I can't get enough of this place. I'm in love with their wedge salad and fig and prosciutto wood fired pizza. I've never dined in but the pizza and salad really hold up as take out orders. I would love to try more menu items but I love my usual so much I can't bring myself to pass up an opportunity to enjoy them! Highly recommend! read more

This is one of my favorite places. They have killed it during Covid and become a true neighborhood establishment.

I was in the area and my girlfriend and I stopped in for a quick bite to eat. We were very impressed. The pizza was great. We got a half bbq chicken pizza and a half fig jam pizza. We also got an order of their meatballs. Everything tasted amazing. The employees were very nice and accommodating too. They also had a vast selection of wine and bourbon too! read more

Located in an old gas station in Ft. Mitchell, this place was hopping! The parking was totally full on a Wednesday at 6:15 and we snagged the last 4 top, this place is popular! The garage doors were open, and combined with the wood fired oven, it was super hot in there....we were all sweating by the time dinner was over. The important part- the wood fired pizza was a hit! We went for an early Sunday dinner. Good thing we were early because this place is usually packed. The hostess asked if we would like a booth or table, my wife always wants a booth. I have to wear pants to restaurants because I hate my legs sticking to the booth. Emma gave us a quick "I will be right with you" and went to another table. When she came back my wife asked for a sample of the Pinot Grigio and the Sauvignon Blanc. My wife picked the Pinot Grigio which is very surprising, she loves S. Blanc. We both agreed the Pinot Grigio had a hint of apple that we liked. We ordered a house salad and Caesar salad both were delicious. We decided to get two pizzas so we could take some home to our teenager. We ordered the Quattro Formaggi and the Camporosso deluxe. The sausage was a little spicy which I loved. We just love this place! It's comfortable, the food is fantastic, and the staff is friendly and professional. This is our favorite spot for pizza and salad! There are 2 different styles of pizza. The Americana is our go to for an amazing edge and bottom crust. If you're not about pizza then you have to try their Cobb Salad with their house made gorgonzola dressing. This salad is not your typical Cobb. They add Pappadew peppers that add a slightly sweet and spicy note. I just crave it! The owners care deeply about the quality of food and service they provide. We waited to be seated for 30 minutes and it was very much worth the wait. The pizza was very good and so was the service, our server was always near with refills and accommodating our needs. Not only is this probably the best wood fired pizza I've ever eaten the customer service here is above and beyond. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. My wife and I ordered take out, unfortunately when we got home we noticed the pizza was wrong. When we called to get a refund on our card not only did they refund the card but the owner of the restaurant delivered a replacement to my front door with complimentary meet balls. They dont even deliver! Above and beyond. I have never received this level of service from any business in my life. read more

Camporosso has some great pizza! That mozzarella was amazing. We tried the chicken pesto and of course the classic margherita pizza. They both were really good but we preferred the margherita. They had 8 wood fired pizza and a rotating special, so lots of options. We are excited to try other varieties in the future. They also had a big drink menu that looked really good. Delicious Father's Day lunch at Camporosso in Ft. Mitchell, Ky. We started with the charcuterie board to share, which was really good. Their drink menu is quite extensive and they have a full bar too. I had the sparkling white sangria, and Mom had the fruity cosmo. We shared the fig and prosciutto and hot honey pizzas, which were both wonderful. David, our waiter, and Eric, the owner, were both very helpful & although the restaurant was very busy, they took great care of us. We'll be back for sure! read more

I have been wanting to try this place for such a long time. Maybe my expectations were just too high but for me this was good but not great. We had the margarita and the pig and pepper. The big issue for me was the crust. It was flimsy and soggy. Didn't hold the toppings well and there weren't that many of them. The S'mores calzone was fun but just ok. Also the pizza did not reheat well at all. It ended up a soggy mess with burnt crust even through I did it in the oven. It is out of the way and not really a destination sadly. read more

I read the reviews and had been dying to try the margherita pizza. I ordered from Doordash and when my pizza arrived, half of it was all over the box. The pizza itself was slimy in texture, the dough didn't taste like it was done. I was very disappointed but the prices was reasonable. My friend and I tried this out after multiple Pizza Week recommendations! The environment is very casual, with the pizza oven being right in the center of the bar. We browsed the menu, and everything was pretty pricey. We stuck with the special of 8$ Buffalo chicken pizza. It was AMAZING! The crust was crispy and chewy, the chicken on the pizza was tender and evenly spread, there was enough heat with the Buffalo sauce, but the drizzle of ranch added an excellent coolant! If you go here expect to have a wait. They are usually pretty crowded, but it is worth the wait. They have many interesting drink specials to choose from as well as a few, 6, beers on tap. The wood fired pizza is definitely the way to go, we got the prosciutto fig pizza and it was very tasty. Be prepared to wash your hands after, it can get a little sticky. Also, if you get the Cesar salad, and you want the anchovies, be very clear on that. I guess the kitchen usually takes then off, so yours might come out without the anchovies on it. read more

What a cute little treasure in Fort Mitchell! It's nice to see that area of town being utilized. First impression on walking up to the building is it is a simple and elegant design. They have plenty of outdoor seating, most of which is covered. They have large booths and small tables to sit at inside. The focal point of the restaurant is the word burning oven, which is absolutely beautiful. They offer a great selection of Neapolitan pizzas, American pizzas, pastas, salads and appetizers. Even though I did not have a drink on this trip I definitely noticed a lot of special cocktails that I can't wait to try it next time. I think they had a pretty good range of beers on tap as well. My friend and I started by sharing a wedge salad. She is not a huge fan of blue cheese so they graciously put the blue cheese on the side, as well as offering us two dressings on the side. The dressings were absolutely delicious. And the bacon was perfectly crisp. I really enjoyed the addition of a balsamic vinegar. We were intrigued by the "hot honey" that is offered on one of the pizzas. This is a pizza that everyone should order every time they go. Combination of the fresh tomatoes, cheese, salami, and the hot honey is divine! Hot honey by the way is a spicy honey. And I believe the honey is local. Of course I would have to mention the crust, it is a perfectly chard from the wood-burning oven and chewy goodness. We finished off our meal by ordering the Smore's calzone. Wow! I seriously had my doubts considering they use pizza dough for the crust, but it did not disappoint. They cut it for you, thank goodness because I wouldn't know where to start to eat this thing. It is monstrous! So so good! Perfect chocolate, marshmallow combo. Go support this great local business. They are new so I can tell they're working out some flaws in their service. But the staff is very friendly which makes it easy to forgive any wait. I hope to see this place last a very long time. read more

When traveling we always try to find local businesses to support. Jackpot! Great family owned business with lots of hardworking people. The host, with a smile on his face makes a great first impression. The cocktails were tasty and reasonably priced. We started with a lemon basin martini and Manhattan and ended with an espresso martini. All were really great. We had the fig and prosciutto pizza and being a meatball fiend, we tried the spaghetti and meatballs (I was craving pasta). The pizza was delicious, perfectly balanced sweet and savory. The spaghetti and meatballs were very good, but you only get two meatballs so I would skip that next time. This is a gem. read more

This was my second time eating at Camporosso and it was just as great as the first! Their prosciutto and fig pizza is AMAZING! The best prosciutto and fig I've ever had. I had that the first and second time. We had the buffalo chicken last night as well and it was sooo good! We had a slice of it from a family member the first time we went and told ourselves we had to order it next time. We have also had the meatball hoagie which is great. The meatballs are really big and the bread is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The bbq chicken pizza is also really good, but I just LOVE prosciutto and fig! read more

I'm not sure where to start but i have to say the decor and interior was very welcoming. The wood fire oven is the main attraction for me. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. When we sat down, another thing that grabbed my attention was one of the employees. He was slicing some capicola. I love capicola btw. We had the marghertia and all the meats and they were absolutely delicious!!! I think it's my new favorite. My husband says Dewey's is better but i like this place a lot more. Decent prices as well! Finally got to try this place out during their continued soft opening. The first thing I noticed is that the decor is very simplistic. They kept a lot of the original parts of the building, which used to be a garage/shop. I loved the open garage doors to their patio. I do think it lost some of its ambiance, because it was raining. The layout is a bit awkward, but I can't blame them for working with what they had. The brick oven with mosaic tile is really neat. It's also cool that their kitchen is relatively open so you watch them make pizza. My husband ordered the Italian Chili to start and I got a Caesar. Both were good, although we weren't sure what made the chili "Italian". It tasted like any other chili to me. The Caesar was in a tiny bowl, which made it difficult to eat without spilling stuff all over the place. We ordered the wood fired prosciutto fig pizza, which was very unique (gorgonzola, prosciutto, arugula, and fig jam). I won't say it was the best pizza I've ever had, but it was good. We split a vanilla bean gelato for dessert and that was good too. I kind of feel like I was expecting more overall from this place, but it wasn't a bad time either. We'll probably come back. I do find myself wanting to try a few more of their pizzas, particularly the pesto chicken. read more

I held back several weeks before giving Camporosso a try just so they could work out all the kinks as most new restaurants face. I stopped in here on a Friday night. I tried to get there semi-early in order to get a decent seat, but up on arrival the restaurant was packed. I was very happy to see this kind of crowd for this new business, even thought that meant I had to wait a little bit for a seat. I ultimately got a seat at the bar that overlooks the making of the pizzas up close. What a cool experience! The tap list and food was excellent. I ordered two pizzas, the prosciutto and fig and the pesto chicken. Both pizzas were great and I cannot wait to try the rest of them during future visits! read more
