARS!!! BEWARE!!! WOLF IN SHEEPS CLOTHING HERE!!! I KNOW, CAUSE IM A WOLF NORMALY! Im a salesman, so i know the tircks. These people 1st off, lied to me, my wife, and my family and assured me that my ford f150 would tow the trailer I wanted. (I even had the manager bryan, come inspect my truck, and he approved it as well) They installed the hitch system, and the brake controler, and i bought trailer and went home. Almost rekt on way! Trailer WAY TOO HEAVY!!!!!! I called them back, and just getting ahold of a manager was an all day event. Bryan (main manager) was really cool! said "just bring it back, no worries, we would never want you in an unsafe situation" "we want our customers happy" he then said "give me 1 day to reverse the paperwork, and bring it back on wednesday" So i called wednesday morning, and Bryan did not come to work that day...... And they tried to detour the return! I took back, and tried to find a lighter trailer that would suite our needs. (They were still nice at this point). But when they had no trailer to suite our needs, they tried to keep part of my initial deposit for installing a trailer break box. ($65 part, takes 5 minutes to plug in. super ez task) The manager Andrew told me I was going to pay full price for this, which was 250.00 aprox., (Which in never agreed to, since that install was [part of the initial trailer deal.) I pleaded with him that Im happy to pay for the part, and a little labor. i said id pay 150max (thats 75 profit for thier 10 min install. (2 screws, and a plug is all it was) long story short, i unistalled it myself with a pocket knife in 90 seconds. (I timed it, video taped it) Then, they told me that they could not refund me anything, because Bryan was not there. (Even tho Bryan was supposed to be for my deal. but he flaked) Every step of the way, they tried to MAKE SURE i could not get my 2500 deposit back! I almost had to call the COPS!!!! These people are THIEVES!!!!!!!!!!!! (with a smile) My whole family caught Andrew lie to us, more than once, and he also threw his salesman "Melissa" (our 1st salesman) under a bus, and used her to push his lies! (He said that Mellisa said "she tried to talk us out of such a heavy trailer) which could NOT be further from truth. Melissa did try to price gouge us for sure! said trailer was 29k!! for sure! Then we fell in love, and she walked away, and came back and said "Sorry its actually 34K!!! " (wtf)... So we lost interest, and she could see that. So she came back again and said "My manager said he would do it for 29K, since we like it" (they tried to add urgency to the situation) These people ONLY want to get you to sign!! Then you are dog shit to them! Even after i returned the trailer, and had been shopping for a new (lighter) on thier lot for an hour+, Andrew said "We should just stick you with the original contract, you signed it! doesn't matter about your truck weight rating, since technically its barely maxxed out, but is within the range." (Without any water in tanks)...Which means its unusable, unless i upgrade to a bigger truck. I had to correct him. My truck was rated at 7500lbs MAX, the trailer they sold me, and hooked up was 7680lbs DRY!!! They sold my first trailer out from under me. Then we decided to buy a differen't trailer. You can add lying to the list. We were told that when we switch trailers they couldn't give us the discount they said they would for our inconvenience but 2 weeks later they have the same trailer for less than we bought it.
