Heard great things about Campitelli Cookies from my sister-in-law who loves cookies so I made a stop here for some dessert. I was surprised to see they have quite an extensive sandwich menu as well for lunch (gotta come back and try them soon). Cookies are well priced at about $1.65 per cookie or $9.25 for a half dozen. Opted for a half dozen of chocolate chip, cinnamon sugar, white chocolate macadamia, and the butter toffee which was recommended by the staff helping me. My top two was definitely the chocolate chip (can't ever go with with that) and the butter toffee! Packaged neatly in a clear plastic container with a Campitelli logo sticker on top. They nailed cookies and sandwiches. I've been going to the Anaheim Hills location for years and just recently discovered this location exists. Parking lot is bigger and it's super clean inside. The employees are always nice and there's no shortage of cookies here. You can purchase a bag of not so perfect or day old cookies at a discount price which is good for parties or gatherings since there's a variety of flavors in the bag. I'm a fan of the walnut chocolate chip cookies, but all of the flavors are excellent. UPDATE: (as of 1/29/20): I've been here multiple times now. I can't believe I haven't tried this place sooner. I absolutely LOVE these cookies and all the flavors they offer. I wish there were more seasonal flavors, I just can't get enough! TEXTURE NOTE: if you love cookie dough, these are slightly dense (which I love) but somehow still big and fluffy? Campitelli has the best cookies. Always fresh and delicious, they're nothing short of addictive. I'm glad that this location isn't too close to my house, or I'd be here constantly. Campitelli cookies!!!!!! I love, love and love these cookies! Yup, they are pricey but they are good. The "Misfits" are the best! For $4.95 you get about six cookies that had something happen like it broke in half or perhaps it is one day old. Most cookie places sell cookies days old! I'll take these overnight cookies any old day. Crunchy, gooey, chocolatey or Snickerdoodlish...they have whatever you fancy. The holiday and special event cookies are so good, too! They also have soups and the pepperoni/sausage hot sandwiches for lunch. I have always wanted a big box of Campitelli cookies for a gift. Maybe one day! Been coming here for a few years now and I've always loved their cookies and their Stromboli's. However today I tried their pastrami on rye with just plain old mustard and it hit the spot. It's obviously not Jewish deli great but it'll suffice if you're craving plain ol pastrami. In regards to how they're handling covid 19 safety, there are signs out front displaying no masks no service so any of you Karens and Chad's who want to cause a scene, please see your way out. They have social distancing markings and lines once inside, and all the workers there are wearing masks and changing gloves in between customers. Continuing the addiction I was really bummed because we used to live right across the street from the Campitelli in Anaheim Hills. It was nice being able to swing by on the way home and pick up some cookies. Well, it turns out I was meant to live by Campitellis- we're now walking distance from the Placentia location. And its just as awesome as the other. I reviewed this location awhile ago and have stopped by from time to time, but I've already made myself a frequent visitor within the past two weeks since moving close by. I've also finally taken the leap into their sandwiches. And I get the hype. Simple, yet satisfying. They taste homemade, but in the best possible way. And a whole sandwich is a pretty good size- you can get two meals out of it. Also, they're going a good job at operating during COVID. Not all the guests follow the rules as they should, but that's life living in Orange County. Thankfully, they enforce mask wearing, have everything spaced out, and offer hand sanitizer. I feel comfortable going back. Obviously. Because I've been more than I care to admit. Either way, Campitelli for the win. read more

Were these the best cookies I've ever had? Yes. Yes they were. For once in my life my timing was impeccable. I walked into this shop right when several batches of cookies came out of the oven. Would my review be five stars if my cookies weren't warm with melty chocolate chips? Perhaps not. But as I said, I was lucky. I purchased three cookies - chocolate chip, white chip and butter toffee. The chocolate chip was soft, warm and full of delicious chocolate chips. I had chocolate smeared on my lips and didn't care. The butter toffee was also warm and the small bits of toffee throughout the cookie were wonderful. The white chip cookie was not hot out of the oven but was still highly enjoyable. Forget about Mrs. What's-Her-Name or Nestle or those pesky Keebler elves. These are the cookies you've wanted your entire life. Oh. One more thing. This shop also serves sandwiches. read more

It was my first time coming in and I met the most friendliest worker. Roni was sooo nice and so patient. She was kind enough to explain to me the difference in all the cookies. She was super sweet and so kind. I felt bad for being so difficult with all these nut allergy questions , and Roni answered them all. She was even accommodating in the packing. They are noticeably soft when you buy them. Thick, big, and soft. So, if that's not your speed when it comes to cookies, feel free to move along... but I dig 'em. But who knew that had yummy sammies there, too? Seriously, I looked them up as a place for lunch... and decided to go for it - and they have some tasty sandwich options, too. Our lovely neighbors brought us cookies from Campitelli and they were AMAZING! Our little baby had the cutest little ghost-shaped sugar cookie for Halloween. I had a bite and it was melt in your mouth delicious; the baby who never eats sugar had a bite and then told us in his little baby talk, "Baby sit down, eat cookie now." I literally had to pry it out of his little hands after he got a good bit into his gullet. We also were given sugar cookies with frosting and pumpkin cookies with frosting. They were truly beautiful. I had the pumpkin cookie and my mind was blown. Moist almost cake-like cookie exploding with pumpkin spice flavor and then with this sweet yummy frosting. It was a lot of sugar for me but really great. I will definitely be back to Campitelli for all my cookies needs (and for gifts too). read more

I live in the next city over for almost 20 years and how could I miss this gem that's been in business for over 40 years?! I have some serious making up to do. The cookies are scrumptiously delicious!!! About 2 dozen varieties to choose from and they have a selection of tin cans, jars, bows, cards, ribbons where you can build a gift to someone special. They ship too! Sandwiches are made fresh to order and served with a warm friendly smile. Terrific little place with big flavors, will absolutely be coming back!! My husband and I ordered food and cookies for a small Halloween party and we were very happy with everything and would definitely order again for other occasions. :-) We ordered mini 2" sandwiches, pepperoni rolls, potato salad and cookies. Our guests complimented the food, especially the soft fresh bread! The Halloween cookies were so cute and festive and tasted delicious. They made everything simple and easy for that day, and it was all so organized. The way everything was prepared and packaged was very neat and carefully done. :-) The owner Debbie came out to thank us when we picked up our order. Don't let the name fool you, Campitelli's "Cookies" is NOT just great cookies (don't get me wrong, their cookies are AMAZING!) but their sandwiches are equally amazing! This place just rocks! The service is always fast and very friendly and they never get the order wrong. This review is solely for their cookies. I have yet to try their sandwiches. These are my FAVORITE cookies and I love how the staff here are always friendly. Their cookies are always so perfect. They have a slightly crispy exterior and a fluffy, soft, buttery center. I could never really rationalize paying $$ for basic cookie flavors, until I tried the cookies here. I love baking my own cookies, but these cookies are something else. They literally have the perfect texture, which is why I always come back for more. It's a bit of a drive for me, just to get cookies, but it's always worth it. I always leave with a box of half dozen cookies and a box of misfits. I always regret not getting enough chocolate chip cookies. I always want to try other flavors, but the chocolate chip is just so good that it's worth getting at least 3 of them. I love their lemon sugar cookie too, the icing is divine. My other go-to's are usually macadamia white chocolate and snickerdoodles. Their sprinkle cookies and chocolate peanut butter cookies are also good, I just don't particularly care too much for the chocolate dough. I also like their double chip cookies, but nothing can compare to the classic chocolate chip cookie. Trust me, you have to try their cookies! Not very good service for pre-call in orders!! I work at a large medical group down the street and we have only 30mins for lunch which is why a PHONE ORDER SHOULD BE QUICKER.. well not lately. First of all the store set up IS NOT GREAT FOR QUICK PICKUPS. They need to have a separate section for that kind of customer with a register for pre-orders or a person to ask if anyone is here for that to get them OUT THE DOOR. Who the heck wants to stand IN LINE behind all these other people trying to decide what they want to order. NOT LOGICAL. Or have a number system like a deli because no one knows where to stand and who is next!!!
